The autoresolve power on these bears is insane
Kislev is generally ridiculous in auto, not just the bears... but the bears are the most ridiculous.

@@BittermanAndy Kislev is just ridiculous all around right now. Even in multiplayer, I’d go as far as to say they’re the best multiplayer faction right now.
I outplayed this Kislev player almost every turn with the empire, I obliterated his bear riders with guns, caught his cavalry and sled blob and got halberds on them and systematically started to break his infantry that used all of its ammo into some spearmen with shields. But he had patriarchs that provided healing and I made *one* mistake. My general got to low health because I didn’t notice that there were streltsi and I didn’t know that war sleds are stupid as hell because even with being shot up and attacked by both empire knights and halberds they still somehow survived and were able to finish off my general.
And so since the state troopers are pretty much a bunch of Skaven they abandoned my poor guns that did their best but in the end got obliterated. Also I should’ve killed his general twenty times, but the unholy Kislev healing kept her in when she was grossly out of position. Kislev is rough to play against right now, but with the coming thunderbarge I feel like dwarves are going to be worse.
Don't you think Boris should be able to recruit normal bears on his own 🤔
Well, he has a bear as his partner. So, why not
If you use mods, there's one that lets you recruit bears from the hallowed forest.

1:56 the best auto resolve ever! Those Khorne daemons really couldn't *Bear* with Boris' ambush.
This is the POLARD opposite of what he expected, but he managed the BEAR it.
Tzeentch factions can target your army and force 3 chaos spawn into it with their shennanigans. You can also do it to allies, I love dumping spawn into friends in co-op campaigns that are having money issues
While unconventional, you can probably bankrupt someone with spawn
Only vilitch can do it with his changing of the ways

I always specialize Vilitch on spawns and fill his army with them using that skill, makes for an easy early game.
To answer your question - yes, the Chaos Spawn are a Tzeentch thing, specifically one of Vilitch's Changing of the Ways options. If you're wondering how he could target your army to do it, that's a great question, I had a campaign where I was in Athel Loren on turn 3 and Vilitch used it on one of my armies despite, ya know, not being even remotely near him or aware of his faction at all.
I have a feeling Villitch is just always aware of the player but can only use that specific changing of the ways and nothing else, unless the player encounters him.
@@TheChefEgg I actually think that maybe AI Vilitch uses the “Reveal Shroud” CotW ability to meet a lot of factions super early, and it MIGHT be possible without AI cheats if he happens to use “Reveal Shroud” on a Cathayan faction just as their Caravans happen to be close enough to see the player.

I had a co-op game a little bit ago, one of my allies was playing Reikland, and he was struggling against the beastman faction near there (SFO gives them quite a few buffs) for a while, when suddenly he got a set of Spawn in his army, which turned the tide back where he could make some gains again! Just, SO out of nowhere, and we had no clue how it happened for a while, but it saved him, lol.

Since the 4.0 Kislev got new province commandment, available only in chaos waste climate, which turns all of the province into green climate. I think, but am not sure that in subsequent fix patches they expanded the commandment to any province consisting of at least 1 settlement with chaos waste climate.
It did, but it only affects the chaos wastes regions. So if its mixed with wasteland or something else in the province those are still yellow and red.
The Scotish joke nearly killed me, I was not ready for that hahah
the chaos spawn thing is a faction ability that Vilitch has: give a bunch of chaos spawn to ANY army (of your choosing)
so for some reason he chose your army, probably because you fought someone he hates or possibly just at random

Does Vilitch also have the Reveal Faction, or whatever it's called, changing of the ways?
I think he just GIVES you 3 chaos spawn if your army isnt full.
@@phoenixblaze5491 This seems to be correct. Also, I believe the ability says that it “adds up to 3 Chaos Spawn”, but in my uses of it it’s always added 3, no matter the situation or army, rather than ever adding less.

Yesterday I played as the Ice Court and I had a lord in Praag. Randomly he also got some chaos spawn in his army.

To be honest when i first played kislev i thought the bears where too powerful but i don't mind because i like kislev .
i always hated when a game forced me to fight and kill a bear. that happens weirdly often sadly a lot of developers have grudges against bears for some odd reason. mostly MMOs. now its payback time! remember the old saying: what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. except the bear. the bear fucking kills you
