For more performance out of your mini legend war bird try full length ailerons. The modification costs nothing and is easy. First use a ruler to draw the aileron to the length you want, you are extending the aileron out to its placement where it would be on a full scale plane. Next take sand paper, 220 grit works fine, and carefully match the grove on your planes aileron. Sand both sides of the wing, on both wings making sure that you add a bevel so that the control surface will not bind in its travel. Now take an hobby knife and cut the end of the aileron near the wing tip. Last step is to cut some thin balsa wood just big enough to fill the gap between the stock aileron and your new extension. Using a good glue bond the two surfaces together making sure that the trailing edge is strait. You will be amazed at the new role rate of your plane. You will be able to perform climbing roles with out using the stunt button. It is like having a new plane that will dance in the sky (not scale, but way more fun). Enjoy!

I am glad you and one or two more folks on CZcams give these little 400mm Warbirds some time ya know. I know these aren't what most call "Hobby Grade" and honestly the smallest Hobby Grade Aircraft to me are the UMX line, I'm sure there's some more but the UMX is what I believe are the best, small RC Airplanes under 250 grams. Saying that THESE THINGS ARE FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!! That is a awesome deal on those! I just recently got the CoursAir and Mitsubishi Zero, the new ones like those with the better paint, clear canopy and Pilot. I also believe the ECU/Giro Bord is better in these but it could just be me, I don't know so I can't say for 💯 .
So, I had a couple Older CoursAirs, P-51's, BF-109's FW-190's, and the first Zero that came out and I have started to take and weather the finish with a couple TAMIYA Weathering Master Kits that were for Tanks and Ships and Aircraft.
My Daughter and me will get out in font of the house and have Dogfights, one day it's a BF-109 or FW-190 VS the Mustang and I forgot my Spitfire (can't believe I forgot my Spit) anyway then the next day it's a CoursAir VS Zero 😂 the folks passing by the house probably thinks we are either flipping nuts 🤣 or that Daughter and Dad have the best time together in the afternoons and when she is out of school in the early mornings.
The little 400mm Warbird Series to me is absolutely AWESOME! I love flying my UMX's and bigger Bush Planes and Warbirds but these are a BLAST!!!!

@RCSaylors Is the prop shaft angled down on yours? Mine came angled down. Also in noticed mine is tail heavy even with the battery. So it may not even be good to fly in manual for me.

Hello from Suwannee Florida....I just wanted to say Thank you for sharing your videos with us. I am ground vehicle person but Love to build stuff, I have built most of the Flite Test aircraft and attempted to fly most of them and crashed every time....after going back through some of your Older videos I came across the Sport Cub S 2 and have it on order from my hobby shop....sorry I could not use your link because I had to use affirm to purchase it. ...I will give you an update on how my retry at flying goes...Thanks again for what you bring to such a great hobby....we need to get more of the younger generation involved and maybe they might put down their darn phones.....

Honestly it doesn’t. Higher price = less people buy it. Lower price = more people buy it. We are just super grateful for anyone that supports us, whether it’s expensive, or more budget friendly stuff! Even just watching our videos is a grate way to support us and we are grateful 🙏 I believe I don’t own one of those radios just because I personally enjoy flying Eflite planes the most on average. If I’m choosing something to go fly for fun, 90% of the time that’ll be it. Not insanely expensive, but still high quality. These little planes are just too cool to pass up! I really should buy one of those radios! 👍😎⚓️

They should have the expert mode still have gryo even without the angle restrictions so it’s like the Eflite UMX micros.
I tried to order using your code...and once again being in Canada bolloxed things...US warehouse can't ship to Canada for some reason, and the code only works with the US warehouse. I ordered one anyways as I have some spare cash. It will be coming on the literal slow boat from China...May get it before September. But by then, it will be much cooler...today it was 40 degrees Celsius (104 F!) with the humidex.

Totally disgusted with Banggood ordered on the day the video came out, then today they informed me that the plane is out of stock i informed them the it wasnt when I placed the order they refunded me and told me to buy from the CN warehouse. Remember Hobbyking and Banggood prices 3-4 Years ago. 2019 i bought a Volantex Ranger (2000mm) Plugn´n Fly at Banggood for under $100.-! That was Cheap! Damn 3 Years ago!!! And now you're cheering for toy planes for the same prize!

Respectfully? I have to disagree with this being the best RC for its price range. Now before I just s*it on the Volantex RC as a whole, let me state the positives first: One, it is very easy to assemble and set up. Two, it is fairly well made and durable. And Three, it is a decent, albeit a very light flyer for the price range, which also is reasonable ($110 and under, depending on a sale) and for a "third and a half" a decent flight time (8 to 15 min depending on flight conditions, battery life, and battery size and weight.
Overall? A decent little package for the price. But now for the negatives (and there are a few): First, the landing gear is poor fitting and basically useless even for a "crash in the grass". Also, the plastic fittings on the wings WILL break after a few rough landings. You are better off just leaving them off and hand launching and soft grass landing. Second, be very careful of the pushrods for the ailerons! They can get snagged and can potentially break off the plastic linkage on the servo. The elevators and rudder servos are better protected. And the most glaring is a safety issue. When you are finished flying , or are changing the battery, you have no "Master Off" cutoff switch to the aircraft. If you turn off the radio while having a battery with a charge in it, it can potentially run the engine (can hurt your fingers) and the 6 axis stabilizers are still active and trying to level the plane despite no control. That is completely unacceptable!! Volantex couldn't be bothered to install a kill switch to the aircraft? The only way to shut the airplane completely down is to remove the battery. And constant mechanical connect/disconnect on the battery connect will eventually wear and break the pins. I wired my own cutoff switch to my T-28 Trojan, and routed a micro switch to the side of the aircraft. It isn't pretty, but it does make it safer. Also, if you do train on these airplanes, get a better radio!! The sticks are crap and the throttle/rudder control doesn't even have a spring to center the throttle, or a friction lock to give you resistance. Get a Jumper, or a radio capable of either Bind n Fly or function clone.
I know this is long ,but for the money, a little more would have gone a long way. This is my second Volantex Warbird, as my first Warbird (Japanese Zero) the radio was intermittent after about the fifth flight. Now their customer service was decent, and they sent me a replacement airplane (T-28 Trojan) but you do get what you pay for and if you really are not into hand launch and park flyers? Go with a Brand like Buddy or FlyZone. If this one doesn't work out, I'm going with a Buddy. It costs more, but does give you better quality and features.
