I hate the Yankees and I dislike ARod but I do enjoy seeing him play. As far as I'm concerned, he has(had) the best power swing in baseball. Every at-bat of his was a joy to watch, irrespective of whether he got a hit or not.

People may say steroids made him but steroids is physical and someone who knows baseball, knows that baseball is mainly mental and to say the truth Alex is greatest hitter of this era. I'm not saying cheating is good, I don't like cheaters but you gotta give credit where credit is due. Alex also has been a great hitter this year.
Agreed. Alex was a #1 draft pick and has always been an elite hitter ever since the mid-1990's. Anyone with some dose of baseball knowledge should know that juicing up is not enough to put up numbers like Arod did. Arod's hitting talent, workout regime along with his very high baseball IQ is what made him very successful.
Its a shame such and outstanding ball player ruined his legacy taking somthing he clearly did not need. I grew up watching this man, the best player i have ever watched. its a shame he took peds somthing he did not need. we saw what a beast he was coming into sea.
