As cool as that sounds, I don't think that makes much sense
Would be cool look a Glimora use Meteorbeam just to be sure if it does acts like a meteor
It fires the Meteor Beam from its bloom backwards, propelling itself face-first into the target.
It still counts as a Special move in the same way Draining Kiss does
It should just get a new move called minior meteor and it's like fickle beam during more damage depending if the miniors are in sheilds down form or not.

Since the start of Gen 9 Glimmora has been a really cool mon in terms of move list, ability and especially design for me, it's very beautiful.
It also paired well with Wo-Chien as you know. Thanks for the example teams. My favorite Pokemon of the entire franchise is Garchomp if you wanna talk about them

I like how you can tell when moxie is genuinely excited when talking about certain pokemon, another videos were more educational telling us about strats but in this one you can tell he's gassing up Glimmora as much as possible(rightfully so glimmora is badass)
I think an analysis video on Farigiraf could be neat, especially with its sheer resilience in the face of power creep so far

I just watched a pokeburm vid this morning that had meteor beam Glimora. My reaction was literally "*gasp* They gave Gilmora meteor beam? it's even better now!" Haha
Running spiky shield + protect is heat
I love seeing this with Follow Me users so if in case it uses up its Meteor Beam and you want to use Meteor Beam for later, we just let the Follow Me user to protect Glimmora from attacks while charging up. That atk is so massive THO

I knew glimms sp attk was pretty good hell I used earth power during the period it was used regularly in OU specifically to counter opposing glimms
Been running Glimmora since Chuppa took one to finals at Portland and i gotta say it is AWESOME! I run earth power over mortal spin like he was running though because i'm allergic to the whole dondozo stall thing lol
Glimmoras my favourite gen 9 pokemon for sure, so I'm all on board with it getting Meteor Beam. It's always been a sleeper pick for my teams and any chance to be stronger is appreciated.

I’m working on bringing Pokémon into 5e, and I feel like I can make Glimmora work.
-Glimmora will be more of a caster, with a good Int/Wis/Cha and dumping Str. Its spells will be some geokinesis, as well as spells that deal acid, poison, and radiant damage.
-Glimmora’s Toxic Debris will create poisonous hazardous terrain that forces Con saves on any creature that steps on it, lest they get poisoned.
-Corrosion will make its attacks and spells that do acid damage ignore resistances, and treat immunities as resistances.
-Mortal Spin attacks all opponents in melee range, and forces them to make Con saves, lest they get poisoned, and free it from grapples and being restrained.
-Spiky Shield is a reaction that boosts Glimmora’s AC until the start of its next turn, and if a melee attack would’ve hit Glimmora before the AC boost, the attacker takes piercing damage.
-Meteor Beam is a concentration move, and on the first turn it uses it, it gives itself advantage on attack rolls, which lasts for 1 turn after concentration is broken.
Fun fact: terapagos stellar has a unique meteor beam animation and it looks sick!!!

Zapdos has ALMOST been good and it’s so frustrating 😭
I've been trying to get galarian zapdos to work since it was allowed and it has just not clicked 😅 maybe if incin were more dominant, it would have a bigger niche, but as is, it's tough to make work, especially with raging bolt basically killing the scarf set

Glimmora is fun, I like it (besides having a good shiny) is it kinda makes your opponent avoid using physical attacks due to its ability. While sure if they have a poison type the spikes effectiveness can vary but if they don’t they wanna use special moves or take the poison/toxic effect.
Now meteor beam is here you can dump damage turn 1 and if they try to fake out you get spikes up and keep the +1 SPA for a sludge bomb, energy ball, or earth power.
I'm generally against not 100% accurate moves, but I made an exception for meteor beam and just expect it to miss 30% of the time 😅
kinda wish Meteor Beam shot off instantly in like, Gravity or Sandstorm.

I love using it with Dudunsparce. Not gonna be a pair that wins a tournament probably, but they're my two of my favorite mons and prettyy annoying. Spamming Breaking Swipe and setting up hazards and tailwind before they both go down

IMO toxic spikes need a small buff, my idea is that poison types swapping in only remove one layer of spikes instead of all of them, Its too free
The one issue I have with the new, superior glimmora is the lack of consistent rock damage. As annoying as power gem being 80 power is, it was nice run it "back in the day" due to rock's offensive presence.
I run it for pure hazards in singles, stealth rock max speed focus sash so I can lay double spikes and badly poison before bringing in h Samurott for regular spikes and eventually TTar for sandstorm damage. I know it’s annoying as hell to play against, especially when salt cure Garganacl sweeps due to all that passive damage.
As someone who has really only ised rental teams, i cant wait to grind a glimmora for a team ill never use

Yo Moxie, would be it be balanced to change meteor beam to have the mechanic like Electro Shot but it does it in Sandstorm. I suppose maybe that's why they didn't do it cause it would've created another 100% accurate rock move and so they didn't want an Iron Boulder lite floating around AND Glimmora would get that 50% special defense boost as well.
I don't like the two turn moves most of the time but having caveats where you can make it activate in one turn due to some mechanic that isn't a power herb makes them so much better.

I wish there's a terrain that charging moves can draw power from, being able to activate instantly at the cost of maybe 1/6 HP.
Electric terrain should chage electro shot, and grassy terrain should charge solar beam.
Imagine if meteor beam was sped up by sunny day.

The usage started with the dominating dozo team, main reason was to prevent icy winds speed drops from flutter to not lose against dark urshifu wicked blow + icy wind spam. It’s obviously a hard counter against incin with defiant and cloak.

I know this is about competitive but I am wondering so many people complained about glimora being gitta's star pokemon and it being too week for that role. With this new info do we think that that battle was supose to be ballenced around this diferent functioning glimora instead? Would she be a more challenging boss if the game intended her to have this one?
People weren't complaining that glimm was weak, they were complaining that glimm was the final pokemon and kingambit was first when reversing them makes the match much harder. With glimm setting Spikes turn 1 and kingambit getting a boost from supreme overlord

MB Glimmora is unreliable. I lost games on turn one all because of Meteor Beam MISSING. Preposterous! And as of typing this, my Glimmora just missed Meteor Beam in the Global Challenge and my team is going to get destroyed!
