  • How to align the chronograph hands on a Fossil FS4735 series watch. Misalignment can occur after a battery change, or inadvertently by pressing the chronograph pushers while the crown is in the first position (pulled all the way out) during time setting. This procedure will align the subdial second hand at 6 o'clock and the chronograph minutes counter in the sub dial located at 9 o'clock.
    (The subdial at 3 o'clock is a 24 hour indication)

      I'm sooo glad! Years and years ago before I got into watches I had the same thing happen and thought my chrono was ruined for ever!!!! It was such a relief when I found out it was a relatively easy fix. Cheers!!!! Colin

    Is there a 24hrs dial alignment?

    • @watchoffthecuff
      @watchoffthecuff  Před rokem +1

      No, the 24 hour dial is mechanically coupled to the main hour and minute hand. It should not come out of alignment unless the watch was dropped for example. Changing the battery should not effect its alignment. Hope this helps!
      Cheers,
      Colin

    how about the sub dial for 24 hours, mine is not correct how to fix it?

    • @watchoffthecuff

      It will be mechanically linked, so the 24 hour hand will have to be reset manually by a watchmaker to fix the issue.

    Is there anyway we can set 24 hour dial alignment?? Mine went about 4 hours off..

    • @watchoffthecuff
      @watchoffthecuff  Před rokem +1

      Yikes! Unfortunately no, they are mechanically linked, so the only way would be to open the watch and physically reset the hands to align them again. I do have a question.... at midnight when the date changes, is the 24 hour dial correct or the hands???

      @@watchoffthecuff nah !! they always have a 3:45 hours gap... 24 hour sub dial is faster .. Date changes at 12AM on the primary dial.
