I love you are going back to your old school, doing a comparison, and it’s a sweet image. Your love language is giving back but you don’t want to hurt feelings in the same breath. You are so beautiful sweet you would never be able to insult someone even if you tried! You have been MY saving grace for the past 3 years 😊.

That person in the group should not have come at you like that. Creating content is not easy work and you have earned those kits. I love the fact you are taking this as an opportunity to do the side by side comparison of it because I know I am very curious to see how they stack up. I remember when you were doing the J Wall comparison, that's about the time I started to watch your channel (I took over a year break from CZcams while I was pregnant and my little was newborn). I absolutely loved that comparison especially because you were using it as a this is what different companies do vs why is this better than the other. Try to not let that one comment degrade what you do here. 🧡🐯

🐅 by the time I watched this WIP you’re doing a side by side comparison. ❤❤. Just want you to know I truly appreciate you and love your channel.
I think it would be awesome to see you work in tandem for the round and squares, but whatever is the easiest for you really. And you do what you need to for your mental health as far as taking a week off. I wouldn’t blame you for that as I get overwhelmed just participating in events so I couldn’t imagine hosting one! 🐅 🐯
I think it would be so nice to a comparison view of a round and square kit of the same image. Those are really happy colours and the tiger is really cute. 🐯
People that complain about keeping something because it was free and given to them willingly are the same ones that never shared their toys as children I swear. As a big ol nerd I’m really looking forward to seeing this comparison because rendering is like….the most important thing! Seeing this is going to be so helpful for my future drill shape decisions! 🐅🐅

I can't wait to see the difference, I have only ever worked on Puffygator in rounds, but I prefer squares so this might changes somethings for me 😅 Hope everyone continues to get healthy and stays that way! And this week you should totally only do what videos your heart tells you to do if any at all, you definitely have a busy three months coming up! 🐅🐯
For DAC I kit up by bag size largest to smallest. I still put them in DMC order but just go down the string of bags. This way I can make sure I have enough room for all of the colors in one tray. If I'm starting to run out of room, I'll just open 1 of the bigger bags to use a smaller container and then refill it as needed. I just hate having to use more than 1 EW container and do whatever possible to avoid it. 😅🐯🐅
I saw that comment the person saying free kit I had to bite my tongue not to respond. People are so rude and entitled. Just ignore people like that ❤ can’t wait to see both completed together. I ordered the round one!
You had me 100% accepting today is May 1st. 😂 🐯 Seriously, though, thank you for all your hard work. I know some people think of content creation as just a fun hobby from the outside, but work is work! There's time, effort and coordination involved. If it were as simple as having a camera we'd all be doing it, but it's not. 💜
🐯 Hope you bounce back this week after that bit of negativity from your last video. I loved seeing both kits being compared in the sneak peak video and think you should work through them both in whatever style speaks to you. Take time to look after yourself and if you don’t end up posting as many videos this week don’t worry, we’ll all still be here eagerly waiting for the next one to be posted 😄💜

🐅🐯 Love your videos. It takes a lot of work to do them and to put yourself out there. I really like your other comparison videos. It has helped me decide on companies to purchase from, because of how you do your videos. Totally agree with others that you earned what companies have sent you. Can't wait to see how these kits turn out being that they are from the same company, it will just be rounds vs. squares. Have a great week!
🐯Wanted to mention that I love the Umbrella Academy! I grabbed this kit in square! Its no help, but I think you should work on whatever kit you want, whenever you want, in general. :)

Funny story. I had just finished Three Graces by Josephine Wall from Diamond Painting Deutschland and I was looking for another painting. I found The Spirit of Flight on DAC and DPD, but I couldn't bring myself to do another over 200 color painting. Then I found your video and seeing both done side by side I knew the DAC one would turn out just as beautiful. I'm working on it know for an event. So I say keep those videos coming!!

Thank you for the WIP and chat, Katie! I also put the bags in dmc order to kit up. Once done I then put the containers in ABC, 123 then symbol order so I can find them easily. I didn't buy this kit on Saturday but hope to get a square one when it restocks. Hope you have a great week!

I use harbor freight containers, EWard containers,or round jars, baggies.
I usually label my bags/containers first then grab a strip and start matching the DMC to the stickers. I keep them in DMC order aswell. 😊
Hi Katie.I really enjoy listening to your wip and charts especially when im doing a diamond painting. If like to see to do a round in full instead of comparing both. I have never done a square drill yet. Not sure if I really like them.🦁
🐯 I recently shared that I am reading the Court of Thorns and Roses series per your recommendation. I am loving it so much. I’m already dreading finishing it. I have to share that last week I was reading book 3, and near the end is a devastating event (not going to spoil in case someone else sees this comment). I started ugly girl bawling and I sniffling. I was so upset that I almost threw the 600+ page book across the room, which is so not like me 😂. I just had to share with someone that would understand.
Thanks for your comparison images in the VIP group and in instagram and sneak peek! They were definitely helpful to see. And of course you don't need my permission, but I agree it feels like a fine time for a break. (I'd probably get bored doing one row of each; might be more interesting to do them one after the other??) 🐅

So, i think I'm one of the oddest when I kit up. With DAC, I'll start with the smallest bags to the largest and I'll organize them in a very odd way but it's how my brain works, haha. I'll start with number order, then abc order and then in color order going lightest to darkest! I've thought about just doing it all in color order, but this has just worked best for me, lol
I love your WIP and truly look forward to listening to you. You have such a soothing voice while I diamond paint. Some are just too loud so the volume goes down. Please try and not pay attention to those who post negatively. Some are so opinionated. It's your channel so do your thing. 😊
🐯 I’m completely on board with just seeing the full completed kits. As opposed to seeing them compared throughout the process. 💖
For me when i kit up i put the drills in number order. When it comes to when it comes to working on the diamond painting it depends on what size baggies i uses. I have 2 size baggies i use small ones for smaller kits and big one bigger kits. Sometimes i use both depending on how many drills of any color there is.
The colours are so happy & bright, I love it!☀️🐯

🐯🐅have you ever thought of having a voice chat channel somewhere where you can actually talk to your followers, swap hints and tips, even recipes, share ideas and stories so you can work on your art and not have to read messages all the time? Even if it's like a monthly event... just a thought. My daughter and her friends have a voice channel on one platform they love me to come into and i do my art, while being able to talk to them and take time out if needed :)
I'd love to see one done, then the other. seeing one line or five at a time on each just seems like.. i don't know. lol. Anyway, whatever way it goes i'll be watching :)
It'd be interesting to see if you can kit up directly from the round into the square. I can only assume the symbols and such will be the same but it would be a great way to see if it's 100% 1:1 the same!
One other thing that would be interesting, is if you time how long it takes to do each, maybe not the entire canvas but even just a same-size section (I know the round one will be a bigger section but should translate to the same amount of diamonds?). We always say rounds work up faster than squares so it'd be cool to see what the difference is. 🐯

🐯 so I've been watching all your video for the past 4 months and I've been working on a project for my mom for mother's day. Needless to say I picked to big of a project for a first diamond painting. I haven't given up and still working on it but there's no way I'm going to have it done in time.😢

Don't feel too embarrassed about having so many Elizabeth Ward trays. I have 12 of them and they are all full. Okay, 3 of them need to be kitted down. (1 other probably can be but I need to make sure there's no drills missing from the canvas it's tied to first). 2 I just kitted up for Summer with the Masters and 2 I kitted up for my sister's birthday present that I'm working on until then. 2 have been holding drills for a Chuck Pinson that I've been working on for a year and have almost done but have to take breaks from and the last 2 hold the drills for Sloth Puzzle that is for my other sister. I got a great deal (possibly an oops deal) when I ordered 2 sets of 2 trays and I got 2 boxes of 5 trays each. I already had 2 trays. I probably should have tried to repeat that order order, lol!

I just always try to get as many as possible in the smaller containers, so I don’t sort by DMC. Then in my tray I sort by symbol (A-Z, then numbers, then math symbols, then misc symbols grouped by ones that look similar) lol
This kit was sold out when I was ordering. I wanted the round kit. Beautiful color palette. 🐯🐅🐯

Try the word hardship to work on the same kit with different drills. We all blank sometimes

Good morning Katie! I’m working on Herbalist’s Helper while watching. I have some advice on TikTok for you. I think it’s worth downloading but you can lose hours while using it. I pick day (Sunday) to catch up on my favorites and set a timer (60-90 minutes). I’m able to scroll and enjoy the endless content and when the timer goes off, I get back to my normal routine. Our 4 month old just got covid and needed to be hospitalized to stay on oxygen. It was terrifying. It brought us right back to when she was born and stopped breathing.🐯

I have a question for anyone to answer. My first 3 were "Diamond Dotz" (I think I'm saying that right?) & then some stickers & a small one from Wal-Mart (the gems aren't numbered at all) & now I'm working on coasters & next up will be kits, all from Amazon (& those are numbered different from each other so far?!) I organized all the D Dotz into their own little jars & have them numbered. Can I ask how any of you store yours from different brands??? Thank you in advance ❤

Do your DAC stickers start to lift off your Darice containers? Just wondering if there is any trick. They stay put on my other containers but Darice are my fave and I'm constantly pressing them down again. Thx :)
Sometimes I run into that! Usually it helps to clean off my containers because if there’s leftover residue from past project stickers, that’s problematic. If the stickers are still lifting, I just slap some scotch tape over them 😅
@@DiamondsandWashi Thanks :) That is what I resorted to- scotch tape. I was trying to cut down on the extra residue that creates but seems that is the best solution. Love your vids!

Question for you. I’m new to Diamond Painting. When you are finished with a painting do you then peel the numbers from the containers so you can reuse the containers again. Love you channel ❤

My containers are marked 1 through 72 .so they are always ready for any diamond painting ,I don’t use the symbols or DMC. I find this is the best way for me. Have a magical day ❤️🌹🙂

See that sense of entitlement get me. Who cares you got both kits for “free” they are yours and you shouldn’t feel obligated to give them away or whatever the person wanted.
Also it takes a ton of work to put these kind of shoes together, plus being a review kit that is “payment” from whoever for your time and energy creat content for them to promote it. Im sorry that person doesn’t understand how being a reviewer works.
