- I drilled holes in my brand new kayak! You knew I would :^)
That's part of the reason kayaks are so much fun; You can personalize them with pvc, milk crates and bungee cords. So much easier then big motor boats! And now it's even easier to make Pelican's kayaks as individual as you are. Parts and accessories are available to buy right from the manufacturer so you can outfit your kayak with a rudder or motor and other various parts without voiding your hull's lifetime warrantee. Now if you're cutting the handles off like I did in this video and adding crazy parts like you've seen me do in some of my older videos, then you're on your own!

Marty, I’ve been with your channel from the beginning. You’ve come so far from the red kayak days. But I’ll say, you’ve never lost your sense of innovation over all these years. Pelican did their self a favor bringing you on board their company. You bring so much to the table. Out of all the people I follow, I would like to meet you the most. Love your videos, bought a catch 130 first edition in 2017 after watching your reviews, bought a crosstrek so sold that because i put a Torqeedo motor on the back pushing it to 90lbs and wasnt comfortable loading that on my back window roller. Ill be buying this kayak, love their kayaks, i bass fish and need to stand up to be able to cast into tight spots, this will do great.

What's better than that! Being out in beautiful weather, in your vessel that you setup. No two kayaks are the same. I love all my add-ons, accessories, DIY's, and my New PP 768 Bixpy J2 motor that i just received. Testing my $300 trailer from harbor freight this weekend. I did some mods so my kayak and trailer can get backed into my garage. This sport is just plain awesome. 🎣 🌊🛶
I bought a Bonafied ss107 , Huge boat for a 10 footer the catch looks modified similar, would love to try one out. Hope to see you again

Nice setup. What are the parts that would be similar for the catch 120/100? I know the cradle would not work but I am sure you would make it work. I am really interested in hand control vs peddle control.

I just returned my pelican sentinel 100x angler for this the very next day I bought the sentinel. Didn’t even use it, I just knew I’d want this instead lol I’m so excited for this weekend

What size pvc should I use to add extensions rod holders to my catch 100 classic?
So I've got this same kayak and I want to add 2 more rigging rails and a mooring cleat but not sure how to add them since there isn't an internal access point. In other words, how can I add something with a nut and bolt if I can't reach inside the kayak? Did you just drill a pilot hole and use screws instead of nuts and bolts?

I have a mini power pole and I want to use it as a stake out pole. Problem is the scuppers are just a tad too small? Do I risk the integrity of the kayak drilling them out a hair?

Im torn between this and an Outlaw 11.5. Unless there is a big dealer network for Perception here in Canada, the Pelican might be the only choice.

I’m a new subscriber and I purchased (2) Pelican Catch Mode 110 kayaks and would like to modify the rudder system as you have. Do you have the (3) part numbers so I can be sure I’ve purchased the correct parts?
Pelican customer service advised that I would void the warranty by switching from a skeg to a rudder. I don’t care about the warranty. I’ll make them into raised bed gardens and grow herbs if they’re no longer useful on the water. 🤣
