    Great video... After 20 years of owning Roland I have just switched over to Yamaha :) P.S. loved the K.545 arrangement - Mozart himself would be impressed :)

    13:13 There is no Scarlatti’s K 746, he wrote just 555 sonatas.... XD
    I have an acoustic Yamaha JU109, but is always out of tune, so Im looking for a digital piano, and the 700 series sounds amazing!

    Is the backing track is from the Genos or CVP? Or from the clp 700 series?

    I hear there's a CLP 725 to be released spring 2021...any info please.

    I own a CLP 535 and have massive problems with the key sensors. The rubbers wear out every year so you will hear that some keys will hit with max volume from time to time (when played softly, you get 127/127 max output!), which makes it unplayable. Its not only mine, its a common Yamaha problem. Is it fixed in the CLP-700 Series already?

  • @sid827

    Why no upgrade for CLP 625

  • @SugarTouch
    @SugarTouch Před 4 lety +1

    I have 535 at home and tried 700 (mini-grand) and 700 sounds _significally_ better. It's just right in front of you! MUCH MORE BETTER. I use my notebook and 535 only as midi keyboard because of on-board sound. But 700 is real deal !!! If it's important for you to use instrument by itself (no power notebook and VST's etc) - this update is definitely must have !

      Most likely, you tried the 700 series of *CVP,* and not the *CLP,* which is not yet available for ordinary users anywhere. So, CLP-700 series will be even better than CVP-700 series from piano perspective, already at least because CLP-700 series offers additional Bösendorfer *binaural* sample. Not to mention the improved main samples, Real Grand Expression 2, keyboard etc.

    CLP-600 series lack some modern features. 700 series totally updated it!

    Can you do a comparison between the new CLP775 and the CLP675?

      A CLP-725 did mistakenly appear on one of Yamaha's websites, but they've fixed it. No point in posting details here as Yamaha might just delete the comment. So, let Yamaha bring the news when they feel like it.

      From what I've read on a french site it will be released at the beginning of 2021. Grand Touch-S action too.

      I don't think a CLp725 has been announced. The entry model is the CLP 735 ( to my knowledge).

    The fact that the speaker's ability cannot be demonstrated unless it is played at a fairly high volume. ..

    What do you know? Waltzing Matilda still aweful, even after a lot of tarting up!
    Note: CLP 775 music stand way too high, makes your neck ache, (quite a lot).

    • @effyleven
      @effyleven Před 2 lety

      @Yamaha Music Australia I had a Challen double overstrung Baby Grand for 25 years, so I know about grand pianos. I can assure you the 775 music stand is 3½" nearly 4" higher, which is a good deal... especially if you are only a little kiddie looking up to the top line and constantly checking down to hand position.
      Yes. The music stand of 775 is notably higher than other Clavinovas.. and other electric pianos generally. (Look where it is on 785)
      However, I love the "disappearing" control panel. That is one heckuva classy interface! And the piano looks very swanky in polished ebony.
