The argument JT is saying is you don’t work this hard to get the same rewards as youth players

AVB came in with arrogance, thinking he was the next Mourinho, and wanted to cast aside the experienced spine of the team. It was hard to find a player in that squad who was not serious captain material. I don't think there's ever been a squad with more captains in it. They did manage themselves a lot, and their attitude was justified when they went on to win the FA Cup and UCL two or three months after AVB was sacked, and replaced by a P.E. teacher (with all due love and respect to the legend Di Matteo). Big fan of Martin, but he's never had a dressing room as mentally strong as that in his career. He can't relate to the context of the situation.

A manager is a manager whether you agree with them or not.
