LEARN HOW TO MAKE AN EASY AND QUICK WHITE BEAN SPINACH DIP RECIPE BETTER THAN HUMMUS!
LAY HO MA (how's it going in Cantonese)! Whether you're hosting or just looking for a movie snack, this recipe is sure to be a winner! Join me in this episode and learn how to make a delicious white bean and spinach dip tonight! Let's begin!
Ingredients:
1 onion
2 pieces garlic
400ml canned artichokes
400ml canned cannellini beans
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
120g spinach
1 cup cashews
1 cup water
1 cup shredded plantbased cheese
serve with crusty bread, crackers, or chips
Directions:
1. Dice the onion and roughly chop the garlic. Squeeze out the water from the canned artichokes. Rinse and drain the canned cannellini beans
2. Heat up a sauté pan to medium heat. Add the avocado oil followed by the onions. Sauté for 4-5mins. Add the salt, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine the amazing flavours. Add the artichokes, cannellini beans, and spinach. Sauté for a few minutes
3. In a high powered blender, liquify the cashews and water. Then, transfer the sautéed veggies into the blender. Pulse a few times, then transfer the dip to a baking dish
4. Set the oven to 375F. Spread over your favourite shredded plantbased cheese and bake for 15mins. Then, broil on low for a few minutes until the cheese is a slight golden brown. Serve with crackers, chips, or crusty bread

Hey Wil, I would really appreciate some pointers on how to select the "most correct" Vitamix blender. There are so many models and series that all seem like variations on the same thing. However, maintaining so many models is non-trivial, so there must be some reason they all exist, and by extension, it's not just a throw a dart and pick one decision, especially given the longevity. I thought I'd decided on the 5200, then I saw that the 5300 might be good. And then the 750. But what about the 7500? I could make up some numbers. I've never said this about a sponsor before, but if you did a video explaining the Vitamix product roadmap, I think a lot of people would actually watch it. I wouldn't pick a random Vitamix any more than I'd pick a random electric car.
A little splash of chili oil would make this right as rain.
Is there a substitute for the cashews? Thank you!
My family loves your channel!
Thanks for teaching us so well. We love the presentation.
Who composes the music? We enjoy this as well.
Thanks for your awesome energy and generosity of sharing your skills and wisdom!
Love your recipe. But can I use say Almond milk or other types of milk instead of cashew ?
I just found out that Staples(office supply store) will remove the spine and add a spiral bind instead. I’m doing this to all of his three cook books. The cost is under $5!
Very cool & handy info.
I have done that with all my cookbooks. It is amazing how well it works.
@@CawfeeTalkNow it’s awesome!
Thank you!!!
Vitamix fixed and reconditioned my blender free of charge including shipping. It was 18 years old!
@Cindy-eq3sb did you just call them to set that up?. Mine is 21 yrs old.
That’s incredible 🙌🏻
@@scottiegal2529 yes. I called customer service
Wow thats awesome!! I love a brand that's true to their word and knows the value of their product and customers!!
Do you think Vitamin would do anything about a cloudy bowl that won't succumb to either the white vinegar method or the baking soda and water method?
That is one interesting recipe! I’ll try this out. My son, a vegan, visits this summer, he lives in Tokyo. This will be a neat addition to the vegan dishes I prepare when he’s home.
this is very unhealthy with the High fat Processed vegan cheese, added oil and a whole cup of cashews! Look it up, tons of fat and empty calories.
I also use whipped cannelini beans as a thickener in dressings and sauces.
You're a nice parent. :)
This comment is so cute! Thank you for trying vegan recipes for your son.
Love is love❤
What a worthy presenter for Vitamix. They are lucky to have you..
Oh wow! So kind of you ☺️
Oh, my. Spanish guitar AND asmr? You, sir, are a champ!
I thought the same. Bliss !
I bought a certified refurbished vitamix 5 years ago now. It's still going strong. It is an upfront expense. But, if you buy the refurbished ones, you save hundreds of dollars. So, don't think they're out of your reach without doing research. Just a thought for those who may not normally be able to justify the brand new cost. Love your videos
Most of the refurbished ones are ex trade show demo models. All they do is replace the 'jug' (for lack of a better term). You get a shorter warranty but you can extend to 7 years I think... Bought my brother one as a gift years ago, he loves it. I have a Kitchen Aid one and it is 'OK' destroyes the rubber gear things on a regular basis and does not have the power of the Vitamix. Still trying to rationalise awapping out the Kitchen Aid for a Vitamix... might have to go for it and donate the KA to a charity shop along with a bag of the rubber gear drive cogs that it strips.
I've had a refurbished Vitamix since 2007 no problems until recently. Even refurbished it had a 7 year warranty. 16 years before any problem and I used it near daily.
I need to contact them about service. The unit works, but no more variable speed. Which means it definitely doesn't work well. Hard to get smooth and makes a huge mess on the inside lid. Beyond time to call.
I have an ancient Vitamix - I think it's nearly 20 years old - it doesn't have the fancy digital display. And it's still going strong. I've never had a single problem with it, so I'm sure you'll get many years from your refurbished model.
Your videos are so nicely done. I watch them to relax before I go to sleep. Only problem is I wind up getting hungry at bedtime 😂. Thank you.
Will, I’ve been alongside since the beginning and you are still churning out videos with recipes I love the look of. Your format is perfect. You still have me hooked.
Oh wow! We’ve been cooking together for such a long time and a pleasure having you here. Wonderful to hear how much you are enjoying 🙌🏻👨🏻🍳🥳
I moved to a farm in 2005 that had a vitamix from the 70s that was still working fine. My daughter borrowed mine last week to make a special soup, and I may have to fight her because she hasn't returned it yet. 😂
What a great take on the old cheesy artichoke dip! I love your recipes because it's obvious you are a REAL cook, not just following recipes. Everything you make looks good and right.
I absolutely loooove your channel. Sol warming,so welcoming, and you waste no time and tasting your food. That's what I'm looking for, and my favorite part is the description of the dish. It makes my day😊
Your videos have inspired me to start my journey towards a healthier relationship with food. I've been following some of your recipes and I'm starting to gain some healthy weight I really appreciate your work and want to let you know that you are making a difference in people's lives
Oh wow! It is a pleasure to be cooking together and happy to hear you are enjoying ☺️🙌🏻
if you want healthy, use a healthy oil, not canola. His recipes are awesome
@@linebrunelle1004 yes I mostly use avocado or olive oil
Mr. Yeung, in addition to your fabulous vids, great production and wonderful recipes, I must congratulate you on your correct pronunciation of "saute" - every time I hear you say it, I am transported back in time 60 YEARS (!) to my high school French class and our amazing Miss Murray (R.I.P.). Thank you so much for such a quality channel. Many Blessings to you and yours. ❤
I love my Vitamix. I actually needed a blade replacement because mine did break off but the company was wonderful. they sent me a new canister right away. I have no issues and I love the texture of everything I put in my Vitamix! it truly is the best.
Thank you for your calming voice.
Yum, that's definitely a cut above hummus. A must try.
I’m still using my Vita Mix I got in 1986 works great
I have the bread blade, it will make flour from wheat berries ❤️it!!!!
That’s amazing 💯
I do adore spinach dip, good to see another take. :D
The best! 🙌🏻
Spinach & artichoke dip is a classic for a reason; hot or warm dips are underrated!
They are just so good 😌
@@YEUNGMANCOOKINGcould you sub the cashew cream for coconut cream Or another sub?
This looks great, I've been doing a Tuscan White Bean Soup with the Cannellinis and I love how creamy they are so I will definitely try this one! If anyone can't find them, a good substitution is Great Northern Beans which you can find at most supermarkets and Trader Joe's.
I was lucky enough that my work for a 20 year gift gave me a Vitamix and it truly is the Rolls Royce of blenders, i went through so many Ninjas.
I am speechless! I cannot describe how absolutely delicious, mouthwateringly scrumptiouso this dip is!
One tweak, I used whey for the cashew milk...cos I had it!
(Sauteed garlic w the onions.)
Next time this recipe gets doubled!
And I can definitely bring this to a dinner party...as long as it sits next to me!👍🏻💖
I have not ventured into the world of cooking with cashews, but will start with this recipe. Very excited…thank you 🙏
You are in for a treat 🙌🏻🥳😎
Look forward to trying this...Can you please do a video on preparing "Chicken Pot Stickers?"😊 Love your work!
This looks SO GOOD!
I love your recipes! Thank you!! ❤
OMG this sounds good! 👍
thanks as always Will! love your show and recipes❤❤
Looks/sounds delicious!
Just the look on your face when you took a bite…sells it!! Nut allergy means no cashews for me, but I will find a good substitute!
Yes. I would be interested too
Can you have soy cream, or even coconut cream ?
@@Lyran7 Yes. Need to find a brand with the taste and texture I like. Any recs?
@@laurar9748 I am actually watching from England so I'm unlikely to be helpful here, but on the off chance you're in the UK or have some of the same brands where you are, Oatley do a single style oat cream which would work, the coconut collab have a pretty neutral coconut cream, alpro have a single soy cream, and elmlea have single and double soy cream. I hope you can get hold of some!
What about walnuts?
Looks amazing ❤
I have all your cookbooks. I have tried so many of the recipes. I'm working my way through them… I have not been disappointed with any of these recipes. You are a hero in my household. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with the world. My family is healthier and happier now that we have you. Kamsahamnida!!

Exellent tooo gooood many thanks bless to your family
I made this dip over the weekend and loved it.
I didn't realize I was out of artichoke hearts so I just used another can of beans instead.
I added the vegan cheese and decided to stir it in & then bake. It was delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
Just made this and it’s absolutely outstanding
My co workers devoured this!

Suggestions for a cashew/nut substitute for the creamy sauce component?
My daughter has a nut allergy. I’ll be trying this recipe with sunflower seeds instead. It’s worked well for us in other recipes.
Yum! And wow I never thought of that way of cleaning a blender! Thank you!
This looks so amazing, my mouth is watering.
Oh absolutely delicious! I need to get my kitchen back and make some of these wonderful recipes.💜🌞

Love the background music and your voice! Makes for a mesmerizing video ❤
Looks good.
Absolutely ..wow❤
Lovely recipe. Thanks Will. Your face said it all when you tasted your dish.
Forever grateful. Before I discovered the channel a few months ago I knew nothing about using cashews in dishes like this dip. Now, "with confidence" I do not fear experimenting with them to get that special creamy nutty texture and flavour. This dip looks amazing, will be in the menu in a few days. 💖💖💖
That is so wonderful to hear 🙌🏻😎
Can't wait to try it. You amaze me with your super creative scrumptious recipes. Thanks Wil 😊 Anastasia South Africa

Never thought I could make a dip with artichokes. Thank you.
Check out the spinach and artichoke dips from the early 80's, classic and oh so rich. This is much healthier.
