I feel this WIP and chat so much! I’m a terribly anxious intervert 😂 sleep doesn’t come easy. Diamond painting as a community has really helped me with that. I love the feeling of co-working with my favorite creators, helps me focus. 🥭 SWTM is so unique and cool 😎 so thankful to be a part of it this year ❤

Thank you for the WIP and Chat. Enjoyed the company and hearing about the Master’s event and it’s history. I’ll say a prayer for your husband. I’m sure he is as stressed as you are. Hopefully the boys will fit in for their schedules for next year. Change is always difficult for special needs children and trying to figure out what is effecting them and find what’s wrong is a whole different battle when silence is involved. Happy diamond painting. Hope it releases some of that stress. Peace and love abide with you 💕
Katie...I appreciate you talking about mental health and anxiety. It's ok to not always be ok. My kiddo is also on the spectrum so I understand completely. Job hunting is hard and scary! This is my favorite event of the year. I love the Old Masters. I understand your anxiety right now because my husband is currently unemployed and looking for a job.🍉🍉🍉
I love your wip and chats and I always listen til the end. Your feelings about anxiety and depression are completely valid and it's ok to feel what you feel. I actually have learned a lot about what I've felt my whole life and didn't know what it was. I just had no idea. I just thought I was a little different and I never spoke on it to anyone. Please continue to share. You are not annoying or a Debbie downer or anything like that at all.

🥭I'm glad there are so many old masters pre- packaged kits since I got started in dp in January. The idea of a custom would have overwhelmed me as a newbie. I think I could do it now, after watching yours and Anthony's videos on it.
🍉🍓🍏 your comment about rage days had me chuckling! I think I’m going to use that term from now on 🤣 All of the positive vibes for your family as Adam continues his job hunt and I hope your evening spirals start to decrease as well.
I feel you on the anxiety this week. My fiances ex-wife is being stupid over the house again so that's been a cause of a lot of stress for me and also not sleeping. It's so hard to think of something that hasn't been done before right now because it feels like everything has been done by this point lol. I remember when you started Summer with the Masters, and wanted to take part then but felt like I was so uneducated in it. I'm excited that I am able to take part this year. My thoughts go out to your hubby, the job market is terrible right now. I've also been struggling to find a job and it really takes a toll on the confidence. 🍓

I can completely understand the anxiety. I have epilepsy and have been advised not to be on my own due to the risk. At the same time I live alone because I’m stubborn and fiercely independent. However I get really bad anxiety, especially at night when I start to think of the seizures and risk in the quiet of the night. Diamond painting to an audio book or You Tube in the background really helps, among various other crafts I do. Finding what works to relieve anxiety is the hardest part.
I know exactly what you mean about the night time and that's when anxiety spikes! It's like brain, you had all day to sort this out, why are you doing it when we need to sleep and you know you need to get kiddo at 7am in the morning and I am so tired just argh!!! Best wishes to you and your husband with the job hunting!

🥭 are the best. I have been living on minimum clothing now for the last 6 months since I moved back to CA and my living situation is small . All of my clothes are in storage, and I have 4 pairs of leggings a couple pairs of jeans and some t-shirts. All my other clothes are in my storage locker since I don’t have a closet or even a real dresser. I’m living in my god children s play room, so their cube storage was converted to a make shift dressed with the cloth cubby cubes. It’s good to be minimized but I can’t wait to see all my old clothes again it will be like they are all new again 😊

I feel so seen by this episode- when you talk about the dread you felt during newborn phase at night. SAME. My sister has a newborn and her baby sleeps beautifully- mine did not. I was just telling her yesterday how much i dreaded nighttime during that time. It was so bad. I also suffered (silently) from postpartum depression and now I’m wondering if that’s part of it. Idk but i feel you girl. I hope you are feeling better and getting better sleep this week!

🥝 I understand completely about the anxiety at night. I don’t understand why it hits me the way it does as soon as I lay down but there have been times that I have been scared to fall asleep because of certain things and then I will go into a full blown panic attack. I have added melatonin at night and I think it has helped a little as far as falling asleep but I am really praying for you because I know how tough it is..

🍓still strawberry season here so I am choosing this one. I am STILL working on Glorious Purpose…although I have greatly picked up on my pacing with these square drills as I have gone along. I also finished a caterpillar from a mini kit of insects from PaintGem this morning. My son had started on it, but I think the square drills were a little too hard for him. I have my Summer with the Masters kitted up but I don’t want to start until I finish my current WIP. I am afraid I would never get it done if I stop now!!!

My anxiety has been kicking my butt recently heighting the insomnia.
I spent the day kitting up yesterday and it did help so I'm grateful for that. (My least favourite part of the hobby too so small win)

I just finished Phoenix Fantasy and Edna Morte events. I’m doing Darkness Blooms. I think my next event is JBG along, which is perfect because I have a Christmas elf picture she did and it will give me plenty of time to have it ready for Xmas.
I too have anxiety. My mother’s health has been very bad and some weeks I feel like I’m popping anxiety pills like tic taks (not quite that bad). I just want you to know that I empathize.

You should try to do a live, even if it is as late as you think. You would be surprised how many people are up that late, Plus you have the overseas subscribers that I am sure would enjoy seeing it.

My go to when the overthinking and anxiety kicks in is the Harry Potter audiobooks by Stephen fry. His voices distracts and soothes my brain and following such a familiar story line drops my brain into relaxed sleep. Hope it passes for you soon. X

Continue, so I hope this is okay. The only way I can relate to you and your family is relating to my sister and me. Both my sister and I were in school in the 60s and 70s.
My sister had a speech impediment. Therefore at first teachers thought my sister had a serious learning disability. She didn't, I did. But when my sister and I were in school no one ever thought human females had ADHD. Yet, I was the one who would lose track of what the teacher was saying. I stared around the classroom( got spanked for that), would stare at other students. Yet at recess, I would go out and make up these fantastic games to play.
I was not diagnosed until I was in my early 50s.
I live in between the mountains and the beach. The weather where I live rarely gets over 88°in the summer.
Once again where do I register for Summer with the Masters. Remember my ADHD, causes my Panic and anxiety issues to act up.
I watched some of your live broadcast, but since I never married or had children I can't relate. So, I didn't join in.

The joy of a brain disorder. This would really help. Plus, you said Summer with the Masters has to be a custom kit. Okay, I don't have, and probably some other people don't have the money for a custom kit. I purchased Café Terrance at Night by Van Gagh. I bought this from DAC.
