Makes complete sense, circumstances have changed so opinions change
It's almost as if results change the opinions of people. Crazy isn't it?!
@@samcrowe734 It makes no sense as they take the flavour of the week and then predict the whole season to finish as the current trend. Not accounting for changes, then Simon Jordan's take last year that Arsenal didn't have the winning culture and would bottle it would of been more interesting. This is basically just taking whoever is currently top of the league and saying that will be the same by the end of the season

As long as pep is still in the premier League it will be very very difficult for any team to win the premier League.
Any good manager can win the league with his players & team depth
@@check2000 That's not true, you know it means if he wins 6/7years premier League. Pep is an elite manager. He coached alongside Ferguson, and other old experience managers summing it up, he's the only one to do this. Any good manager will win 3/7 or 2/7 or 4/7. Not 6/7 total dominance.
@@check2000 I'm a man utd fan and to be honest with you, since pep came to the premier League I feel for the other team especially man utd because I don't watch football with much expectations because I know man city will win the league. â@@check2000Yeah, like Mourinho did at United. Oh, wait...
Agreed⊠city wonât win the league the year after Pep leaves, would bet anything, theyâll just be decent again like under pellegrini finishing 4th behind Leicester and spurs etc
Is it too hard to admit that Guardiola is head and shoulders above above other manager ?
Heâs literally had billions and his club are under investigation for heavily cheating. Itâs no miracle
A good manager obviously, but difficult to compare with other managers past and present. He's never really challenged himself, always inherited a great squad of players and had endless funds to build.
Donât get me wrong I love guardiola and heâs def the best manager in the league, but you canât deny that they still have by far the best squad in the league too. Liverpool have already over performed this season to even be close to city

He was half right⊠had arsenal capitalised on their dominant first half
They shouldnât have laid a glove. Was in first gear first half and still shouldâve been 2-0 up at half time. Then just got worse no effort and let Villa win pretty much. Strange performance

Gents we should learn from this weekend that upsets and shock results do happen, this period is when the clubs have massive Champions league games and the squad has to be top line to handle this peroid. Simon called it last month saying Arsenal are bottlers and wouldn't win the league, but then flip flopped back and forth for no reason... Especially with Arsenal's remaining fixtures of course the bottlers would, wait for it... bottle it!
Simon bottled his own stance LOL.
Simon flips his position whenever there's a switch at top of the table
Everyone a bottler who doesnât win the title.
@hazmat7949
The only thing Simon flips faster is when heâs turning Jim over in the bedroom
Lacks the courage of his own convictions. He kept telling us Southgate wasn't capable of beating anyone internationally who we weren't expected to beat but then predicted England to beat France at the last WC anyway. đ
Nothing is ever over until it's mathematically over. The Horse that was leading the Grand National with SIX fences to jump did not win the Race until AFTER the final fence- Just like yesterday's results, anything can happen with 6 matches to play!
Simon makes me smile..it was Liverpool winning it a few weeks ago...then arsenal...now city...its been city all along for me
Jim, hates City, yet praises Wrexham, he has had a irony bypass.
Arsenal saw Liverpool lose and then with the knowledge that if they won they would go top bottled it. Still a lot of football to be played but all the Liverpool and arsenal fans have already thrown in the towel. Watching Liverpool fans leaving with 5 minutes to go was mwah..chefs kiss.
Does the club World Cup count for the previous season or this season and can it be used in a treble or quadruple?
Simon changes his mind, depending on which way the winds blowing

Bet it was Perry groves who text that to Jim. He hates anything said about his beloved arsenal and heâs straight on other teams when they lose
Both Arsenal and Liverpool not only choked they both BOTTLED IT.
Is the season finished? Is it?
Not what fans say but mathematically finished as in May 19th last game of the season finished? Ppl can have all the opinions they like but nothing is over till its over.
âYou wouldnât call Man City bottlers, because they arenât bottlersâ
Martin OâNeill 2024
There's never been a title race. The league is engineered for City to win it, and it was always certain to happen.
There is something that Pep does towards the finishing line every season which other managers cant put their fingers on he had learned a lot from his experience of finishing second in his first season lets not forget that on all this occasions he has gone deep into the Champions league .
Simon's predictions go back and forth more times than a Grandfather clock's pendulum. I bet he's wearing flip flops underneath his desk.
With Klopp going it would have a galvinising effect as long as they were winning, but if/when things went wrong the matter of him departing would have the opposite effect.
The pressure of the European club games is telling on both Arsenal and Liverpool
Pep knows how to finish a season. Arteta doesn't. Teacher vs student.
Easiest prediction ever
Bit to early....but they had a great weekend..... next game on Wednesday..
. If that goes well they have great things to come... they'll have a bit longer pauses than these last weeks
I repeat , when itâs unanimous by pundits that a certain team will win ( Arsenal this season) itâs the kiss of death.

Simon always looks like he's playing Candy Crush on his phone when he's not engage in the conversation
You really need to proofread. đđđ Itâs âSimon Jordan expectsâ đ
I donât see how Arsenal bottled it with 1 point ahead with a 10x harder fixture list. I saw it coming Arteta should never trust a striker with 4 goals when Havertz was actually performing. Then he shouldnât have trusted Zinchenko who always makes mistakes. He gets paid millions but just made the stupidest decision ever
We did enough to win the game in the first half.
Everyone can have an off day, no one expected both results yesterday! City can drop points yet its hard to see where. A simple message to Arsenal fans, don't sit there expecting, support your team. UTV

What amazing footballing wisdom from the great oracle Simon Jordan. What a brilliant football mind đ„đ„ Incredible insights, I am in awe as to how he came to that genius conclusion
Last few years been proof that 2018-20 were 3 freak seasons and now the 86-90 points seems to be the norm of old again. Everyone caught up with spending and outside investment
Simon Jordan is the best thing on TalkSport, heâs Box Office.
People are just ignorant to the fact that Liverpool look tired in the Palace game after a 3 nil Euro drubbing... and the same goes for Arsenal, the Bayern game was draining and then you have to play a top 4 Villa side who has already beaten you this season and then Arteta changes the side which breaks the rhythm and now damages our chances for the 2nd leg. He should never have changed the side for Villa!
Too close to call at this stage with only two points in it and half a dozen games to go. It would be a different call if Man City were 5 points clear at this stage. It only takes a loss or a couple of draws in those remaining games to turn everything on its head.
Arsenal apparently choke so what did Liverpool do?
Improved massively since last season. To be so close to Man City at this stage in the season isn't bad when you look at it without your Liverpool hate
@@PerfectMask1I donât have any Liverpool hate so I donât know how you came to that conclusion, if Arsenal canât win the title I want Liverpool to win it over City.
Crumbled
Choked, as always.
Talk about reactionary. Few weeks ago, it was being said that Liverpoolâs momentum was generated cause of Kloppâs announcement and now they are saying the announcement is whatâs caused the bad form.
If they actually watched the games then theyâd know itâs cause they miss a lot of chances and City have a better squad depth than Liverpool and Arsenal. Arsenal have no good replacements for like 7 of the starting 11 but city have 2 or 3 top 4 premier league players for every single position. Only simple minded people think itâs âbottling itâ
City have beat both villa and palace in the last 2 weeks scoring 4 both times so don't come that excuse that city have a easy run in......
The question they should be asking is why do City not bottle it while the other teams repeatedly do.
Basicaly every teams bottled it for the last 7 years pretty much bar liverpool one year in between and it aint stopping till guardiola gets bored of strolling to it and qll the domestic cups if hes up for it bar an off day every couple years. period. đŽ

City don't have the frailties because they abused FFP for years and can rotate players like De Bruyne. Arsenal can't rotate Odergaard (or Saliba last season); Liverpool can't rotate Van Dijk.
Its not just over yet, i still believe anyone can win it
Arsenalâ€â€
Liverpool on for Quadđ. Says a lot when O'Neill is voice of reason. People totally under valued what UCL experience means in a title race. City have been to UCL school; rotating squad (especially at back) is always seen as negative Pep knows its a must when flying around Europe & playing 60+ games a season.
When will Jimmy Boy be honoured as Sir James White?
Just last week, Simon Jordan was talking about why Arsenal will win the league, and I laughed. Arsenal win the league? Certainly not this season. đ
Liverpool losing actually put more pressure on Arsenal.I am gutted as a Liverpool but thats the way football goes. This was an enjoyable season .
Not really been very frustrating
As a city fan the league is not over yet, yes we have easier run but Brighton and Wolves are not easy games, Spurs will not be easy. Forest and Everton fighting for survival.
You spelled BUY as WIN !
Arteta rotated his team back to the one that stuttered its way through last year and got his back side handed to him. Iâm an Arsenal fan and in my opinion he is another pochettino. Nearly man.
I'll tell you now, City fans aren't celebrating. We know only too well that things can change in a heartbeat. There are still 6 games to go and both Liverpool and Arsenal will have played another two league games before we play our next one. Nothing ends until the last game, simple as that.
Arsenal is a great team with players that don't have the quality to carry the system through it's weaker moments... The system carries the players, not the other way around...
Does he now? Never saw this coming. Lad was adamant Arsenal would beat VillaâŠ..
I see Simon Jordan changed his tune from Arsenal to City
In my eyes Liverpool bottled harder, villa is a understandable upset in a title race than palace imo
City on the verge of back to back trebles. If they beat Real Madrid on Wednesday night then I don't see anybody else stopping them domestically or in Europe. And the dominance will continue for as long as the Sheikhs finance it and Pep stays about. The power of football in Manchester has firmly shifted to the blue half. Back to back trebles will confirm them as not only the greatest English side in history (which they already are) but also as one of the greatest club sides ever!
