"Summer with the Masters" is an Old Masters-themed event that focuses on artwork created anywhere, by anyone, before 1928 (the current copyright year, as of the time of this posting). This year's event will run from June 1st through July 31st. You may fill out the entry form (linked below) at any time before July 31st - there's no rush, and no start photo required.

Hi Katie! I am very happy to be participating again this year! I ordered a custom cross stitch conversion from Jaded Gem Shop. I know it is not quite the same as a custom, but I got to determine how many ABs I wanted, LOL. Thank you for hosting again this year!
I have ordered two custom diamond paintings over the last two years of the same image. My mom has made some amazing drawings over the years and I really want her to appreciate her own talents while having something of her with me. Both were of the same image she drew. The first came out with a kind of awful rendering- no real contrast and I decided I would wait to find another shop that would do it justice. Jaded Gem Shop seriously stepped up and hit it out of the park! Her customs are PHENOMENAL no question! She’s my number one go to with any custom now. Be prepared that wait times might be a little longer than with stock kits- plan ahead of you can. Incredibly pleased with the outcome!!!!

Hi Katie! So happy to be participating in this event. I did order a custom for this event. I found the painting 'The Fitting' by Viktor Schramm and fell in love with it. I decided to use Dreamer Designs for my custom. They did a great job working with me until I was happy with the results. I am working on it now, making a few changes. This is a very enjoyable project for me but it is BIG! Hope I can finish it. 😊

I'm so excited to join in on this event. I've never done a custom before. It is a little intimidating to me. But I am collecting some photos I've taken of Texas wildflowers and cactus blooms. Hopefully next summer I will finally take the plunge and into customs.
I had considered ordering a custom for this event, but in the end I did it as a cross stitch conversion. I just love all the preparation work that goes into it, from tweaking the source picture to converting, sizing and correcting it. And then the actual fun starts 😊

I ordered two customs from Jaded Gem Shop last month and she was so helpful as they were my first customs. One was a photograph and one is an Old Masters called “Mother of the World”.

I've wanted to do a variety of customs (some of art I'd commision, friends' art, art from fandoms I don't see anywhere else, etc), but I've always been hesitant because of the sizing and unsure of colors. I'm glad to see how easy it is to measure it out with the site you showed, super convenient.

I have ordered a custom. The one I am doing now is a 60x80 Zodiac by Alphonse Mucha that I had customized. Really love the tips that you shared. I always end up requesting renders in different sizes, never thought of doing it myself. I will try that next time. ❤✨️

I have ordered a custom painting before from EverMoment, it's a painting of my parents which I plan to gift for their anniversary. I have always been thinking to order another one because shipping cost has been getting crazy nowadays 😅 As a person living in Asia region, it's been so difficult to find good quality companies who offer reasonable shipping cost. This video is very helpful since I didn't even know about the website to convert the image to pixel art, and also where to find those good paintings in high definition. Thank you so much!
Hi Katie, I have completed one custom over a year ago. I lost my dad 5 years ago, then my dog a year later. I had a picture of them together and had that made into a custom. It is the only diamond painting I currently have hanging in my home. Though I do plan to eventually hang a few others.
Hi, I have 5 custom diamond painting to do and just ordered another 3 eek, I tend to speak to the artist personally I have an email stating that I have their permission, I then order my one off artwork. I like the individuality it gives me. Looking forward to watching both you and Anthony over the coming weeks.

Hi Katie! Early on when I started diamond painting, I ordered my first custom in memory of one of my dogs 🐩. Sad to say, I have yet to work on it. Maybe this year could be the year 😊
