If Rashford goes and Palmer doesn't, then everything most people say about Southgate is true. Rashford has been a lazy shambles this season.
I cant even imagine a scenario where Southgate did that, đ it would be the funniest most shocking decision ever.
Southgate wonât leave Palmer out, heâs got the stats and the press coverage to make that decision for Southgate, now will he give him any meaningful minutes on the pitch is a totally different question

Gotta realised it's a 23 man squad so 3 keepers, 7 defenders, 6 midfielders and 7 forwards. My forwards would be based on form and fitness. Bowen, Kane, Solanke, Watkins, Saka, Palmer and Foden. Grealish/Gordon/Sterling just miss out for me.

@KingJaffeJoffer99 foden starts though for me and Solanke is a brilliant back up to have in case Kane/Watkins get injured. Maddison would play out wide if needs be. I'm confident Foden will be fine though. I agree if you think Gordon should go tho, I'd full back it if he went to the Euros even over Bowen.

Yea I'd have to take Gordon, just for the difference he'll bring being right footed. Having foden palmer and saka behind Kane, sounds great, but there might be a game you need someone more direct on the left
@KingJaffeJoffer99 I'd go with the front 4 in the world cup. All of them are in brilliant form anyway. Bellingham as the 10. Yeah, Maddison is in my 6 midfielders. My other 5 are Rice, Bellingham, Mainoo, Ward Prowse and Loftus Cheek. England like to play with their full backs flowing too and I'd go with Trippier at left back. Spinnazola was brilliant for Italy in the euros.

That's a good thing actually, you can't just pick and choose based on form because the players need to either have the quality or in Rashford's case, have a clear cut spot in the national squad.

Even Harvey Barnes. If you actually watch Barnes and Rashford, their performances are night and day. Rashfordâs effort on the pitch is embarrassing and his behavior should not be rewarded.

Harvey Barnes. Heâs a gem that a lot of people forget about. Particular this year because he was injured for a lot off he season. But he looks very good for Newcastle right now. Based on actual performances, he should be on the plane over Rashford by far.

Harvey Barnes should be going over Rashford at this point based on actual performances. I watch Rashford each week and his basic lack of effort is downright embarrassing. He shouldnât even be starting for United at this point and canât complete a simple 5 yard pass.

7:35 Once again, somebody claims Rashford had a good or great season last season, so I will have to once again point out that, in terms of performances, he didn't have a good season!
His scoring figures looked good but in terms of performances, he was poor in all but a couple of games before the World Cup, then played well for most of the next two months(mostly in cup games) and then had a terrible last three months of the season and has been even worse since.
People have got the impression that Southgate loves Rashford so much that he always starts him but that just isn't true.
Yes, he's nearly always put him in the squad but in the four major tournaments Rashford's been to, he's only started two games in total and one of those was a dead rubber and he's only started six England games since the middle of October 2020 and just five since June 2021!
I really don't think Southgate will take him if everyone is fit.

Palmer wasn't gonna struggle for game time if he stayed at City. City bought Doku because he left. Both Palmer and Pep have said that this Palmer was promised game time this season. He wanted a loan out. He was told stay and play or leave and he chose to leave.

Foden needs to start in the 10, Palmer off the right and Jude in the 8. Judeâs strength and ball carrying ability is maximised from deep. This gets Fonden into the centre of the pitch where he has that uncanny ability to score from the edge of the D.
