PSA COLLECTOR I love that you get honest criticism and you take it exactly as meant. And then *** and then *** you say âyup, I shouldnât (or should) have included themâ. It makes your legitimate content even more legitimate. Great stuff.
The most valuable card I ever had was a 1960s Mickey Mantle card worth about 375-450 bucks in 1987. I traded it as a kid to a kid at school for a switch blade knife, a Darth Vader toy, and a silk Guns n Roses poster. He traded it for a 4 wheeler. Idk what happened after that. Ithad been my dad's card before that and he was sick to his stomach that I traded it. I was a silly kid.
I wonder what these prices would be now? I got back in in March when a lot of us did and the market has been on đ„. Your videos have been a tremendous tool in navigating the new card landscape! Thanks!
Bro because of you I find gradable Gems every day when Iâm at my shop going through my collection and inventory. Bro your the best you literally have saved my store ...... keep it up we need youđđđ
You have a Pete Maravich rookie? If you do letâs do a trade, I have plenty great cards to trade.
Watched 3 or 4 of your videos yesterday, and it pulled me back into collecting cards again after 25+ years.
That's awesome man! Thanks for reaching out and letting me my videos inspired you to get back in the hobby. I hear that a lot from guys and gals and it keeps me motivated to make more!

Same here! Haha
I have most of them not graded but are in good to great condition
Same just trying to take everything in and hope for the best....Thanks
Great info I will have to check my local card shop for some of these when they re-open.... I know they have them but not sure if they are in gem mint condition.
Hello. Thank You So much making this video very informative. I have so many cards. I have to go through. This is the first time viewing your channel and I was so impressed that it was amazing. I subscribed. Thanks. đđđđŻ
I have a few of these cards from that era that I essentially thought were worthless, even the Ken Griffey Jr upped deck and Dunruss rated rookie cards.. all of them are still in plastic sleeves from 25+years ago .. now I'll have to look for them!!!
You say you aren't doing special sets like Topps Tiffany then you have Fleer and Score glossy cards on the list. They're pretty much the same as Tiffany.
Came here to post same comment
Yup. Same. So many unusual editions. Not something you'd find in a common wax pack. This video disappointed me.

Pl)p0p
Great content thanks for sharing ! I have a lot of cards from this era !
The population number means that only that many cards have been graded with that number. So example is the no name frank thomas card, only one of those has been graded in a gem mint 10. Hope this helps guys
@Cody Anderson LOL SMH U GOTTA BE TROLLING
I have two of the John Smoltz error cards in mint condition.
i owned a sportscard vending business in Edmonton in 1991-93 and i still have tons of as new unopened baseball nba nhl nfl packs still in storage from then. maybe i have some of these cards all mint in packs. will have to look one day
Too funny, when I was collecting cards in the late 80s and early 90s I was working at a video store in Philadelphia...named Door to Door Video.
Hey man good job, I really enjoy your videos. Also I have a bunch of sports cards that I would like to get graded and sell. Do you have any recommendations??
I LOVE your channel, keep it up. Iâm 38, and grew up in the junk wax era, and just started back up again because of you, Jabs, The Past is Alive, etc... One thought on these videos. Is the E-Bay screenshot necessary? We believe you, and it makes videos longer than they need to be.
Thanks for the feedback, Nick! I'm thinking you are correct and I just need to provide a link in the description to the cards and not show them in the video. I'll look into changing it up a little bit to save some time đ
I like the screenshots, they take about 5 seconds each, lol! Let's get real, if you spend time watching youtube videos (myself included) let's not act like you have this great life and a ton going on to where you are so inconvenienced by a 26 minute video that would be a 21 minute video had he not shown the screen shots. Be honest, 5 minutes of either of our time, we'll get over it and wouldn't be doing anything of importance with those 5 extra minutes anyway!
I like to be able to see the cards too .... :)
You put a lot of research into these videos, great job! Keep them coming!
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I do đ
Have you ever done a video on the 91 Donruss Elite cards by chance? I would be interested to see the market value on some of those cards in today's market.
Hey wasup man. Came across ya video and watching it now.... i was a HUGEEEE collector back in the day. Late 80s till early 2000s.... got around 6000 cards.. bunch of rookie cards, special edition, limited edition cards, whole sets, got couple miss-prints and error cards, fleer. Plus alot lot lot more.... all kept in amazing condition. Alot in card plastic jackets .. i would love to show u them if u like and im also interested in selling them as well.. also got marvel cards about 2500 cards as well.... if interested plz feel free to hit me back anytims thanks
Very good video, thank you. Iâm a Bowman collector but you brought back tons of memories.
Thanks for the feedback! I had a few Bowman in this list đ
Interesting about the Nolan Ryan donruss error card. I had like 3 of those. In fact they were printed in factory sets and packs. I think the correction is rarer
Yes
These videos are so good watched this one for the 3rd time now have most of these cards even the jeters all of them I think my sp would only fetch a 7 though definitely fun to watch all your videos makes me start sorting through the cards looking for possible 10âs thanks for the videos keep it up buddy
Thanks for all the feedback Dale I'm glad you like all of these videos! I'm not sure if I told you but I love making them! Finding new cards I never knew about or cards that have huge potential. That's awesome you have some Jeter's as his cards will be going up, up, up! Thanks for watching and the support brother!
Yea, I had that Jeter sp card and it was scratched all up. I sold it 10 years ago for like 30 bucks.
The Post ceral Ken Griffey jr was on the list. The Ozzie Smith version sold for even more. I've got two of each....most the set
I have a huge Ken Griffey, Edgar Martinez, Jay Buhner and Randy Johnson collection from when I lied in WA. Also have a bunch of those Post Cereal cards.
I have more than 30 of these cards including the 93 SP Jeter.. time to get them graded
Love the video and I do have 10 SP 1993 Jeter but my highest is 8.5 PSA. I bought that a few months ago for $1600 and now itâs sold at $7000 plus. Hey the card market might catch up to the comic book market. I still find it strange that there are hardly any people at card shows and going to any comic con is like a special event. And the one in New York and in California comic book shows are bigger than the Super Bowl.đ„łđ„łđ„ł
Damn, time to dig the old collection out. I've got most of what's on that list, including the Jeter UD SP foil card.
Yeah but ungraded there not worth.much just a couple bucks for most. psa 10 is super hard to get
@@krisshaw9464 sold one of my ungraded Jeter UD foil cards for $450.
I actually have John Smoltz/Tom Glavine card...good info...keep it up!
I got a bunch of those 1993 finest refractor cards and i believe i may have the whole set or close to it... plus derek jeter rookie cards i just saw on your video
Great video! Although I do think you should have excluded all of the glassy cards. They're in the same category as traded, Tiffany, and desert shield.
Lol yeah I got a little ahead of myself đ thanks for the feedback!
Love this video
When my son was born in 1977 I started buying baseball cards every payday I was too busy working to get involved in introducing my son to the cards
So now Iâm introducing him to our collection I think we should start out small with baseball cards first then move in on basketball cards
Great content. Thank you for your work.
The #1 card is the 1993 Upper Deck SP Derek Jeter foil rookie card PSA 10 at $99,100. The #2 card is the 1990 Topps Frank Thomas error card PSA 10 at $24,244. Other top cards include the 1993 Upper Deck SP Chipper Jones and Manny Ramirez foil rookie cards PSA 10, 1989 Fleer Ken Griffey Jr. rookie PSA 10, 1993 Upper Deck Derek Jeter rookie PSA 10, 1989 Fleer Bill Ripken error PSA 10, 1989 Donruss Juan Gonzalez rookie PSA 10, 1989 Fleer and Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr. rookies PSA 10. Other notable rookie cards include Barry Bonds, Greg Maddux, Roberto Alomar, John Smoltz, Edgar Martinez, Mike Mussina, Mariano Rivera, Chipper Jones, and Derek Jeter from 1987-1993. Popular error cards also made the list.
Just found a "Smoltz/Glavine" Donruss at my buddies house the other night, digging through his old collection in the garage!!
$0.25. Congrats guy.
@@ak_chicago lol
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for making it. Quality content.
Thanks for the feedback!
I bought and opened 12 1990 donruss rack packs, pulled 2 Nolan Ryan 5000k and in same 2 packs were 2 Nolan Ryan diamond kings. All 4 cards have even boarders and sharp corners,,
Nice pulls! would have been cool if there were the error cards đ
Re-watching this video in Sept 2021. Miss PSA collector's videos.
I didn't see this video when you first posted it. I would like to see a newer or more recent Judge video, on what some of the highest total sales have been. I actually sold one of my 2017 topps update Aaron Judge photo variation auto for $2000 in the middle of January, print run of 10 and I had 2, still got 1 to go with the complete rainbow, it's on eBay right now for $30k OBO, it has two 1 of 1s and two #99 Judge's jersey numbered cards. Thanks bro, take care.
I inherited eight boxes of cards and Iâm trying to educate myself. Appreciate your information and expertise.
Good luck looking through it itâs pretty not fun
@@dragon6241 it sort of is though in a way as you never know what you are going to get - might be some great cards in the deck
When I was little, that Jeter SP sold for 10-$20 ... there was a dealer at the flea market that had quite a few of them!!
Kris Carman
I had that Derek jester rookie card that sold for $240 BUT my mother threw ALL my cards out I'm sick to my stomach they were worth thousands by now
Well time to send in some of my 87,88 ,89 cards to PSA have cases of them hundreds of Bonds, Griffey RC
Vincent LoCicero Me too but I always managed to ding the corner as I was putting them in the top loaders đ
I have the Griffeyâs and jeter cards. They are raw and Only collected as a kid in the 90âs. Would you all recommend getting them graded, even though they might be psa 8-9.5???
Cool! I have one of the John Smoltz BC 12 (photo of Tom Glavine) Just not graded.
Thks for the valuable information. I have few on there.
Are the beckett magazine price guides worth anything have some from 88 89
I remember the Topps finest packs were 20 a pack of you could find then
Dang, well wish I could still get a 87 leaf maddux for under $200, one of the remaining key cards I need
Great video! Keep them coming!
I'm CRUSHING the like button. Very cool era to explore because a lot of those are available but PSA 10? not so much.
Enjoyed the video. Can you do a basketball version?
Iâve got a serious question. Iâve got a Greg maddux with the Peoria Cubs mad dog card raw. Do you think I should hand off to psa to get graded an the potential value of this card
Recently a guy from work brought up cards, I haven't looked thorough my cards in years. I Iwatched this video.. I have two, of the Jeter cards
Is the 93 Topps Derick Jeter Rookie correct? I know that there is an almost identical card that came from a special set and had a stamp on the front of it. Was that what you are referring too, or does the regular card really go for that price with a high grade?
15:49 OMG I BOUGHT THAT ENTIRE SET FOR LIKE $8!!! (guy at flea market who was selling A LOT of cards)..... How much does it cost to get a baseball card card graded?
Man I had about ten of those Post Ken Griffey Junior cards. Guess I should have held on to them.
You can pick them up for relatively cheap, it's a matter of finding them in gem mint condition. Those are the ones collectors want đ
This is why I go every weekend to the flea market and buy old boxes and rip them open. Got 89 donruss Griffey and Johnson last weekend. Weekend before I got 2 second year Topps Griffey and 2 frank Thomas rookies. Among a lot of other great cards.
Do most flea markets have boxes of baseball cards? I would worry how well they were stored?
Btw what did you pay for the box set? Was itâs decent price?
@@billsimms2511 the bigger flea markets will have cards most of the time. I think at the most I pay up to $50 for boxes. 35 packs usually 15 cards. It's really not too bad and a lot fun. Sometimes you may run across a pack or two that may have some water damage. But for the most part we don't have any issues at all. Good clean cards, sharp corners.
Greetings, I had questions. Does becoming a sliver member with PSA entitle an individual to the bulk shipping perk, and if so, how many can one ship in bulk?
Yep. If you become a member you will have access to bulk discounts. Check out my video on how to submit to PSA that will go over everything you need to know. czcams.com/video/GC8D2sAV5Uw/video.html
I got that 90' Donruss ERROR John Smoltz with Glavine's Pic.
I have an entire box of tops cards including all stars and tecord breakers like in 1987. Are they worth much?
Great info! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed!
Have seen alot of videos online. I do have a few (alot) of very well kept cards as well as some diamonds so to say. From chip jones to a massive stack of JRs to Nolan himself. Just wondering if I can send pics to you to help me sell them to somelne..
Most definitely the frank Thomas card ,ry for the info I go tons of these did not bother to check ,I will check now ,of course how can u go wronbwith Griffey lol,ty for ur time n info Millard Hardy , Hope this finds u n finds u well
Just looked through my stuff...I have the Ken Griffey Jr Topps Rookie...ranked #41 on here. Not graded though but very nice and well centered. And I have the Donruss Dominator Jr card as well...I must have thought it was gonna be worth something because I put it in a hard sleeve ...perfect condition and nice centering as well. Found the Jr Topps traded rookie also still in the 89 Traded box set and the Upper Deck but that one is off center unfortunately. I had the Jr Fleer rookie as well but I sold it a while back...dammit! Lol
As long you didnât find it from a set box on eBay or Amazon for 20 bucks youâre good. 99.9 percent fake on eBay or Amazon if itâs not graded.
I have a 1987 Topps Harold Reynolds and Joel Skinner with blank backs . Meaning there are no stats on the back. What do you think?
I have a large notebook with Ken Griffey Jr. All in
Plastic cases. One large
Notebook with plastic sleeves Nolan Ryan cards
And many more. Where can I get them appraised
The thing with those SP Jeter Rookies is even if you pull one from a box, the chance of getting a 10 is almost zilch. Most of those old boxes were not stored properly and the cards stick together.
Oh yeah, that's why they sell for boatloads of money in gem mint condition. Collectors are aware of how rare they are. Currently, just 22 have made their way into a gem mint condition case! Incredible!.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I only have one card from that set, a Johnny Damon SP Foil in PSA 8. I think it might be the only set I never open a pack from out of 1993.
Iâve got some cards like that; most of them are mint. Iâm keeping them.
You think they are mint but trust me they arenât
Great stuff thank you!
Thanks Erick!
True junk wax would be just the regular sets of that era. I enjoyed the video.
You have saved me 100,000 hours of research. Thank you!
Hi...you mentioned the Nolan Ryan with "King of Kings" on the back. What about his "king of kings" card with the #659 plus stats on the back......any value?
5 cents
No value
You should do an update to some of these videos comparing prices from a year ago
I have a lot of these cards what is the best way to sell them been had them for over 20 years what would I recommend doing love the video by the way
Hey wassup dude like your videos pretty cool đ how I can see what cards are valuable cause I struck a load of cards when me and my were fixing a house and a lot of these cards must be worth some just asking maybe you can guide me on what can I do to know where to start I never sent any of my cards to get graded Iâm really into collecting cards the pandemic has really got me back to collecting again I started when I was a child but never knew what to do with my card the majority are in great condition thanks for the inspiration đđœ
When thereâs a card like that Jeter hologram for example, is it always in the base set if you bought the complete set? What are the rules on that in general?
Yep, the 1993 Upper Deck Gold Holograms were found in complete sets which were distributed in 1 of every 15-set cases! Chances are they've all been found by now though.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR Ah I see.
Side ? My PSA order status has been on "Graded" for more than a week. Is that normal?
@@Al-ImprovEd2022 Nothing is normal when it comes to the PSA system. It's always changing. If there is an issue with your order they will e-mail you or call you. If they haven't contacted you then everything is going smoothly đ
PSA COLLECTOR thanks
What about the topps number 336 ken Griffey jr. card with bloody arm
What a good video man. Great video idea.
Thanks! It took me forever to make lol. Glad you enjoyed it!
I have about 4 of thoes derek jeter rookie cards in mint. Also ken griffery and mark mcguire plus i bunch of others
How much for it all?
I have two of the 1990 Donruss Juan Gonzales Rated Rookie Cards. Perfect condition. They've been sitting in the same slip since I acquired them trading as a pre teen in the early 90s. Pretty exciting considering they think there is only one left in the whole world and I have two of them!!!
And both of your cards have the Aquesous stamp on the back?
@@NWtoSFO doubt it. he doesnt even know what aqueous test is lol
I have a bunch of them
Keep em coming bro love it
Thanks for the feedback, Robert! I have plenty more videos in the making đ
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR do you kno how much the frank Thomas with the name goes for?
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR i also have some of these cards lile the griffey and Johnson if your interested in buying.
nice I have at least 5 of these cards none psa I might have to get some graded
I thought the Upper Deck Michael Jordan card would have made the list. Great video.
I have close to 20K sports cards (mostly baseball) from 1978 to early 2000s. One of these days Iâll get around to sorting some of them and listing them on my eBay store.
Iâm literally in the same boat. Just went through maybe 1/4 of what I have and Iâm as overwhelmed as Iâve ever been lol. Good luck
@@muddysouth55 Iâm in the same boat. I havenât been into card trading since I was a kid but just went through my card stash - I have quite a few great cards but not really sure what to do next. Getting them graded seems a bit messy
when jeter gets inducted into the hall, i woudlnt be suprised if that sp goes for 250K
88 Score glossy r/t Alomar XRC comes to mind.
I could have sworn I added those cards to this list ! Maybe its the other 90's baseball card video
How could a guy got about selling all his cards I've got alot from like the 70s up
Needs updating already. That Sanders rookie sells for double that!
How do I tell if I have the glossy version or the regular?
Question. My gf's grandpa who passed had a TON of unopened full trading card boxes. 3 are 93 upper deck sp. I went through one and found not 1 but 2 of those jeter cards. What should I do with them as far as getting them appraised and/or sold??
I would def send them in to be graded. I wouldnât open any more boxes Bc they sell for buy money factory sealed. If you need money now I would consider selling the boxes factory sealed on eBay.
What about 1991 Topps Desert Shield cards? I thought those were worth some money? Especially the Chipper Jones Rookie.
Did you watch the beginning of the video? I mentioned that set and some others at 0:52
Come on paul, pay attention. Your not in school anymore.
I'm very sorry about You don't do this anymore. You are the best!!! I watched so much, but No1 is You!
Iâm a first time viewer I liked it wow is all I can say I have thousands of cards thatâs taking up lots of space how can I get rid of them I have full sets from when I was a kid all mint condition sets from early 1960 to 2003
Awesome love your Videos! Thanks
Thanks for the feedback!
Really enjoyed
Thanks for the feedback! đđŒ
6:31 genuine question, how is that Piazza a 10 when itâs clearly off center?
bc the seller is great friends with a psa grader and cheats like 90% of the high priced psa 10 cards ... they own and control the market. you send in a 10 card they take it swipe it out give you a close to looking one and grade it a 9 then keep yours and grade it a 10 and sell it for 3,000 and let you sell yours for 300. its really messed up and people are getting scammed so bad right now while they are making HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS off peoples stuff. and on top of that theyre charging THOUSANDS for grading ..
I think that you should do a video of the cards you have
Thats a good idea, I can do a video on my Drew Brees collection đ
I am glad you show the value I have most of the cards you showed. Some I have 10 of them just need them graded. Thank you.
I have the 89 Griffey Fleet card... It says Gloss on your Video what's the difference between Fleer and Fleer Gloss
Fleer Glossy have a Glossy finish on the front and feel more "premium" than regular Fleer cards.
That #10 Billy Ripken Var. #4 I think was factory sets. But it also shows how overprinting processes were with the many print runs VERIFIED by this set. Serial numbered cards are where it's at. I love those and modern RC cards 9 or better. 8 and 8.5 if they are old or valuable enough raw.
I have the bill ripken with the "fk face" on thr bat
So are the Leaf versions of the cards more valuable than Donruss versions? I noticed all of those brands you showed were Leaf.
What is the error on the back of the Ryan card?? Because it says 'King of Kings'?
Derek Jeter's top rookie card, the SP, is one of the most sought after sports card on the market so the selling price for the PSA 10 copy does not surprise me. PSA 9s of his top rookie have sold for 5 figures themselves.
Oh yeah, I can't even afford a PSA 8 lol
Oh ya, big card...I'd even take a 6 and be happy...lol
I found that at a flea market for 3$, dude had no idea who Derek Jeter was
@@Bable012 you got a steal for that price
@@chrisbath3956 thanks, I need to get it graded. Still in its sleeve
How do you come up with the Population??? Is that just the ones that are graded?
I have a Jeter SP foil card. Haven't had it graded yet.
Supplemental Sense lies
Yeah, you are so right. Nobody could possibly ever own that card.
Please do some hockey as well, thanks!
Yes, sir! I have some in the making... Stay posted! Trying to knock out a hockey junk wax era video for all you hockey fans before the end of the month.
