Forever my childhood hero not only for baseball but for life and business. Just got his jersey for my 18th birthday today. The way he’s holding himself now and the maturity he’s showing for such a controversial career is an inspiration. His career shouldn’t be frowned upon, rather looked at as someone who made costly mistakes but didn’t dwell, moved on and is still living life to the fullest.
A-Roid was a tremendous talent and that swing majestic. I saw him many times come up short in crucial moments as a Yankee but if it wasn't for Mr. Rodriguez in 2009 the Yankees don't win the title. Excellent baseball analyst on TV now. At one time my favorite player but the lying, roids and strikeouts in critical moments turned me off late in his career. Had he possesse the clutch gene he would've won at least two more rings. All in all, an amazing first ballot Hall of Famer even with the roids. See ya on TV thanks for the 2009 title and was wowed by his upper deck shot I witnessed live at Yankee Stadium
What a monster, just 18 playing on the big leagues. Just saying, if he were grow up in Dominican Republic probably at 17 even on 16 he will be playing on the Big league's without any doubts.
Say what you want about that man... but everyone makes mistakes in life and it’s not about the mistakes you make it’s about how you come back from them... and A-Rod showed his true colors in his last few years as a yankee... it was really beautiful
The Screwball documentary on Netflix brought me here. I grew up looking up to players like A Rod but once I found out what he'd been doing to be able to achieve some of the things he did, it just changed my whole perspective on things.....
TATEHUAX i watched Arods whole career in his prime he was more productive then any player today and was 5 tool. It kinda sucks he tainted his career taking something he didn’t need the man was naturally gifted. Mike trout is amazing I love watching him play but as good as he is It shows how special Arod is to be able to say in his prime he batted higher, hit more hrs, would drive and score more runs then Trout. That’s kinda crazy cuz ppl forget but Alex was a machine but i don’t really like to debate it because a lot of ppl who aren’t as knowledgeable playing baseball right away discredit his talent which sucks but hey he did it to himself.
TATEHUAX I believe he took it with Texas and later years with yankees. But we will never know. The man was a 300+ hitter in his prime excellent on defense. His technique at the plate was something else. His work ethic was crazy aswell I don’t doubt in my mind with or without he was in his prime better then anyone in the game today but we’ll never know. But I grew up watching young Alex and Pujols in there prime were more dangerous at the plate then any moderen day player in my opinion. Pujols we know is clean so his stats easily prove it but Arods are tainted
I love a rod and as a diehard Yankees fan we really fucked him. We knew damn well we weren't getting that 2nd wild card and made him retire early. Makes me wonder how much they were gonna pay him if he hit 700

Jason Jusino that’s a really fair assessment
He’s my favorite player of all time
Alex Rodriguez is a best ever
man..that intro had me tearing. if the stupid media stopped haggling A-rod...he would of played a few more years. to just stop at 696..kind of sad.
Jolo Angel mind boggling not getting 700
Very sad :(
It was smart of him not to get 700 since people knew he was cheating he would get destroyed
you were the best AROD

RadioPlayer 76 He's one hell of a ball player and 700 homers just makes it even better. Still had an amazing career and will be remembered forever.

The only thing I would have changed with this video is the background music to a more hip hop like one

Mariners could of did some great things together
goodbye AROD
LOL and his first hit was VS the Red Sucks😂
the umpire in the game @ 5:35 was a dumb as a rock lol. no shot he didn't intentionally throw at him 4 times in a row right? lol come on
The heavy metal music doesn’t fit with Arod.
Is just sad that he was involved in that 💉 shit..
I came here for a A-Rod highlights not shitty rock music
Music sucks…why not lavida loca…love A-Rod tho
Weird how you would include 4:10 as a highlight. I guess thats probably the least amount of cheating he's done in his career though.
Ugh stupid music ruined this
