I went from A-Rod being my favorite active player, to not being a fan of his at all from the way the steroid mess was handled by him! then gaining an all new respect for how he humbled himself and came back and played when he could have easily retired, and was never heard from or seen again. I thought he took his lumps and came out of it pretty good, and I even like his game commentary now. It couldn’t have been easy to come back when the world hated him the way they(rightfully) did. And love him or hate him, he’s one of the all time great players!

PED can give you an edge on the power, but don't give you plate discipline, contact, or a better fielding glove, he used it in a time when everyone was doing it, but he was the best of all of the MLB in a long time, I think a lot of years must go by to find a baseball player like he was.

Idk if we’ll ever see another arod just like idk if we’ll ever see another Barry bonds. Arod was an elite fielder at shortstops and third base and and one of the greatest hitters to ever step in a batters box. Closest thing I’ve seen is Tatis hitting wise but his fielding definitely not on par
