You are correct about the props on what you said. The 2 blade gives more speed and the 4 blade is for agility and maneuvers. Very cool little bird! I was smiling along with you guys watching.. there's just something about that P-51 airframe that's timeless.

Love your enthusiasm. These planes got me into R/C flying from cars and boats. Now I have more of these planes than the rest put together. Almost indestructible. Great fun. Not going to harm anything. I tend to fly really low and close to myself because you can. And you can practice so many challenges. I especially go out on different weather, windy days to test my skills, hover, fly backwards, and go super fast etc. I've remodelled some into different colours (Zero, Kittyhawk). My Mustang has just today completed its 69th flight day video and still somehow going strong even after five major crashes that ejected the engine - I just glue it back in and away we go. Only changed the prop saver. After over 200 days flying my squadron (6 Spitfires, 4 Mustangs, 2 Corsairs, 2 Bf109s, Zero, FW190, 2 P40s) I am still having such fun. I used to be a model railway channel, now R/C planes more.

They're pretty fun. It's tempting to buy too many of them and not focus on the other aspects of the hobby. I fly RC and Control Line. I need to work on my Control Line fleet but I've been playing with these little buggers instead. They don't weigh anything and the foam they're formed out of is very resilient. I have only broken one prop after many arrivals that would have damaged others and THEN it was only because I went full throttle into a tree. (big gust of wind, plane just went 5 feet sideways).
When I was in junior high building scale WWII plastic models, I used to dream about putting electric motors in them with batteries and flying them but it was just a dream. These look better then my models did (no artsy tendencies in my bones evidently) and actually fly like I pretend back then. So fly em, then put them on the shelf or hang them from the ceiling. Look ma, I'm 12 again.

probably a little overpriced for a foamy but that gyro does look pretty sweet
we used to just use engines to get up to gliding altitude on our foam flying wings, if you can find a good ridge that faces the wind direction, ridge soaring is a lot of fun. Seagulls do it for a laugh I think

@@Rek_Rc its harder to find a ridge with the wind exactly perpendicular than you might think, but it means you can just zig-zag back and forth without going anywhere. There's a nice bowl that makes an updraft near me, but its rarely blowing the right direction for the effect

very kewl little plane. That gyro system is really good at keeping the plane level. Keep in mind, smaller planes don't really like windy days. Bigger planes handle wind MUCH better. Of course, bigger planes cost a lot more. For the money, that's a heck of a plane and great for a beginner. (the flappy things are ailerons)
