Landlords tend to avoid undermount sinks. Tenants will fill the sink with water and let dishes soak-sometimes for days (even with a dishwasher) The weight of water can bust those undermount clips and you're left with a flooded kitchen. You can also support undermounts with wood.
You always have to measure the hight because refrigerators are diff heights and the upper cabinets can be 12 or 15 inches high, you could end up removing the cabinet and cutting the cabinet. After seeing it in the opening they should have ordered a counter depth one so it wouldn’t stick out so far.
Home Depot delivered a fridge through a 42" wide door at my daughter's house recently. Despite having a helper, this one guy decided to haul it in by himself on a dolly. When he lifted it up at the entrance to step inside he slipped and fell back and the full weight of the fridge landed on top of him. HUGE HEAVY fridge. The dolly protected him a bit. He laid under the fridge for a while ASKING to allow him some time to "compose" himself. Said his family jewels had been affected. He installed the fridge temporarily and ordered a new one. On his way back to his truck he was walking with a limp. I don't think he had a limp when he arrived. I had never seen a fridge fall on a person before. Crazy stuff.
I have to call you out! Did you throw that nail in the grass? That could become a deadly projectile! Besides that, you should be a home inspector! Get us some shots!
Those HD delivery guys were sharp, obviously well experienced moving appliances. House looked nice on video, except all the screw-up’s you saw. And yes those dual switches terribly costly now. However I avoid all cheap outlets and switches on any job I’m working on. Most importantly my own home, and garages.
Brian, before I silicone, I wipe down the crack with 'methylated spirit'. Do you have that in USA? It's a purple liquid we use for starting barbeques. It makes the silicone stick much better.
I guess you're supposed to run a dryer vent across the floor to the hookup on the other side of the laundry room? I didn't see any electrical outlet above it... 🤔
@@apex007 I’ve been in the trade for decades. Silicone and other soft adhesive sealants are what has been used since the arrival of under mount sinks. Epoxy cures too hard and will crack and separate due to flexing of the sink and the different expansion/contraction of the top material and the sink. The clamps are what hold the sink to the top - not the sealant/adhesive.

Isn't crazy how strong paint is on the edge of a door or a window sash? Great video!
I know right I was waiting for it to be ripped off!

I definitely should have but not for the price they were paying me for the sink lol
They have a Buy 5 boxes of this flooring get 2 free boxes of another flooring? lol. Hopefully they give the driveway, sidewalks and lawn some love.
Lol flooring deals! Yea they have to do something when they have a showing! Gotta look pretty!
I also hate those kitchen strainers, you need an oli filter wrench to tighten them
Yep stupid strainers!!! Right in the garbage they belong
Whats with the horizontal switches and outlets? Is that a thing now, or some new NEC?
It's a remodel lol 😆 what ever they could get to work lol 😆

What’s the “city” Chicago?
I usually try to hide my location lol
Ohh. I’ve seen ur phone number in some vids and was just curious when you mention the city. I figured it was either Joliet or Chicago.
They might leave the lights on to keep the street dwellers out.
Probably but u couldn't see the light on outside
@@thehandymanexperience226 They will usually go around back to get in
Yes 😂
I would have used the sliding door as the entry for HD, need to learn Spanish
I'm a moron lol 😆 I didn't even see that cus I wasn't looking for it poor guys lol
Those sinks have to be epoxied in
No, they don’t.
@@brucestorey917 sure if you want them to eventually detach from the stone.
