Last summer my buddy and I set out to climb Gannett Peak, the high point in the state of Wyoming. I had climbed the Grand Teton a couple years prior and had been hoping to make a trip for Gannett since then. We finally made it happen and it was a great trip with a little lightening mixed in!

It's been a while! 22' was a bit of a whirlwind but we managed to get this fun trip done during the summer. Hope ya'll enjoyed joining us!
Blast from my past. Climbed that around 40 years ago as a teenager as a camper and then counselor working for a wilderness camp in the Winds. Spent most of my teenage years in that beautiful area. Thanks for taking me back. Snow level much lower than I remember of course. Last time I was in the area, (cirque of towers about 15 years ago) it was already so crowded. The beautiful unknown has been found. Just nothing like high mountain lakes. Thanks for taking me along.
The weather is good.
Woah! Love the stream and nature sounds
Wow! What a beautiful, exciting and a bit scary, at times, hike. What a fantastic memory to make. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! It was a memorable trip, glad I could share it with you.

Thanks! To you too🎉
That was absolutely amazing! Thanks for taking us along.
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed it🙏🏼
What route did you guys take? I attempted from the glacier trail on the Dubois side. It was about 70+ miles. We went over Labor Day and got stuck at the bergschrund near the top. Your route seemed quicker. Great video.
We did the Titcomb Basin route from the other side. It was a bit shorter than the glacier trail route but it has a little more elevation change, specifically the saddle that you have to go up and over. I really enjoyed the route we did, such beautiful country!
Thanks! Take care.
Well done Chris! How much experience do you need for this type of climbing? Would love to summit Gannett down the line. Those clouds looked scary though!
Sweet video. Hoping to take a trip out there this summer to tackle Gannett with some buddies. Any advice or "shoulda-coulda-woulda" beta?
Love the Mutant Pack too, that things rad.
I'm leaving for the same route/climb in 3 weeks. How much/what of your anchors did you end up using?
I don’t think we used any.
What time of year did you do this?
What type of hiking / trail boots or shoes do you recommend?
I’ve found the Salomon 4d GTX to be a great all around boot option. It’s tough to find something that works well everywhere (and lasts a long time) but those have been pretty great.
Check out my video on them if you’d like!
Im not leaving a hate comment lol
I appreciate it anyways😉
would you like to get some free ligt bar ?
*promosm* 🙌
Should've titled the video we almost died, your views are tanking bro and I think it's because your titles are so long, you need some eye candy for people to get interested but not too much so it doesn't tell the whole story
