    Great video. Thanks for posting this. I have a Clavinova CLP-585 I purchased in 2016 and I absolutely love it! The new features sound really awesome in the CLP-775. The Bluetooth feature is cool. Wish the 585 had that! I've always played on acoustic pianos and had to sell mine when I moved into my apartment. The Clavinova has been a great investment. The ability to wear headphones and play what looks and feels just like a traditional acoustic piano is wonderful. I'd buy another Clav in a heartbeat!

    I bought a CLP 675 and love the action and sound. Even though it is behind this one I still love it.

    I got a great deal on a polished white CLP 785 last year (6mth old) and haven't regretted it a single day. Normally I wouldn't want to pay the full price but for the money, incredible instrument. I tested the Kawai CA99 too and was blown away by it's sound, but was a little disappointed by it's sounds through the headphones (where I practise the most). Binaural sampling from Yamaha though, quite amazing.

      But the touch and Key action is better in the Kawai CA99, than the Yamaha CLP 775/785, right?

    I bought one in Polished Ebony finish and I absolutely love it.
    Best experienced by playing pieces which use both deep lows and piercing highs, the beautiful and extremely powerful sound system really shines in these pieces.
    On top of the wonderful sound system it has a very realistic action, and is simply a joy to play whether through headphones or through the speakers.

      What about the keyboard? How does the "touch" compare to a real piano?

      May I ask what other pianos you were able to try before deciding on this one? I'd like to hear how it compares to, say, the Kawai CA 99 and NV5S.

      @@Han-uz1tl Hey Han, the closest Kuwai dealer to me was over 1000 Km's away so I didn't try any of their product. I did however try out the LX8 and 6 from Roland and frankly the Yamaha simply blew them away in every conceivable aspect.

    In future videos can you please label the voice you're playing. Like, CFX, Bosendorfer, Fortepiano 1, etc. Thanks.
    The piano sample for the 700 series is a bit nicer and more alive than the 600 series which was a nice improvement over the 500 series. I do expect the 800 series to sample the newest CFX which has made some changes to its sound profile and is even more dynamic and sensitive.

    How do you compare the action with the CA79? I've read many complain about the 775 action considered "too heavy" what is your experience?

    • @theclaycave91
      @theclaycave91 Před rokem +2

      Hi Marco. I owned the CA 79 and now I own the clp 775. In my opinion the keyboard action on the 775 are quite perfekt. The keys on the 79 are definitely very good, absolutely, but they were a little bit too lite for my taste.
      The black keys are actually made of plastic on the clp 775, but to be honest..I don´t feel any difference between at all. I would say that the length is more important than material that the key is made of. And the clp 775 has long keys.
      I remember when I practiced on my ca 79 and then played on my teachers upright piano, that there were huge difference in the keyboard action. It was quite hard to play on my teachers piano because the keys felt so much heavier.
      So I prefer the slightly heavier keyboard action that the Yamaha clp gives you. It is heavier than Kawai´s action but definitely not too heavy.

    Why not make a video of the best digital piano, to look for. Every review is "for beginners" or "budget" or under "USD1000! and so on. U get the point. I am looking for a real good nice home digital piano, and no one makes such a review.
