I just purchased an X line I love it I did trade my 21 Sportage in on this one night and day difference between the two I really have nothing bad to say about the 21 but I sure like this one better very nice car for the money

I’m on FB forum for the 2023 Sportage. Every once in a while you’ll hear someone complain that the gas model doesn’t have enough power, and that it isn’t quick enough from a stop.
I haven’t test driven this, or the hybrid yet. What I wonder is, for the people who own one and don’t like the power, did you even test drive it or do any research? The other thing I’m wondering is, if you require a vehicle that goes from 0mph to 60mph in record time, or you need something with a lot of powers why in the world was the Sportage on your list of cars to buy ? If you want speed, buy a car built for it. If you want power, buy a big SUV or a pickup.
I have a 2011 Sportage with 70K miles on it. I’ve driven from upstate NY to Orlando Florida twice, with a single place snowmobile trailer full of stuff. I drive through snowstorms on unplowed roads to get to work, where we then plow the town roads. I’ve had no issues with it at all. If I need more speed or need to tackle a steep hill, I use the manual stick mode.
If I do get a new Sportage, it would probably be the gas model. I will test drive that and the hybrid to be sure.
Do your research, know what you need vs. what you want.
100% Spot on! This is a small to mid sized SUV and its not a Porsche or Mercedes AMG SUV. It's designed for good fuel economy and utility. If you want jack rabbit speed off the line then go buy a much more expensive SUV. If however you are looking for good all around practicality, then this KIA needs to be on your shopping list. @@SekkzcHard for use to really say. I think it has all of the most current safety and Tech like other SUVs in its class and its a nice looking vehicle. The "worth" part comes from you and how you value things like quality, performance, looks, etc

Locally, these are way over priced.
Lots of dealers are adding “Market Adjustment Pricing” to their cars. I think most consumers will remember those dealerships that tried to take extra advantage of its customers. Thanks for watching
