I really want to do a custom of Serat’s “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte”. It’s so colorful and beautiful. It’s a huge canvas in real life but doesn’t have TONS of detail so I feel like it would translate SO well to a Diamond painting. Thanks so much for hosting this event!

I am a big fan of Renoir and "Girls at the piano" is hanging in my living....as a Diamond painting....what I would very much like to do is "La liseuse" by Renoir. I just ordered my dream piece that I saw last year. It is by Viktor Schramm. I have seen this painting called The Fitting. Also, some sites called it Preparing for the Ball. I hope it is rendered well. The ways he paints those beautiful dresses is amazing!
Recently, while strolling thru the Picardie museum from Amiens, France, I discovered a really nice painting, with an interesting history behind (it includes the story of the peeping Tom, lol). I'm learning so much about old masters thru SWTM and have fallen in love with Waterhouse's artwork. But on my wishlist now are several by Herbert James Draper. It's so hard to pick one but "A Water Baby", "The Golden Rays", darn I could name 4 more that I love. 😂

There are two that I really want to do someday, but I'm also worried about size and detail. The first is "Lamia" by John William Waterhouse. I don't know what it is about this painting, it just draws me in! And the story behind it reminds me of Supernatural, so there's that 😅 The second is "The Lady of Shalott" also by John William Waterhouse. This painting exudes misery and despair, which sounds depressing but being able to feel such strong emotions from a painting is utterly moving.
I have several on my wish list my top 3 Artemisia Gentilesch Judith and her maid servant, a Rachel Ruysch Floral arrangement or a Odilon Redon Floral arrangement and last but not least is a Utagawa Kunyosho woodblock I like the 6th Moon but there are many to choose from by this artist.... all probably large canvases with abs and maybe metalic beads incorporated.
If money and time and size were no object, I would love to get Rhapsody in White by American Artist , James McNeil Whistler to do as a Diamond Painting. Yes, that Whistler. I saw it at the National Museum in D.C. during a special exhibit, and it just fascinated me.

Like so many others, I adore Waterhouse and hopefully one day I can do a mermaid of his. I am drooling over Mucha's Zodiac. I can't wait to get my hands on Leonardo da Vinci's The Mona Lisa some day. She is definitely on my wishlist! I will have to be in the mood for some very muted colors though. I'm sure that she will be a challenge to render in Diamond Art form due to the deterioration of the original artwork itself.
Congrats to the winners!!! Number 1 place on my wishlist is the (rather dubiously named) painting by Abbott Handerson Thayer called A Virgin. It's a depiction of his kids, with the central figure (his oldest) as Nike. She just looks SO fierce and protective and intense, and the sense of movement is absolutely gorgeous. Despite the knowledge that I could crop/shrink it, I just don't want to. Soooo... It's not the size that's holding me back, it's the lack of suitable wall space!! 😂 Next year though, I'm doing it!!
I would love to work on more Alphonse Mucha panels. I am currently working on “Seasons Spring” for this event and it’s turning out amazing. I also like some of the images that you have shown on this video. I’m away to research them now! ❤😂😊

I finished starry night this morning. I only chose that one because a friend specifically asked for it once it was done. I would love to any religious old masters you would maybe see on a ceiling of an old cathedral.

I just ordered from Jade a very important canvas and a lot of sentimental feelings for me as a kid growing up starring at this image everyday... Its call The Morning in A Pine Forest by Ivan Shishkin (1889). So I guess that was my wish list item. I have to think of something else now I guess?? He is a Russian artist tho. I saw this painting/print in my house growing up since I was... 7 maybe? Till I left home. Just remind me of that and growing up.

Well … where should I start. I’m planing to do some custom conversations from cross stitch patterns: Waterlilies, Monet; Peonies in the Wind, Hoitsu Sakai; The Scribe, Ludwig Deutsch. Also planing to make a conversion over an ancient Egyptian wall scene. And maybe more… the possibilities are endless. Wright now I’m finishing “The Kiss” by Klimt, and eating for drills to finish “woman in gold”, also by Klimt. Beautiful pieces!

I’m a fan of John Williams Waterhouse but I like things a bit creepy so when I was looking for darker options I found “The Great Red Dragon and the woman clothed with the Sun” by William Blake and some Francisco de Goya which was so dark it may make a better option for Drills and Chills 🤷🏻♀️😂

My all time favorite Mucha art series are the panels for The Moon and Stars ( specifically the second panel). I love how flowing and dynamic they are compared to other panels that have models placed amongst stylized and graphic backgrounds and alcoves . While I have got a small version of this fantastic image from Mary’s Diamonds that focuses on a close up of the model’s face, I would love a full panel version that includes the border image.
I just finished The Kiss from Klimt. Love it! At the entrance of the Zoo in Antwerp, there are two gorgeous gold mosaics from 1903 from Henri Verbuecken, called Felis Tigris and Felis Leo. My dream is to turn these artworks into custom diamond paintings. They would look so majestic ✨

Number 1 place on my wishlist is the (rather dubiously named) painting by Abbott Handerson Thayer called A Virgin. It's a depiction of his kids, with the central figure (his oldest) as Nike. She just looks SO fierce and protective and intense, and the sense of movement is absolutely gorgeous. Despite the knowledge that I could crop/shrink it, I just don't want to. Soooo... It's not the size that's holding me back, it's the lack of suitable wall space!! 😂 Next year though, I'm doing it!!

I loved your video this week where you showed me your old masters wishlist. I too love John William Waterhouse’s Art and I would love Pandora made into a diamond painting. I also would love Destiny as well. That red dress is what drew me to that painting. How are you liking the rendering that Dreamer Designs came out with for Destiny. I had them do the mermaid by John William Waterhouse but I haven’t started on it yet. I finished starry night this morning. I only chose that one because a friend specifically asked for it once it was done. I would love to any religious old masters you would maybe see on a ceiling of an old cathedral.

I just ordered from Jade a very important canvas and a lot of sentimental feelings for me as a kid growing up starring at this image everyday... Its call The Morning in A Pine Forest by Ivan Shishkin (1889). So I guess that was my wish list item. I have to think of something else now I guess?? He is a Russian artist tho. I saw this painting/print in my house growing up since I was... 7 maybe? Till I left home. Just remind me of that and growing up.

Wright now I’m finishing “The Kiss” by Klimt, and eating for drills to finish “woman in gold”, also by Klimt. Beautiful pieces!
Great video Katie! I am currently working on the Kiss DAC. I really would like to complete Spring and Summer by Mucha and I like the Goddard piece you showed and also On the Balcony by Goddard. Also, I would love to find The Church at Auvers by Van Gogh to put on my wish list.
I mentioned this in a comment on Jessica's channel, but I'd love to do a diamond painting of Van Gogh's Sunflowers. I haven't been able to find the Diamond Dotz version in my craft store, but I would also prefer not to do a partial!

I’m a fan of John Williams Waterhouse but I like things a bit creepy so when I was looking for darker options I found “The Great Red Dragon and the woman clothed with the Sun” by William Blake and some Francisco de Goya which was so dark it may make a better option for Drills and Chills 🤷🏻♀️😂

My all time favorite Mucha art series are the panels for The Moon and Stars ( specifically the second panel). I love how flowing and dynamic they are compared to other panels that have models placed amongst stylized and graphic backgrounds and alcoves . While I have got a small version of this fantastic image from Mary’s Diamonds that focuses on a close up of the model’s face, I would love a full panel version that includes the border image.

I just finished The Kiss from Klimt. Love it! At the entrance of the Zoo in Antwerp, there are two gorgeous gold mosaics from 1903 from Henri Verbuecken, called Felis Tigris and Felis Leo. My dream is to turn these artworks into custom diamond paintings. They would look so majestic ✨
The topaz canvas you shared is also on my wish list. I absolutely love the gem series of Alphonsa Mucha. Like I have said so many times is the fact that Alphonsa Mucha is my #1 go to.
I would like Plockhorst's, The Guardian Angel (1886), showing an angel and two little children close to an abyss, I have the Guardian angel in 50x40 but i want it bigger 120x100 and the Scream by Edvard Munch(1893)in 120x100 also.

I do not have the wall space but if we are talking wish list definitely would be on my wish list :) I think I like panel size old masters more than traditional horizontal prints.
