K Fly if they notice they have the option of contesting it but if the company is defunct there isn’t anything anyone can do. Also, many companies who also prey on children have specific policies of not refunding a charge just because a child made it. Said policies written in small print in a gigantic document you click “agree” without reading.

Merely asking an attorney for their opinion on whether to sue over 64 dollars would cost a lot more than that. The only possibility of legal action would be if someone cared enough to file a class action suit on behalf of everyone that got scammed (which won’t happen because it’s unlikely that anyone lost more than 64 bucks on this, or anywhere near enough to care that much... but then again, hating Jake Paul might be enough to drive someone there).
Aaron Muck I'm absolutely certain some of them have thought about filing, but the problem with lawsuits in the US is that they're expensive as hell even if you win. For a lot of regular people they're prohibitively expensive, meaning TONS of appropriate, worthy lawsuits just don't ever get filed because of it.
Europe's system for lawsuits is vastly superior in this way, when it comes to legitimate lawsuits. The way that LegalEagle described it about five minutes into his "John Oliver SLAPP suit" video was that the "American rule" of lawsuits is where the person filing the lawsuit pays for their lawyer whether they win or lose the suit. In contrast, the "British rule" is where the winner of the lawsuit receives their legal fees, effectively as damages, from the person they sued. So the loser pays the winner's legal fees with the British rule.

That’s deceptive. If you watch the first video, Drew (a grown ass man btw not even a child) was very confused by what he was paying for because it the site purposefully misrepresents the service.

It's funny, these are just a bunch of 'back end tech developers' who know how to write code and scam kids out of their parents money. They BELONG with team 10!
*EDIT* - Demeanour, Adfluence or whatever the fuck, are not owned by Splish. They are owned by Jake Paul. Jake hired the Splish company to develop these websites for him. It's all Jake.

Paying for a product without ever receiving that product, false advertising, not protecting credit card info (every time you check out separately a cvc code should be required) and not to mention the site no longer existing nor having a proper terms and services

I’m pretty sure if you buy it but “the business fails” or something they can use that as an excuse to not deliver, especially if it’s service based product and not a tangible good. It’s like if you buy a year subscription to a game and it closes a month later, you probably won’t get your refund. Whatever terms of service you checked off without reading probably wrote in a legal clause to cover it
