    The amount of accidents that can be avoided by people driving in a staggered formation is beyond belief. You have to EXPECT people to get it wrong all the time now, so don't put yourself in the way when they do. It's actually very simple.

      ​@@zbf5h89ftb well tell that to Ashley Neal, he uses that term (staggered) rather often in his videos and he is an advanced driving instructor.
      The less informed that use the word staggered when talking about roundabouts are usually more informed about how to keep safe on a roundabout and leave gaps for bad drivers to use when they get it wrong.

      @@douglasreid699 Honestly very confused about the point you're trying to make. A staggered formation in driving is when you don't position your car while moving alongside other vehicles. It is to anticipate mistakes to occur and create space for other drivers to use to facilitate good flow and avoid collisions. It applies to any situation where multiple lanes are being used, whether it be at junctions, roundabouts, or on carriageways with multiple lanes.

    Yes, I had a 748R. That was back in the days when I had free time to just go for a ride, and could afford to do it too. Driving / riding seemed to be so much more hassle free then.

    Clip 5. Looks like the cammer was in a national speed limit driving at about 20mph, More interested in the scenic view than the road. Terrible aggressive driving by the pick-up truck, but you're going to piss a lot of people off if you can't make an effort to at least go the speed limit.

      Love how the cam car doesn’t realise he’s part of the problem - holding a 1 seconds gap rather than 2, with no intention to overtake.
      Presumably the Range has braked because of the very slow traffic ahead. People are terribly nervous on rural roads and worse at the hint of hi-vis police stuff.
      All driving too close. Flat bed van gets frustrated; and Scooby gets carried away with an overtake too many.
      Life is so much easier on the bike.

    That second clip might be a case of both at the same time. Possibly had the back end step out without meaning to, and then tried to do a drift to get out of the situation. Which didn't succeed, obviously. Why the cammer didn't at least lift their right foot, though, is beyond me.

    Mariusz Kaminski, you basically caused that accident - when you're in a situation behind another vehicle and there's 2 possibilities (they exit correctly or they don't) assume that either one will happen by slowing right down and observing instead of accelerating.

      @@musicjunkiie2393 I think you need to watch the clip again - instead of slowing down whilst the other car was in front of him and giving himself time to read a hazard, he put his foot on the accelerator... Even if you argue it was unavoidable, that could have turned into a slight prang into the back of the other vehicle rather than fully T boning one's self.

The road markings were so worn that someone not familiar with the area could miss it was a cycle box (shouldn't but forgivable). Not being ready for the light change wasn't great but they could have stalled or something. Poor attitude from the cammer

      Annoying as it is, 60 is the maximum speed limit. It is not mandatory to drive at or near the maximum speed limit nor is it illegal to travel @ 30mph below the limit.
      Taking out your frustration by tailgating & then brake checking another motorist is as illegal as it is dangerous you muppet.

    To be honest most situations on roundabouts I meet most weeks people get into wrong lanes, stray over lines, pull out etc however i now anticipate and expect it to happen and slow down. I can never understand why if seeing a car losing control you would carry on at speed to get closer. Nor if seeing a car pull out continue to accelerate and use the horn. People make mistakes whilst driving everybody does. Lol...please comment below if you have never made a mistake. Yes it is annoying but why the rage? To me it just makes the situation worse.

    5:13 Perhaps the Porsche driver didn't realise that the queue of traffic was actually waiting at lights which are not normally there and mistook it for just parked cars. I've seen it happen and even done it myself, ending up feeling like a right tit. Can we stop saying that people feel privileged, you see it everywhere. Furthermore, we all make mistakes.

    #4 I thought initially that was the cammer’s fault, but on looking at it again the blue Honda is indicating left, then decides to carry on round at the last minute. The Honda was entitled to carry on in that lane, but did everything wrong.

      The cammer was also at fault for impatiently trying to overtake there. Overtaking at a roundabout is always risky because you cannot rely on other drivers to follow the correct line.

      The Honda is effectively changing lane, without signalling or looking, and moving into the path of another vehicle.
      Honda driver needs to learn how to use roundabouts properly.
      Cammer could possibly be more wary, certainly given the type of car

      To be fair to the pick-up, they're entitled to overtake as long as the road ahead was clear, it didn't exceed the speed limit and wasn't solid whites, however, tailgating and then brake checking out of frustration because they lack patience is bullish, threatening behaviour and completely uncalled for!

      5. I would hope the agro’ wasn’t because of the slow pace - it’s an easy overtake. People normally stop like that when they’re provoked - the DC might have flashed or given the finger at their disgust at the overtake… seems most likely.

    The car sitting in the cycle box then holding everyone up reminds me of where I live. Sooo many single lane roads with hardly any safe overtake spots. Being stuck in a line of cars behind one selfish usually old person driving well below the speed limit for no reason. Either clueless/ignorant or enjoys winding people up.

      I dare say it is safer SOME times to wait, from this clip here I'm saying I could have been a few times before they did actually turn. They were hesitant to begin with in moving in position to turn, crawled up past the line, they could EASILY have turned before the 1st car approaching them, once that car had passed I could easily have turned twice before the second round of cars approached. Why sit in a busy dangerous junction when you could easily have turned and been on your way?

    Clip number 7 what would you like the lady to do, get out a red carpet and a band for you. She came around the corner you were on her side of the road so she was quick enough to stop to let you through and there was clearly space for you to get through. People are just become chronic entitled moaners these days.

      Be courteous to the large hard to manoeuvre lorry? And avoid any chance of having an incident by backing up a few feet would have just made everyone’s life easier. And “she was good enough to stop to let you through on her side of the road” tells me all I need to know about your knowledge of priority and the Highway Code.

      I can assure you I know more about the Highway Code than you might think so in future it would be best to not make a judgement about something you know nothing about. The woman did nothing wrong she stopped as she should and waited, the lorry driver had space to get through end of story. If you feel that that is worthy of sending footage in you should try driving in a busy city.

      Jesus Christ its fairly clear how braindead the majority of this countries drivers are (you included) when there's so many who cant understand basic speed limits. Only place 40 applies if its a national speed single carriage is in Scotland, and even then you have to be over 7.5 ton. I do not know if this road is 40 or 50, but a 40 limit would have nothing to do with being a commercial vehicle AT ALL.

    In #4 when I see a Honda Jazz at a roundabout, I just know something bad will happen.
    In #5, while the truck was clearly being a plonker, the cammer seems to be doing about 15mph, so shouldn't really complain too much when drivers stuck behind her get annoyed.

    #7 - Sean, I've had Mercedes operators try similar on me. I pull up to them, then stop the engine and fold my arms. The bully almost always caves at this point.
    #10 - And is now no use in evidence even if the dash cam is evidential quality.

      @malcwhite well the cam car is in the straight on lane, but decides he's going left. The Honda did switch lanes previous to this, but it was in the correct left turn lane when the incident occurred.
