Reading some of your comments about me purposely not seeing the solution. Here’s the thing about that, when doing puzzles, logic isn’t always easy to go with due to concentrating on all the pieces, orientation and holding them together. Watching the video back, I can see how easy it looked, trust me. But to sit there in front of your keyboard and say I’ve lost credibility and you’re unsubbing makes me remember what I hate about social media and what I love about myself. Keepin it real and if you think other wise, happy to see ya leave! ❤️
Chris Ramsay what I love about the videos isn’t seeing how smart you are and how fast you solve it. It’s how you explain your thought process. Not a lot of people I would rush to watch fiddle with puzzles every week. Keep up the good work.
I saw the solution early on.. or at least what i thought was the solution. in watching you i realized there were more solutions and I'm glad that you didn't just thump it back together, great job, and I look forward to the next video.

These are the types of puzzles that are pretty easy to disassemble but takes a lot of dexterity to put back together. And we come here not because of how fast you can solve the puzzles, but because we enjoy your humor, how you explain and sometimes watch you suffer lol. You're dope, as always. Love from Philippines
I really enjoy your videos mate. I like your attitude towards the haters too, good stuff! Though I'm not a fan of these dexterity puzzles and this one looked like a pain in the butt as soon as I saw how loosely it was held together at the start.

I don't see why he would intentionally do it. He's done short videos before, and then just gone through different puzzles to make time.
Seemed like he was kind of uninspired by the puzzle though....

Yeah, I would like the two channels to cooperate, even more so because they are the only two big ones about puzzles on CZcams. There are often different solutions to the same puzzle, so maybe one can challenge the other to find another solution.

yeeeahhh...I agree, I'm not sure what the point was. It literally fell apart, and although I love the design, love how it connects, I love everything about it except for it falling apart lol! This bodeth unwell for kickstarter. It's pretty, though.

The tricky part of this puzzle was definitely the orientation. Might seem easy to you watching but along with the pieces sliding apart, the weight of them and the orientation, it was quite knacky and challenging. Thanks for watching!

Chris, I love ya, seeing you means I get to see puzzles I haven't ever seen before. If I had a better income and time I would definitely be enjoying solving puzzles, puzzles were a big part of my childhood. When you pulled the puzzle apart I instantly recognized the type of puzzle, it is similar to a wood puzzle I had that was 6 pieces, and so I thought "dang, this one is going to be solved again in a matter of seconds"... Then you took 12 minutes. It probably isn't as easy I I thought it would be, given that it looks similar in concept to something else I've done and remember fondly.

I happened to see this on Mr.Puzzles channel earlier a couple days before I watched you solve it and I think he found an easier way to solve it it’s awesome watching 2 different people and seeing how differently their minds work at trying to solve these tricky puzzles.

I just found your channel and I love watching you work out these awesome puzzles. It really shows how beautiful they are vs just looking up the solutions.
So, actual question:
I'm the dungeon master for a long running D&D campaign. My players are super smart and very good at the puzzles I give them. I want to start introducing props. What puzzles would you recommend for a group of people to all contribute to solving (not one person fiddling with it on their own)?
Bonus points if it looks like it comes from an ancient dungeon and holds deadly secrets. ;)

Just watched intro so far:
Had a similar puzzle in a christmas cracker years ago that was spherical with 6 identical pieces - you had to put 3 pieces together for each side and then slide together.
Judging by how this thing came apart I'd assume it's the same or similar

Yeah, that's the thing with this puzzle. Chris is saying that it was due to weight but I think the puzzle it'self was poorly constructed which is why it gave him trouble. This type of puzzle works on friction and the solution is to have basically two halves of the puzzle slide back to each perfectly. However, it's sometimes hard to get that to happen. Having the puzzle as loose as it was confused Chris's sense of touch and what he was expecting which I think a lot of people are seeing as he was handling the thing.
The key point? It's on Kickstarter. Donate to make it better. :D

Hay Chris I enjoy watching all your videos especially these puzzles. I have to say sadly I was board at work yesterday and saw mr. Puzzle video of this puzzle. It might gut be me but I have to say that in the amount of time between you and him to solve it. You won by 3 minutes. You videos are interesting and amazing. I wish I could have a awesome puzzle like the mecha enigma puzzle. Other then that you have a wonderful day

Idk why but this made me laugh so much. I felt so bad you’d be right there then the pieces just crumbled in your hands. It was like watching someone trying to pick of pieces of a burnt piece of wood and when touched the wood turned to ash. I felt bad for laughing it was funny and sad at the same time lol

And I didnt always do this, but now i like watching his puzzle vids right b4 falling asleep bc they are atheisticly pleasing and theres never much going on that I need sound for... well it's hard not to giggle reading what he says in the subtitles and every few sentences (clinck) "..." Great job! Im still lvl six but getting better. Beat the last lvl 6 in fifteen minutes. But I still have one Ive been working on for months. But I will never give up. Buy an occaisonal puzzle here and there to do while I work on the beast. I even tried doing it at night in complete darkness while waiting to fall asleep. Its just something my mind cant accept yet. But great job as usual!

You really need some good looking timer to replace that generic white one 😃Your videos are so aesthetically pleasing and luxurious looking with the wooden table, the closeup pad and the beautiful puzzles (not to mention any decorations and the amazing b rolls you do, your videos are always top quality!). A nice good looking timer would really be the finishing touch - just imagine how good it would look! 😊

Thinking about how cool it looks, how much fun you've had with it, the cost of it and in general what your opinion is about it.
I'd love to find one that's not too difficult but also not insanely expensive. The one i loved the most was the cyber punk style one. It looked AMAZING!! Sadly way too expensive so i won't be buying that any time soon ;D

I have a puzzle like this only a wood version when they come a part you have 2 halfs with pieces the same way you can put it back.
The hardest part with my way is you need nimble fingers to hold everything together.
And find the oritation to complete it.

10:48 And exactly this orientation is the key of the puzzle, four of the edges are like claws, and the other four are flat. At first you tried to put together two shells with claws,but that didn't fit. If you put the half shells together differently, there are no claws (the open edges are flat than) and this will slide together as it fell apart at the beginning. So what i want to say, or what i think: the special thing here is what's different in shape.

Are there any reasonably priced puzzles that include multiple pieces/steps/built in tools to get started? I don't want to drop hundreds on a puzzle but I really like the puzzles where you have to think outside the box, take apart bolts to find a new tool, etc.

I'm thinking the pieces are identical to each other, just not perfectly symmetrical, so the orientation matter, just not which piece.
Anyone else watch these videos on their phone? I always find myself turning my phone in the different directions I want Chris to move the pieces!

Reminds me of those little plastic "puzzles" in the 25 cent machines that are plastic balls with identical pieces.
So I thought I had seen this but then I realized I couldn’t have . . . But then I realized I watched mr.puzzle do it earlier this week when it popped up in recommended. For all those being like “uh this is so damn easy why chris be struggling?” I don’t think that the puzzle itself is hard but orientating the pieces to slide together is difficult because they are so tightly fit together and they are metal they have little to no give for sliding together. Chris video was great 👍🏼
Pretty sure this is a reupload though, i remember the neighbour noise apology,and other moments, unless Mr Puzzle has also got noisy neighbours and apologized for them of course...

@@GH05TD0G90 Always question reality, its the trickiest puzzle there is. I might be wrong, but i swear different moments made me think i seen it before, there is always the possibility my mind playing tricks, our memory is flexible, and fills in gaps. But for me, the neighbour noise, and the moment he opens the puzzle and makes the hidden storage compartment remark felt like it wasnt the first time i seen it. If im correct though, it has a different intro, sure i never seen that one before.
