It shows you how much a player can change and massively improve when you move him to his best position, I'm glad that Arteta adapted his own plan to put Havertz where he's most effective.
He has 0.68 goal involvements per 90 minutes which isn't bad considering he played in midfield for pretty much all of 2023.

I’m still doubting him. He’s our st and he only has 12 goals. Even Dominic solanke has more goal. And don’t tell me it’s cause he’s a false 9 cause even Bellingham scores as midfielder. If you saw Kai at Leverkusen you could’ve seen what I’m talking about

    I said 7months ago
The only position Havertz has to play is the striker.
    Jesus been poor.
Arsenal need to play Partey as DMC.
As Rice is an upgrade from Xhaka.
    Havertz is not a midfielder
Rice can offer a lot more in midfield than playing as the DMC.
    If Arteta started
    Jorginho as DMC
    Rice as number 6
    Havertz as striker.
Arsenal would have 85-86 point now

Isn't this exactly what we've been doing for the duration of 2024? Jorginho at 6 is good for the big games but against worse/more transitional teams he gets exposed. Rice being good in both positions gives us great flexibility and that's not a weakness.

    • @poolfans
      @poolfans Před 16 dny +1

@@benmackay3573 Yes. It was the defeat at Fulham and Westham and drop point a few games earlier in the season all when Havertez play at midfield
      Rice as number 6.
Unless you have great options then yes Rice can play 6.
      To me
Partey is very important and very good player for Arsenal.
A shock when Arteta played him as right back earlier in the season

To everyone complaining that Arsenal scored after a potential penalty, think of it this way.... if the spurs players concentrated on what was happening rather than crying to the ref they should get a penalty then saka probably wouldn't have been so unmarked
