I was skeptical about the idea at first, but now I think we're definitely going to get some kind of show about the clones during the rise of the empire. There are simply too many unresolved plot threads at this point. I hope it follows Rex's clone resistance since the episodes with Rex were among the best episodes of The Bad Batch.
And we have no idea what commander Cody did. Where did he go when he last saw crosshair?

What I think is omega and the other kids are all going to control the zilo beast with the force and use it to break out the same way she watched ventress use the force to control a animal

I would bet Omega and the older kids have a hard time to tame and the only one who managed it would be the baby, to which the Zillo beat would experience something it never had in its life, the love and warmth of a loving parent
My theory is that the Bad Batch will end off with a shocking cliffhanger. Most of the squad (except Echo and Omega) will get captured and become experimental prisoners. Echo and Omega will manage to escape with the rest of squad sacrificing themselves getting captured. Near the end, Hemlock will introduce the Bad Batch to their thought to be dead brother, Tech. This would explain how the Empire created its own version of clone force 99. At the very end, Echo and Omega will meet up with Rex near the end of the episode and Dave Filoni will possibly leave us on a cliffhanger of a upcoming new series about Rex's story. A series about Rex will most likely be the last series to explain everything that happened during the Republic's transitioning into the Empire. Overall, I think the Bad Batch will end how the Ashoka series ended, with a cliffhanger.
That would be an emotional cliffhanger to be sure and pretty much every Dave filoni product has ended with some sort of emotional cliffhanger. At this point it's a given

I truly do believe we need more minutes in our Star Wars--ESPECIALLY animated. The suggestions from Theory and other fans of 40 minutes to even an solid hour moving forward is perfection. We need more Walking Dead/Game of Thrones style episodes--in terms of consistent, average runtime. I could never get enough of this beautiful and epic storytelling and a solid hour per week would quench that endless thirst for most of us, I feel. Especially if we're gonna wait a whole ass WEEK for this bruh! It would also give the writers more room and time to actually properly flesh out the story and bring it to even greater (and better) heights. Never hurts to introduce & fill out more storylines and there's always room for improvement everywhere! I've truly been loving animated Star Wars and most of live action TV Star Wars, but Star Wars as a whole on TV really, REALLY could benefit from SIGNIFICANT runtime increases all around!
Storytellers might think this is a good idea. Whereas Budget and Animators are crying in pain. It would be so nice if there would be an endless stream of high quality star wars content releasing every week, but it also would be nice if someone would transfer a million dollar every week into my bank account. Unfortunately I guess both is quite unlikely to happen soon 😢
As much as I would love longer runtime, we would just have to hear even more whining about filler. These days peoples' attention span is so short, if they don't tell the entire story in under an hour they will whine about it incessantly. I'm not saying we need filler for the sake of runtime but it's still so annoying
I don't think the extra run time should be forced. It should tell me everything it wants to tell and that's it.
@Lord_Arcann I'm with that, but I don't mind longer run times if there's story to tell. I enjoyed the slow burn of Andor as much as I enjoyed tales of the Jedi. It just bugs me that people complain about filler when half of the clone wars series could be argued as such, yet it's widely regarded as some of the best star wars outside of the OT/PQ (and it is).
We got sudden development of Echo this season in opposite to Crosshair whose development is going all seasons. You know what it means. Echo will die in sacrificial way like Tech did. His whole character always has been about sacrifice for his brothers.
TBH, what development? He's barely been in this season and has spent most of his time with rex. The most screentime he's had has been the past two episodes and it's mostly just him infiltrating
@@Cogz Development is still development. He get rid of bad batch marks and his backhead computer and got a hand. He's about to free all clones from Tantiss, do a revolution movement. He looks more human than before. Tech was ignored the same way in season 1 and 2, he got sudden development in episodes right before his death.
@@LukiKruki Those are aesthetic changes that don't have deeper meanings other than adapting to the needs of the mission. The team removed their markings to become less identifiable and to stick out less like spec ops as what they are doing is mostly infiltrating. He attached a hand to stick out less as a TK Trooper. This is all for the mission. There's been no actual "character" development in season 3 as he's only been in 5 episodes, including next week's finale and the most he's done has been giving exposition as dialogue, being a pilot, and done infiltrating on his own.
Echo had more development in Season 1 and 2 through the bare minimum of lines and what little focus they decided to give to him. In "Cut and Run" he fully realizes that he is now a deserter in a small exchange with Tech and it does not sit well with him due to his facial expressions. In "Reunion" Echo makes a point at least twice that they are ultimately soldiers, not arms smugglers/mercenaries. In 'War Mantle" Echo is shown to still be very loyal to Rex and pushes the point to save Gregor like the Batch did for him. He is loyal to his clone brothers as a whole. In the season 2 premiere, Echo now pushes that they should be doing more, such as fighting the Empire. He's never liked doing the Cid missions which is why he leaves the Batch and joins Rex to save the Clones in the middle of season 2. That and he trains Omega to be a soldier. Really after he leaves the batch, his character development stops as he's now where he feels he needs to be.

Classic media trope, where if you don’t see a dead body that means the character had a fake out death and is still alive
Maul got cut in half and came back. Ventress died and came back. Reva got stabbed twice and survived. No one dies in Star Wars.
@@Enigma75614 Maul is a Sith - a particularly angry one at that. Ventress was also a former Sith, and, had Talzin's "essence" to aid her (its also hinted in the book that she wasnt truly dead). Reva, I agree is bullshit, but, you could make the argument that she was stabbed in a nonlethal area (whatever). Tech, though, is incomparable to these 3. He doesn't have any connection to the Force, doesn't know how to use magic, and fell thousands of feet, wearing nothing but his armor. I think its impossible for him to survive, no matter how they spin it.

What's up with your Crosshair switch, man? Crosshair lost his chip when Star Destroyer engine blasted into his head, burning down the part where his chip was. He explicitly said in the finale of season 1 he lost his chip and he still was going to work with Empire (till Mayday episode of season 2).

I don't think there was a hidden meaning to Rampart's comment about Crosshair; Rampart simply doubts Crosshair really changed. Also, I seriously doubt that Clone-X is Tech, as he would have known were the Bad Batch were hiding much earlier, and the reveal probably would have already happened. Furthermore, I don't see Omega riding the Zillo Beast out of Tantiss; more likely, she'll just set it free and it'll rampage while the kids try to escape.

With websites coming forward saying the finale will only be 25 minutes, I really hope the ending will have dark reveals and moments. We still haven’t seen other results to the clones being experimented on Tantiss besides the assassins. Still don’t know what really happened to Cody or Tech. Kinda feels like they’re gearing the show to end on an upbeat note where everyone makes it out alive
The part of the vault where the kids are reminds me of a room out of Portal, even the tiles Omega removes and when she goes behind the walls, it looks like something out of Portal.
Rampart's scream when they dropped down the ship was the most realistic scream i've ever heard in any show.
I really hope echo doesnt die, he has been through enough and has barely gotten any screentime this season i think it would be cool (but unlikely) for disney to create a show set after the bad batch where echo and omega are the only survivors from the finale where echo and ventress work together to raise omega whilst hiding from the empire both teaching her valuable lessons from each of their difficult pasts. this would aslo explain why he is not in rebels.

@@anthonyarmento1349 Current speculation is that there may be a sequel to Bad Batch or a series that shows the early ‘rebel cell’ of Rexs group during this era which will cover all the other plots. I think what we will see is Bad Batch’s story be told but I think any other further reaching plots won’t get ultimate conclusions in the finale. Hoping I am wrong though because it would be sad to see it with an underwhelming ending.
I think I know how this will end:
The Bad Batch kills the Zillo Beast, but all of them (except Omega) get killed by Darth Vader.

Echo was The MVP of This Episode He showed everyone why He's The GOAT and One of My Personal Favorite Clones! When He Finally got a Hand, I was So Happy! And then That Scene at The End with Echo and Emerie was So Great! Echo being the one to tell Her that She should be fighting for All The Clones was Perfect because He's has been through a lot but He's always been Fighting For His Brothers. This Episode set The Stage Perfectly for The Finale! I can't believe there's only One Episode Left! I Love This Show and These Characters SO Much and This Season has been Absolutely Phenomenal and I don't want it to End. But, It looks like it's going to go out with a bang and I'M SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!! FORRRRRR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!
I dont think that the assassin will be Tech. Didnt they put his goggles on that shelf on the island a few episodes ago? To me this would indicate that they went back and buried his body or something. I havent gone back and rewatched that episode in a while so maybe im missing something.
I still want to hope that with Emerie's help, Echo can send a signal to Rex and the others and bring the cavalry, like the Martez sister, Commander Cody, and Commander Wolffe and his men from Teth!!!
My take on Rampart's comment to Crosshair is that actual Crosshair is CX2, unchanged and controlled by the Empire, and the Crosshair in the squad is a clone of original Crosshair who hadn't been reprogrammed yet.
This would be an 11/10 plot twist, hopefully!
honestly at this point is it possible we have been looking at this wrong the whole time and they wont all die... what if theres gonna be a clone spin off that hasnt been announced yet with rex and his crew since they clearly wont be in the finale and im sure we arent done seeing them

I thought the clone was assassin clone was tech, but I’m really thinking it’s Cody now, why have that arc in season 2 with him struggling with the empire and then crosshairs being told he deserted or went rogue or whatever they said and never show him again? I have feelings that Zilo beast's chaos will be similar as Maul's chaos. So my prediction, clones will die due to it. But of course. Pappy Palpatine maybe will send Vader. So I see it as big epic battle

I think if she appears in the episode, it will be in the end where she takes Omega with her. That is if Omega awakens some Force sensitivity (with the Zillo Beast anyway). But I think even those Jedi children are able to establish connection with the Zillo Beast.

I really like this show because the protagonists in this story actually feel mortal. Basically they’re not completely OP and can actually loose against more skilled opponents. The steaks feel higher knowing they can’t use the force, other than maybe Omega, or they also don’t have impenetrable beskar armor. Each character has a strong personality and well developed character arc. It’s bitter sweet seeing this show come to an end.
I want a 4k physical copy of this season. The visuals of this season were dope. Crosshair has now become one of my favorite animated Star Wars characters. Although I wouldn't mind if they got the rogue one ending equivalent. For example, they destroy tantis, but none of them make it out.
I think Rampart will betray the bad batch and kill either crosshair, hunter, or omega.
That moment you relaize theory's breakdowns are more interesting than the show itself...

I'm so glad I took next Wednesday off for work. No way I'm going to be able to avoid spoilers before I get home. I can't wait to watch the zilo beast tear up tantiss. It's pretty much a given at this point.

So... Bad Batch gonna end with Asajj taking Omega as her aprentice and whats left from BB ends up as mercs.
At This point with just a 22min episode left there is no way the Shadow Clone is Tech. Just not enough time to flesh that out as well as show all the rescues and escapes. I'm also bummed there will be no real Clone Uprising. Unless that will take place on a different animated show down the road. There is literally no time for anything but Omegas rescue...pretty letdown by this but oh well

My belief is assassin clone is Cody still because in rebels ep when rex is waking up from being knocked out he starts apologizing to Cody and other clones so we know something bad happened to him
Was Tech a sharpshooter like Crosshair? Cuz that dark clone guyo sure was. That's why I doubt it is Tech. Don't forget Theory was pretty confident that big droid in Obi-wan Kenobi was Wrecker and he was just what he was.
With only one episode to go, there are many more stories that could be told. Its sad they finished, unless going in another direction (under another name) the story continues with Omega and the children (if they survive) when they are maybe 5-10 years older, she would be their leader for sure.. thats my thoughts..
I highly doubt Mount Tantiss gets destroyed. Plus, there's a second mountain. Setting up for Thrawn.

I hate the tech thaory because i immediately thought that in the first episode with thst particular assassin.
No way will Crosshair turn, tech is dead, The zillo beast will reek havoc and Omega will save the day including all the clones and the kids, but she will lose some of her brothers, most probably Wrecker and Crosshair.

I'm not familiar with legends or any other sources of content besides the shows and movies, so I don't know what Tantiss' fate is. I was wondering if the planet's coordinates were in the base at all or if Tantiss gets attacked later on by some rebel forces? I'd like to know what happens to the base at the end of the empire.
