    Do you know how it compares with the previous model, the CLP 685 (in particular regarding the keyboard action)?

    Thank you very much for your explanations. This instrument is impressive! Clearly CLP 785 is my target and I can´t wait to have it! But I´m still waiting... any idea when they (Yamaha) are going to distribute this marvel?

    I like the Bösendorfer sound I have to admit and find the harpsichord less good than 40 years ago on their first Clavinovas. It was even imitating the plucking of the strings, if I may say.....amazing this was.

    if you play the historical voices, you should probably also change the temperament.

    These new digital pianos spell the death of the acoustic piano for the average consumer.

      Digital piano make more parent affordable them and more children are able to learn music and more piano teachers are needed on market.

    This or Kawai CA99... i'm undecided.

    • @Dajlec
      @Dajlec Před 3 lety +3

      If I would no read soooooooo many complaints regarding quality issues with ca99 I would take it. Buzzing speakers, clicky keys.....action is lighter than on clp785 and should mimic grand more than clp785.
      Ca99 also has soundboard which aome people praise...clp785 is more powerful and has spruce speakers of a very high quality..
      Due to binaural sampling headphone experience is amazing.
      Peraonally, I will pribably not risk it with ca99 due to all I've read...

      @@Dajlec I simply don't trust Kawai. Always prefered Yamaha, for digital and acoustic pianos. They may not be the most innovative brand out there, but at least they're always reliable. I sold my Yamaha P515 few months ago and now I only own acoustic pianos, but Yamaha's digital piano was definitely a great experience for me. Loved everything on my P515.

    It is silly to recreate old piano sounds.
