Why do so many pundits keep saying Firminio when the guy's name is Firmino?
Firminio sounds better. Rolls off the tongue better
That's what you took from that is it?đ
@@davidclifford4751 yeah
No player is immune from criticism, Salah has clearly been below his incredibly high standards since heâs come back from injury after the African Nations
@GIBBO4182
Liverpool brought him back from injury far too quickly. People already forget they brought him back a month after getting injured with Egypt at AFCON. He played 45 minutes against Brentford in February and scored a goal and had an assist. But he re-aggravated his hamstring and was out for another month again. Just goes to show that a lot of these teams tend to rush players back far too quickly instead of letting them properly heal. Salah has been straight up stretching his hamstring during the past few games during the middle of games if you watch him closely. Itâs clearly still bothering him and Liverpool messed up bringing him back too early. Just like City did with De Bruyne and his hamstring. Who eventually had to sit out a full five months because City kept rushing him back and not letting him fully heal. Salah is very likely nowhere near fully fit.
@@Photosoflife wow! We agree again đ€Ł Yeah, theyâre both the wrong side of 30, and muscle injuries, especially hamstrings, are notorious for reoccurring if not treated properly, they both just needed more time to recover in the first place
@@GIBBO4182 Yep, stakes are high for both clubs. But they messed up speeding them both back from injury. Particularly Salah because heâs not only a quick player but has virtually been injury free since Ramos messed up his shoulder in the Champions League final years ago. Players like Salah with limited injury records very often rush back too quickly because they arenât used to being injured and hampered by it. It becomes as much a mental battle as a physical one because they are so not used to it. Bottom line is Salah was ripping it up and nearly leading the league in both goals and assists when he went to AFCON in January. He did not just suddenly become a terrible player overnight. Too many people arenât realizing his hamstring has very likely impacted him the past 10 games much more than people realize. His movement looks all off now if you watch him closely and itâs not hard to put two and two together. But that doesnât sell well in the media.
Still undroppable, crunch time in season and you are not playing your best player/legend who gives you the highest chance to win a game
@@datemike1184 but does he at the moment? Liverpool were winning games without him just fine earlier in the season
From what I can see, heâs missed 13 games through African Nations and injury, and Liverpool have 11 wins, 1 draw & 1 loss, and that loss was to Arsenal
The last 8 games in the league theyâve only got 3 wins, and in that same time theyâve gone out of Europe and lost to Man Utd in the FA cup as well
Wonder if they draw straws on talksport for who gets one side of an argument and who gets the other.
The track they started off with..đ
Benty talking out of his hoop for 17 minutes solid is quite impressive.
An off form Salah is far much better all other Liverpool strikers combined.
Darren and Andy are hilarious đ great show guys.
That tune they started off with...đ
Undroppable in a must win game 100% fact Elliot right wing do me a favour funny how people criticise mo up to January he was awesome heâs playing himself back into form
He's played himself out of the team. He's had lots of starts and done very poorly. The more he plays, the worst its gotten. A rest will do him good.
Andy Goldstein is the Poundland Tim Lovejoy.
Bargain bin more like!

And yet here you are watching ffs
@@brendashanahan8968Iâm watching Darren đ€·ââïž

Salah deserves to be dropped if the manager thinks someone else is in better form.
Exactly. Mo has been absolutely terrible in the past ten games.
No wonder Bent isn't in management. You're not in the team cause of who you are. You're in the team cause you're the player in form in that position . And the manager decides who'll gives him the best chance of winning.
@John-qn2fd
Salah was rushed back far too quickly from his hamstring injury. People already forget Liverpool brought him back only a month after his AFCON injury. He played 45 minutes against Brentford and scored a goal and had an assist. But he reinjured his hamstring in that game and was out another month. Heâs been visibly stretching his hamstring during games if you actually watch him closely. Liverpool brought him back far too quickly. Heâs nowhere near fully fit. Something people are very conveniently overlooking.
So who is actually in better form?
No wonder former English players are so bad at management. With this kind of reasoning of Bent it will take along time for one too be successful
Drop your best player that made Liverpool the club that it is because he was upset that he didn't start. Good thing you're not in management AT ALL.
Salah knows he can take liberties with Klopp because Klopp is leaving
Exactly
Kopp doesn't want to leave and Salah stays so he doesn't get exposed! So he tried to wind him up so he leaves the team by end of the season.
De bruyne didnât play the first leg against Madrid because he was ill. He wasnât left out
I think what annoyed Salah was that he was asked to warm up at minute 35 and played him at minute 78!
So??? Maybe salah should apply for the role of Liverpool manager if he wants to be the boss..
He's not the boss, Klopp is. If Salah wanted to prove a point then he should have done so on the pitch.
No he's annoyed by Nunez and Diaz always starting and they can't hit a barn door. The game is in the balance and you're not starting your best goal scorer
LOL đ
â@@gooner4life518salah has been similar to both for a month or so now. But nunez and diaz cause chaos.. salah doesn't.. he looks gone tbh
I totally get the point of Salahâs attitude but it looked to me like Klopp was asking Salah to produce something given only possibly 10mins to do so. Thatâs abit cheeky as Salah would be thinking if he had 90mins Klopp wouldnât have to say this.
The reason why Modric and Kroos are still at Madrid is because they accept getting dropped.
If Salah''s ego is too big then move him on
I don't think they would of accepted it much at 31 lol
Steve's a ledge!
At the crunch part of the season, Salah dries up. Happens in CL finals too. You can't select on past reputation, has to be on merit.
Afcon finals too
Except for the Champions League final where he scored to give Liverpool a sixth European cup.
@@youtubedislikes3756 it was a pen, ya balloon made by ManĂ©. How many title run ins and finals has he been a no show? Many more than your one pen example. Delusional Top Red đđđż
@@youtubedislikes3756was that from the penalty spot?
@@bobsocks7575 if Saka and Kane were able to score from penalty spots when the pressure is on Arsenal would probably be EPL defending champions and England would have probably won the Euros.
He didn't start against Fulham two games ago and we played a great game. He starts against Everton and plays poor. I can understand the reason behind not picking him against west ham.
Salah is going downhill. Premier League is very tough. Salah is getting older
Probably more about the injury hes been poor ever since
Possibly. Aubameyang went downhill same age and problems started. Speaking as Arsenal fan
@@ps5andstuffhereAubameyang was nowhere near SalahÂŽs level and Iam Arsenal fan also. Very different players, but Salah was unreal from 2017 to early 2022.
Both Golden Boot winners in same season. Not talking about levels. Just looks pretty similar situation. Aubameyang was in a weaker team also don't forget
@@ps5andstuffherewell I can hear you bro, but what makes Salah better player for me is his workrate⊠AubameyangŽs was almost non existent⊠great player, but Salah is one step ahead of him
It's down to the manager and if any player is out of form the manager as to do what is right for the club on the day.
Itâs not often I say this but Iâm with Goldstein on this one.
No player bigger than the club, and Salah has not been on it
There is so much BS in the comment sections. So much.... The manager stated it has been addressed. Let's Move On
Nice come back from Bent to talk abt Ten Hag
Simple the boss salah has been pony this season doesnt deserve an automatic starting spot
Yes he does. Harvey Elliot is not in form either so he's 100% not better than Salah.
No one is undropable no ones bigger than the team u have a do with any manager ull be lucky too start the next game
Bent is wrong here; no player is above the manager. Salah has been inconsistent recently.
Andyâs right on both arguments
Can we all just admit Klopp obviously knows Salah is an amazing player and knows that he can bounce back from his poor run of form. And he still decided to not start him. One week we say hes a genius and the next we all think we are geniuses bc we think salah shouldâve started
well darren bent actually contradicts his own point here if you listen to this because julian alvarez is not first choice for city erling haaland is yet pep left haaland on the bench at the weekend and haaland is the top scorer in the prem yet pep leaves him out he comes on he scores not an issue đ€ the point is of course klopp has the right to leave mo salah out if he wants to just like pep did with haaland and when he says about play your best team regarding the title well the title had long gone before this match vs west ham even started so it didnt really matter what team klopp played re the the title because of the result in the last match vs everton it was done when they beat us and mo salah was playing in that match I mean to be fair he was injured when he came back from afcon and he aint quite been at his best level since then he is however still liverpool top scorer this season actually đ€ I certainly do not put liverpool bad form all on mo salah tho myself other players are allowed to step up to the plate they have not it is what it isđ€Ł
I am confused. Salah hasn't played well since he returned from the African Club of Nations. Not that I am choosing sides, but he has played so bad.
Respect is a two way street !
Managers donât get to treat players however they please and then hide behind respect
They're the boss. If players want to make a point then they should do so on the pitch.
One moment Darren says Klopp is right but this but that, he should play Salah but this but that. All over the shop having a bit each way. Annoying to listen to that sort of debating.
Bent is really showiny why he became a pundit and not a manager đ
Well it hasn't worked out playing him week in week out he has done nothing.Darren Bent argument is a non starter because he has picked him and they haven't won the league.
Itâs ironic Klopp says players play far too much
Then him and salah argue over not playing enough lol
any lfc fan who wants salah to go is alunatic
Bent got some Southgate mentality lol
There's a story going around that since Jurgen joined liverpool fc .he's had bust ups with 7 of his players and yes they all left..
The ten hag ronaldo thing
Absolutely ten hag was in the wrong.
Ronaldo was literally the number 1 scorer the previous season, and a football legend.
He got scapegoated, and man utd still did nothing special. The problem was never ronaldo, or âthe managerâ that club is just a lazy , toxic , cesspit đ
NO ONE KNEW WHAT KLOPP SAID TO SALAH, THERES A TIME AND PLACE, At no point did Salah seemingly didnât want to get on the pitch
Donât forget, every single Liverpool player according to their fans is a legend.
@fazza______342
Salah is the 5th all time scorer at Liverpool and has 210 goals and 88 assists for Liverpool in 346 matches for the club. He is definitely a club legend, no question about it.
I don't theres too much in it, mo salah has recently been growing his own chilies and drinking parafin and if he spoke, it would have been fire.
Klopp said to him on the touchline "hey Mo, did you save me some chili?"
When Mo Salah turned around to him with his arms out to his side aghast and exclaimed "what chillies, you're not even gettin any parafin?" đ€·ââïž
The title challenge was already finished. Before that game, Liverpool winning or not mattered little.
Salah was in the Everton and Crystal Palace games. That was when he should've done something. It didn't happen, getting dropped for a game with no meaning. Who cares?
Darren, that 6 games have dismantled Liverpools entire title challenge
What is this with Salah? Klopps job is to get the team winning & the only way, is to get the other team thinking what is going on? So we went with a different dynamic, now thatâs down to Klopp to make that work. Itâs LFC only!
No player is undroppable, no player is bigger than the club. Any player that thinks they are needs to be shown the door.
I like Darren but heâs miles off here, if your recent form has been poor which Salahâs has been, the manager is well within his rights to change the team and drop someone, you as the player has to take it on the chin and put the needs of the team before your own.
Anything said before the word but means bugger all. Klopps in the right but....there is no but. He's the manager you don't react like that as a player. So out of character for Salah đ
When they favoritzed salah over mane but they still got "deep deep" issues. đđđ đ đ
To Salah's credit, at least he hasn't gone to a weaker league, flopped, punched his teammate, gotten kicked out the country and sent to play semi professionally in the Saudi league at this point.
And they were still right to do so.
@@danielward7008 haha. Seams like its gone no where. What trophy they won since mane and fermino departure?
@@ozoneA6 Irrelevant. Both players are playing in the Saudi retirement league nowadays which proves my point.
@@danielward7008 say what you want, but mane and fermino were the stars of liverpool. Not salah. But time proves it now i guessđ€Łđ„±
Henderson doesn't get enough respect he was amazing for about 6 years and one of the best captains I've ever seen in the league. Goldstein has a terrible opinion on utd Liverpool an everything elseđ
Ten Hag was in wrong publicing Sancho Klopp on the other hand has done nothing of the sort regarding Salah and has kept it in Anfield house YNWA

Wrong look for such a club
Bent is like a broken record.
How do u get your best (world class) player into form....YOU BLOODY WELL PLAY HIM IN THE BIGGEST GAMES!
Klop missed the problem in defense. Somehow he missed the fact that Liverpool are leaking goals like a sieve, and no blame on the keeper. It's the twin donkeys of konate and van dijk
I go every game and Mo is not playing well end off đ€·ââïž
Rashy plays every game
Everyone needs to calm down. Is this the first time youâve seen a player and a manager argue over mins? Salah is wrong. But to claim things are wrong at Liverpool bc of that is silly. Salah has been poor and is of course upset he is starting. We will still be okay next year
Benty always on the wrong side of history
Bent just thinks in terms of goals
That's what the game is
@@sherifnabil50 so why a goalkeeper plus defender's and midfielders but I get your point
Klopp should be dropped for playing Salah as a number 10, he's better out wide.
Is there actually any scouse Liverpool fans Iâve never heard one phone in
I found Mo Salahs statement somewhat disturbing. Perhaps his bag and locker should be checked for everyones safety. Its best he goes to Saudi Arabia.
Mi5 are on it.
Its Liverpool, his lockers alreafy been robbed by the natives đđđ

Its ok to not be happy about being dropped. But do not throw a tantrum.. that is the actions of a coward
Since the African Cup Salah has not played well. He needed dropping
Bent is an absolute clown here. No player is un droppable. No one. Not even Maradona, Messi or Ronaldo.
Well, you drop those players at tour own peril⊠because if itâs costs your team points or trophies⊠these same media and fans would come for you, plus you just disrespected a high value player. Doesnât look too good when youâre at the disadvantage. Klopp wouldnât try this if he wasnât done with Liverpool already.
