Challenge for Chris: Try out the "Hourglass" by Hanayama. It's nerve wracking but you'll solve it, I'm sure. I believe in you!
I have it for about 3 weeks now, fiddeling nearly every day with it and still haven't even get the pieces apart. Wish you good luck ;-)
The hourglass is my nemesis! It's the only hanayama puzzle I have that is unsolved! Clearly level 5 ones are more my speed.
I got mine into a strange state, put it down, then forgot how I got there. Driving me NUTS!
started mine today. i got pieces reversed, but cant quite get em apart

Me and a friend got the hourglass apart, the 2 pairs of pieces come apart in different ways. One is easy, one is not.

You should build a glass top table that you can display the embossed plates in, make it so you can add more as you get more plates, and maybe some nice lighting!

Add those printing plates to a brand coffee table with resin. Plates embedded in the top surface of course. It will look awesome!

Love these puzzle videos man.
I know Chris is all about the for content stuff, but i had been messing around with the Padlock and got frustrated, went to this one and got it apart and back together in about 20 seconds. I think when you go to the easier ones after messing around with the harder ones they tend to be a bit easier.

I have this puzzle. When I give it to people, it’s fairly common for them to open it on accident. They then can’t reopen it. Tip, you not only need to form the triangle, you should feel all three pieces kind of click into place. Cool puzzle. Nice vid!
Should have been called the Bermuda Triangle I have to say this is one of my favourite puzzles and looks absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship looks incredible.
Puzzles don't have to be difficult to be enjoyable sometimes you can just like the aesthetics and craftsmanship.

I think you still don't know exactly how it works. This is the first puzzle I bought and completed so it has a very special place in my heart. There is a small inner mechanism that makes the whole thing work and I don't think you actually solved the puzzle simply because you don't understand what that mechanism is. I love your videos and I've been watching them for years now. See you in the next vid!!

On a side note, love the intro. the very first second is mesmerising. then approximately 0:17 and 0:30. had me WOOOW
If those plates are copper, you can get some cool patinas going on them to add more color variation to it. You could mask off the edges and leave the middle channels to fill with a blue/green colored patina, easily.
