Truth be told, I think it needs to gain off of NEARBY kills rather than it's own. And give growing spell mastery or something.
A Mortis engine effect would help it quite a bit too! What I use it for are flank/rear charges with it's terror... seems to be about the only thing it's good at is moral shocks.
Yeah Black Coach even in SFO still feels bad… its a chariot that doesn’t do chariot things as well as other chariots

side note: the coach is pretty decent at sneaking thru battle lines to get to archers and such and they dont get hung up on piles of melee units so they can reliably get into ranged units...that is really about it....and if you have a necro near them they have decent sustain in prolonged engagements...but ya i dont get them often either....

I never really liked the idea of SFO until now and I usually just take some QOL mods tbh, but these two SFO campaigns seemed really interesting. Great way to spice up things after all the combined playtime in WH 1-2-3. Basically knowing the ins and outs of every game mechanic after a while makes especially long campaigns stale a bit, and this brings some welcome changes. Love it!

Recently finished a Vlad the Dad SFO campaign. TLDR: Heimreich decided he wanted to be an absolute unit and conquer all of bretonia and 1/3 of the empire by the time I reached altdorf. Gave me a good laugh since I’m used to him just getting bullied
I agree about the black coach. I disband it after the 1st turn 1 battles. Dogs, bats, zombles, skele boys are all more useful and cheaper.
Also, looking forward to another Badly Disguised Werewolf campaign. May he bring doom to your enemies.

In my own headcanon the black coach has Isabellas father inside, writhing and trying to escape but never will. And Vlad and Isabella just take him along just for the laughs.

With skeletons, left to imagination is, how they looked when they had their organs and skin.
The money building seems to reduce factionwide upkeep for basic infantry so i imagine that is meant to compensate for giving very lil money

My only complaint about watching you play is when you do the level ups for characters
If you assign a skill point and then click the next character thumbnail it saves that assignment without having to close out of the skill tree then click the next character and open the skill tree again

SFO has a lot of cool units, abilities, banners, fluff. I love that part of it.
Venris deciding everything in the entire game down to your buildings should have kiss/curse mechanics is the part that I hate. A lot..

It’s now becoming funny to as where the rest of th campaign is.
About the non-fantasy TW games since MA mentioned them, while I do love Warhammer and play it the most I found myself really enjoying Three Kingdoms and Troy a ton. For Troy it got more fun once the Mythological units were added because it added a fun side element to the game which mixed things up nicely and Three Kingdoms was great but I hate how fast they ended the DLC support for that game which if that's a complaint means it must have been fun at least to me anyway.
I’m still waiting for the rest of the Malakai campaign. It is after all the only one I wanted to see when the dlc came out.

Can I endorse playing very hard battle difficulty also?
Just put the enemy buffs to the hard level.
There are some strategies the AI only uses on very hard difficulty, so I’ve found it to be a positive challenge.

Obviously, this type of thing is something you've been doing for a fair while now, and you do you it is what it is. And i get you put this episode out to garner interest to get more people on the old patreon, but (i know the but had come) i saw this, and i got excited to watch it but then i found out the rest was locked behind a pay wall and that was a bit of a bummer, and i fully understand that you have a family and need to earn money so i dont have an issue with this whatsoever just to make that clear, id just rather not see the video come up and and get excited for something thats a long ways away, again i know you gotta make money and all that jazz this is just my 2 cents which you totally never asked for haha so i will kindly and politely fuck off. (Full disclosure i own the game and play it regularly. i just like watching yours and others' content on the game)
I don't like these complete overhauls. It feels like they are desperate to change everything and anything for no reason other than being desperate even if it's for the worse. I prefer to use mods that fix the individual problems I have with the game.

Considering he's played over 100 campaigns for this CZcams thing of his, I'd say using overhaul mods to spice things up is reasonable to avoid him getting bored of this game.

@Ankhtowe Ah, I haven't used it since twwh2, and I stopped then because of how miserable they made the economy for certain factions. The hyperfixation on raiding economies for pretty much every "evil" factions making empire building really weak for factions like the Dark Elves. Only being able to afford 1 decent army with 3 full provinces making the reduced upkeep blue skill line essential to rush on every lord got annoying.
But that's just my personal preferences at the end of the day.
