I think he was trying to say that whatever fed work he did, he atleast needed to know a little bit about what is needed in a case I mean what’s considered valuable condemning evidence so that they would have the right people the techs and evidence people do their tests and such to get the right stuff to bring to the prosecutor to be able to hold a case together. They probably have learned over the years upon hearing the prosecutor say what they need if this case isn’t strong enough to bring back before the prosecutor was able to convict. Things like that is common with most professions, you pick up a few things. You’re not smart as the certified person and in this situation the prosecutor but you know at the very least what would bring a strong conviction vs what could potentially be thrown out….. if that was his official job role (around 1:20:00)
