Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial! I have done a few diamond paintings to date and for me sealing is a must because of my birds. However I had no idea how to go about it and it had me frustrated to no end. Thank you so much for demonstrating the technique and also pointing out some details to take into consideration.

My first time, only just started the other day, doing The Kiss by Klimt

This was my first DAC kit I ever finished!! 🥰 It’s one of my favorite works of art from DC!! Small point of correction/fun fact; this actually isn’t fanart of Harley and Ivy! This painting was originally done for a special Pride Month limited release cover of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy a few years back! 🤗 that particular cover was so popular, DC released the artwork as prints, posters, and later…. Diamond paintings!

This is my first year, just waiting for my kit to arrive 😊

Hi Katie ! I ordered my kit back in April from Homespun Hobby. I have not received it yet so do I wait until I get and then fill out the form or fill it out now ? Not sure why I don’t have it but hoping to get it soon as when the owner asked if I was doing Summer with the masters via email and I did say yes and that was back on April 20th ☹️

This is my first SWTM! I couldn't help myself and started my kit a few days early. I'll be working on a custom Birth of Venus from Jaded Gem Shop. Very thankful that you and Anthony aren't requiring finishes for this event; this will also be the largest kit I've ever worked on. Thanks for hosting this, Katie!

I noticed on the entry form that the Instagram hashtag is 2023. Shouldn’t we use 2024?

Pure opinion. Besides the drill quality, I’ve seen better charting on Temu. I ended up throwing away my JGS purchase halfway through due to the charting. I was happy they are doing “digital charting” but when I saw the price I actually laughed out loud. Why pay double the amount for this charting when we can buy the quality for half this price at DAC. This company reminds me so much of DIYmonnshop and without some drastic changes I wonder will JGS have the same demise? Again my opinion.

This event is my favorite. It is my third year and I am trying to decide which kit to work on. “Waterlillies and Japanese Bridge” by Claude Monet is a very strong contender…. Thanks Katie and Anthony for your time hosting the event!

Finally, it's June :). I am doing "The Good Shepherd" by Dyce which I got from Jaded Gem Shop. I did start it two weeks ago because it is very confetti heavy, but loving it, and hope to get it done by the end of this.

Thank you for the comparison, Katie! I would be really curious to see both images standing back several feet to see if they look more similar. It would be great if you could do that when you show us your finish. I am guessing at that point, the computer generated one will blend more together and look more like the hand rendered one. Great job!

I'll be joining for the first time. I've had Café Terrace at Night from DAC kitted up for over a week. I'll be starting a couple of days later, because I had a cortisone injection yesterday on my right had for a trigger finger in my index finger. I'm resting my hand for a couple of days and then start.

Really stoked to join this year, I haven’t worked on artwork like this for a diamond painting or done an event like this before so it’s all very new and vaguely intimidating but I’m going to be working on Ophelia by John Everett Millais 💖✨

I'll be participating with Van Gogh's Café Terrace At Night from Diamond Art Club. I have 3 WIPs going right now and they're all round diamonds, so I'm really excited to dive into this square kit!
