You had an impressive opening with music and graphics that I witnessed whilst exploring old content, what happened to it? It was super professional and made you look established. The current opener has a more casual vibe. If you're willing, I'm interested in hearing what happened to that opener and why you moved away from that style of video production. Would you be willing to explain the process and rationale here?
Good day Sir i'm new to your channel, may your plant base recipes can help me lower the bad cholesterol on my heart arteries, i'm not overweight, but i have a high cholesterol level, thank you. Jiayou!

Love how he doesn't use nutritional yeast 😭
Props for your knife skills alone.
I like to use the giant sized rice wrappers, and I stuff my entire salad into them. Easiest way to take salad on the go!
I had no idea you didn't have to cook the rice wrappers!
@@higgertor192 I can’t remember what he did in the video, but I worked in a vegan café and dipping it in cold water is sufficient. It will soften as you fill it, and it will be easier to wrap because this rice will stick to itself.
I have to say…..watching you prepare food is like a masterclass in itself. Respecting each vegetable, each spice, each component as if it were a precious loved one. Learning how to cut, chop, blend and create the most beautiful food is a joy. And I am able through your instruction to create this wonderful food in my own kitchen. Thank you Wil. 🦋

Nice to see I'm not alone.
It looks absolutely delicious! TIP/ Have you tried adding some thinly sliced or cubed mangoes into the salad mix? They taste great in rice paper salad rolls
Your ramen cookbook just arrived, and my mom surprised me with having you write my name in the cover! I'm so excited to try even more of your recipes!
🥳🥳🥳 So excited it arrived - let me know what recipes you try and how you like it 🙌🏻👨🏻🍳 Happy cooking
Summer is a great time to not cook. Fresh rolls are my “go to” meal quite often when we get the hot and humid days. I have made a variety of different dipping sauces and will often present 2-3 different ones if serving others. An awesome WFPB Meal and I love your twist on the sauce, plus the amazing load of veggies, grains and aromatics in the salad portion. Thanks for sharing and once again, your recipe is on point and does not disappoint.
all the veggies are cut so perfectly. everything looks so fresh!

You got me hooked! I’m in love with your storytelling, the cooking, the pasion for food and cooking that you express using your words, your facial expressions and not ultimately with your hands. I’ve been looking for a spring rolls recipe relentlessly, one that could satisfy both my taste and my visual longing for colors. Plus that amazing sauce…love at first sight!
I just made this dish, it was beyond amazing with hugh huge flavor in the Spring rolls and the tahini sauce had flavors I wasn't even ready for and how they all all blended together was magnificent!
Excellent 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻

Another star powered recipie for healthy living. Continue to enjoy the diverse ingredients 🥢🔪🍵
Wil, I love paper rolls but these look amazing!! Hello from Australia. ❤love your channel! The recipes are amazing great cross of Asian and western, so mouth watering.
Thanks for your efforts.
I made these yesterday and they were fantastic! I did use shredded green papaya instead of watercress and I did not have hemp hearts so I omitted and added a few more veggies. Served with your fantastic sauce and made a additional peanut sauce so people had two choices. Mahalo for your fantastic recipes. Sharon
Your killing me man. What I wouldn’t give to have you stay at my house and cook every day!
This sounds & looks so good. I luv the idea of no fork for my salad. I had a type of these rolls at a vegan restaurant. Tasty
This looks like it will be perfect for this hot summer. Definitely making these. We've absolutely loved every one of your recipes!
🥳🥳🥳
Just made this today. WOW! My husband and I both loved it! The various flavors and textures together are amazing. My rice paper wrapping skills are not on par with Wil's but, I can practice again tomorrow as I'll be making more! 😉 Bought his digital cookbook and can't wait to try more recipes. It all looks amazing. And the photos!!! Extremely talented man.
I would said soaked the rice paper for about 3 seconds in warm water to avoid sogginess. I’ll make it today ; Looks so delicious. Thank you ❤️😊
Yup. I agree. I dip it in fully take out and it’s ready to wrap by the time it’s stuffed. I watch them make it restaurants and there’s no “soaking” time
Can't wait to make these! Love all those fresh aromatic green cress and herbs and love the way things are finely chopped for this. Great recipe and vid -- thanks, Will!
Looks delicious! I love the dipping sauce ingredients with tahini and gochujang. Definitely on my next fresh roll list!
Oh my goodness is right! ..looks so good .so easy .so vegan.. thank you so much.. NYC one
Looks amazing. I am just missing the watercress and sprouts but have the herbs and most of the vegetables all growing in my garden. Will make soon.
🥳🥳🥳
Ohhhh my how colorfull !!!! and aromatic !
I can't wait to taste 😋
Thank you!❤💐
Your description of the deliciousness of the spring rolls and sauce is mouth-watering!
While we all admire your impeccable knife skills, not all of us possess them, or such a professional knife. Using the large holes of a box grater, or mandolin, for things like carrots, cabbage, and if it sharp enough, bell peppers speeds up the process. If implement isn't sharp, it will end in tears and a pile of watery mush. Of course same goes for shredder on food processor. I have degenerative arthritic tendinitis in hands and wrists, so having a few tools which reduce my cutting is a must. Also, for ordinary folks, the investment in a mandolin and good box grater is far less expensive than any above average knife. Also, the tender stems of those herbs can go in the blender with a dash of mild vinegar for another delicious sauce.
Absolutely stunning! I’ll be making these tonight! Thanks!
🙌🏻🥳👨🏻🍳
Wil I really appreciate that you quantify ingredients by grams, it makes following a recipe so simple!
The tahini versus peanut butter. Hungry after watching this!
Loved it. Explosion of taste in your mouth.
I am from Kolkata, India. We get a variety of rolls here. The skin is a flaky paratha (a kind of Indian flat bread). The filling can vary from vegetables, cottage cheese, mushroom, egg, chicken, mutton and fish, with slivers of cucumber, onion, carrot, capsicum, green chillies, with a generous amount of lime juice and a dash of chaat masala (a spice mix) . Each one with a distinct taste and flavour of its own. Addictively yummy.
As always looks stellar, and the sauce especially! I have found a method for moistening rice paper that works great or me: I moisten a clean kitchen towel very well. Then place one rice paper on one side and fold the other end over. Pat slightly for several seconds until the rice paper is nicely softened. Fold back the top towel end off and add the fillings and roll while still on the towel. Move to a plate and repeat, occasionally dampening the towel a bit as needed. This prevents me from ripping the wet wrappers, which is my ongoing problem.
Glad this works
This is so colorful! Looks like pure sunshine! I must try this recipe. You made it look and sound so delicious!
Looks positively amazing! I’m definitely going to make these! Thank you!

Gorgeous, delicious looking food (as always!) - I just love your channel! You’ve inspired me to start eating healthfully again and to approach food and it’s preparation as something special I do for myself (instead of looking at it as a chore and resorting to unhealthy take out). Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

Everything i watch you make is so delicious because of watching you make and eat it
I am becoming a better cook because of you...your instruction is so easy to follow
I love your receipes and presentations
Happy we are cooking together 🥳👨🏻🍳🙌🏻
going to the grocery store tomorrow, definitely will be making these! it'll be the perfect thing to pack for lunch for work as we start to return to being in person in the office
How do the rice paper rolls hold up over time- do they dry out?
Wow my mouth is watering. 😍😍 Absolutely beautiful and fresh!! I need to get these fresh herbs asap!
Can't wait to try this! As always Thank You, Will! 🙏
perfection as usual! wondering if you could add in cups along with grams as you make the recipe for all us gram ignorant folks..? I usually eyeball the amount that you're using but it would be soooo helpful! loved the fade-in of the rolls at the beginning of the video!
You can get a scale very inexpensively. I think you'll be surprised by how much easier it is. I know I was.
I was just thinking of making the Whole Foods version of this which I've been making for 25 years or so. Their sauce calls for chunky peanut butter instead of tahini and in addition to the other sauce ingredients, similar to what you used, it has fresh ginger, toasted sesame oil and spicy mustard instead of Dijon; dried chili flakes instead of chili oil, rice vinegar instead of lemon juice. I usually make it with almond butter.
I've found just submerging the rice paper once and immediately taking it out of the water, laying it on a plate gives the rice paper time to take in the water so you can easily work with it and begin adding the filling and rolling it. It doesn't need to be as wet as your demonstration shows.
Also for even more flavor, besides the mint and the basil, adding cilantro is an excellent addition and it tastes great with fresh green onions.
Love your recipes and love watching you cook very relaxing and beautiful food . Thank you so much.
LAY HO MA I love rice wraps and this one looks amazing. What a great idea with so many vegetables. And the dipping sauce must be delicious with those flavors. So glad I just bought a new pack of rice papers yesterday. Thank you for sharing 👍🌟
Can we make these a night before? For lunch boxes for exemple?
Can you, please, make like a lunchbox series ??
Thank you so much, I am a huge fan of the channel
Rice wrappers get tougher when stored in the fridge. I do this quite often: Make several for a meal and make up another set for lunch the next day. The important thing is to wrap them separately so the rice wrappers do not stick together. I use parchment squares in a covered dish and this works fine without using plastic wrap
Anyone know a good alternative to water cress? We never see it in the stores here, and it won't grow in gardens in this zone. I have everything else in the recipe growing in my garden, which will make this not only a super tasting salad, but also an inexpensive one too! Seriously, there's nothing like veggies that came in from the garden just 5 minutes before. My chickpeas are not in yet, and won't be until late September, but I still have some from last year, so really everything will be from my garden except whatever I sub for water cress. I know what lunch today is going to be!!!
I’ve grown watercress in pots indoors. Maybe that could work for you
Wow! Such a treat to be cooking with all fresh ingredients 🥳🙌🏻 You can sub for your fav leafy green - kale would work nicely here
I would just use fresh spinach, they're more easy to get and really nutritious as well.
@@adinaderoy-stouffer5724 Wow! Great idea! I grow a lot of herbs in hanging baskets in my house and they make the house not only prettier, but also fresher smelling. Do you grow from seed, or if you are buying started plants, where do you get them from?
@@Chompchompyerded I pick up those potted herbs from the grocery section ( leggy and forced) plant them in containers or baskets cut them down a bit fir immediate use and off they go with sunlight and occasional watering. Mine have been growing strong three years almost x
That looks so amazing clean and delicious. Wow! Something about eating like this makes the body feel bright and cleansed. Thank you for this. This is the next dish I’m going to try. It looks divine
OMG! This is so amazing. Definitely I'm gonna do this unique fresh salad wrap. Thank you for sharing. Love to see more of your cooking goodness.

I love the colors in this salad. It's a rainbow of yumminess! Using tahini in place of peanut butter is interesting.
This salad was so beautiful and very tasty. When I first made the sauce and tasted it I had my doubts, but when I had it together with the salad the flavour blended perfectly. So next time, I'm gonna make this with much more confidence. Thank you!
