That comment of suing the lab, was on the fly. There's no talk of suing the lab. I've been watching a Wada webinar 🤓 and Conor's claims are seemingly less credible then even I first thought. It's a lot more complex and not just a case of sticking a dipstick into test pot A and seeing if it's positive or negative. First there's not one analytical method that fits all prohibited substances. So a lab will distribute the sample into subsamples that are called electrodes so that they can cover the full menu of prohibited substances.
What he's saying is that the contamination was probably down to human error. However, once that mistake was made the lab tried to cover their tracks by concealing information. So two statements can legitimately be used
He also said his first thoughts were that it may be contaminated which is reasonable
Failing a drug test is a great way to avoid fighting someone you know will beat you, while still saving face and avoiding a humiliating beating.

The WBC use them for every top fighter in the world, in order to be able to enter their top 15 rankings, so Connor was always going to get tested by them in order to step up. Saying 'but he passed UKAD' is like saying he could get away with using a substance because UKAD are incompetent in boxing, which of course they are in drug testing. They're known for missing crucial steroid drugs.

The BBBofC have nothing to do with the investigation. UKAD and the WBC conducted interviews. WBC received the dossier, and UKAD couldn't comment on an ongoing investigation.
Or it could just be, that he thinks the BBBOC stitched him up, and he dosnt need them..... so why give them anything.... But i do think at the earliest time he can legally.... Him or his legal team need to come out with a detailed statement of all the findings and what EXACTLY makes him innocent. It cant just be left with the WBC saying his innocent... He HAS to prove it.

McClellan was the pound for pound best at the time, a heavy hitter with a huge knock out ratio. In round one, he put Nigel through the ropes. He put Nigel down a second time. Maybe an accidental clash of heads caused the devastating injury, or the fact that Nigel too punched like a jack hammer. But in the minds of the righteous like you, he must have been juiced up. You know nothing about the man, his upbringing, his personal issues, his own fight against his own demons, yet you, being so righteous, quickly condemn.
Nigel admits to drug taking outside of the ring. He admits to the errors that cost him his first marriage, he admits that those serious consequences almost cost him his life.

I think it says it all that Benn chose to be interviewed by Piers rather than a sports journalist. Piers clearly didn’t know the full facts of the case, and while I appreciated some of the questioning, he didn’t go far enough. Not to mention that Chris Eubank Jr barely got a mention. Had this fight gone ahead then it could have been more dangerous than we originally thought.

If the board don't recognise VADA, what's the point in the clean boxing programme for UK fighters? When they can fail consecutive tests and still get sanctioned to fight...
