I don't think there's one outstanding candidate out there that fits the following attributes (except Klopp) - serial winner, PL/Big club proven, has a track record of building successive teams and plays an attractive style of football. There's another underlying pre-requisite that your manager should have, fluent in english.

if you look at the United team performances week in week out, then the cold reality is that there's barely a sliver of superiority over Fulham, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and .... Chelsea, the way each are playing right now. Of course it's in the closed season where Man U pull away from the pack, with their spending power engaging top players (supposedly) for inflated prices .... On merit, currently 11th, I believe - but that doesn't tell the whole story.

Players first to go, they have survived far too long with mediocrity. United haven't been a title threat since Ferguson retired they are irrelevant in those terms. They have been out of the champions league as much as being in it.
