    for anybody trying to lose weight , be careful with any nuts, seeds etc because they are usually very calorie dense and you can really only eat very small amounts at best if your trying to shed kilos, there are other more protein rich foods that arent as high in calories, just do some research to gain a better awareness and also buy some scales so you can learn how fattening some of these healthy foods actually are yeah

      Since I have started on a mostly whole food plant-based diet and have kept my activity level up (I am very active), I haven´t limited my healthy fat intake and it has not made me gain weight. When I used to eat a low-fat omnivore diet I honestly struggled to stay fit more than now. I find that healthy fats (ones that contain protein as well) keep me full and satisfied for a longer time, help me to snack less, etc. But everyone´s body and fitness goals are different! The video wasn´t specifically for weight loss, these are just examples of meals that I eat as an active person that help me to stay full and satisfied 🙂

    Great meal ideas! Will definitely try the creamy pasta! We, too, make vegan parmesan, usually with walnuts. We love it on pasta and salads, but I now want to try it on quinoa. Thanks for sharing!

      Oh I love the idea of making it with walnuts! I'm always trying to give more walnuts to my girls actually and try to find ways to fit it into their meals, that is a great idea. I'll have to try it!

    can you make the veg parmesan in a nutribullet or do you need a better blender?

    • @mariatergliafera_
      @mariatergliafera_  Před 6 hodinami

      I think a nutribullet would work fine! Just pulse it until it becomes a powder. I doesn't even need to be a fine powder, it can still be slightly chunky. Let me know how it works!

    You've given me some great ideas! I've been seeing this cashew parm everywhere lately, so i might try it myself. Problem is I only have roasted cashews. Will they work as well, or must they be raw?

    • @mariatergliafera_
      @mariatergliafera_  Před 22 dny

      Oh I actually think it would be good with roasted cashews! It would probably give it an added depth of flavor. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out!

    Can you tell me the brand of pea protein please. I looked up and just saw pea powder. Do you live in US?

      @mariatergliafera_  Před 26 dny +2

      Hi! I live in Spain. It is the vegan protein powder by alpha foods, I buy it off of Amazon here. Sunwarrier is also a good brand!
