- Fathis Ulven was an assassin who had the misfortune to work for the wrong client. He spent over a century imprisoned in the darkest depths of the imperial city dungeons, before being shipped to Morrowind. There he eventually became the archmagister of Great House Telvanni, and the Nerevarine of prophecy - a reincarnation of the ancient war leader of the Dunmer people, Indoril Nerevar. Beneath Red Mountain he slew the devil Dagoth Ur, and took the fabled Heart of Lorkhan, using its divine energies to become a god, just as the Tribunal had done before him. Then, however, things suddenly all went a bit wrong...

Well to be fair Fathis did actually become relatively proficient with shields during his time in Morrowind because he had his magicka regen shield. If I remember correctly he had like 45 block which isnt bad.

I love that you create this elaborate scheme centered around something most of us would just walk in, take the item and leave. Really makes it worth watching (and playing).
the thing with the Campfire is that you have to build the fire up and then step into the tent, that will warm you up faster. If it is very cold outside then a little fire will not help that much, love the LP by the way. just startet to watch Fathis journey through Morrowind ^^

Love to see the old man return! I don't think armor spells do much against poison, but are definitely still worth the time to cast. With Ordinator, Alteration spells can last an incredible amount of time when dual cast once your alteration gets a bit higher.
I do love Fathis with a buckler, I think that's a grand idea and does feel very in character.
Still not sure how I feel about Strahg, but definitely useful having henchman about as a mage!
I always assumed the jewelry inside animals was because they ate somebody
I remember a survival mod that required you to sit down at the fire or, better, lie down in the tent for warmth to take effect. While that was years ago, the mechanic may still be in place.
You might be referring to Frostfall, where in a snowstorm being out in the open means no warmth from a fire. Not sure about Sunhelm

Playing shield plus spell was the most fun I've had in Skyrim. Like a defensive version of the Battlemage
Loving the two episodes in quick succession. I'm really digging this series.
The Occato’s Recital spell would be amazing for Fathis! It allows you to select up to 3 self-target spells that are auto-cast, FOR FREE, whenever combat starts. Load him up with Oak Flesh to help with survivability, it won’t drain his Magicka either.

For some reason, which I am not complaining of, the river water stays warm until you're around the Dainty Sload, then you'll start dying from the cold

Fathis aught to get himself a nice suit of chitin armour. Maybe make some super enchanted daggers with not a lot of charge but a lot of damage.
Nah, Dave just needs to remember to cast Alteration Flesh spells, or learn Ocato's Recital and make that autocast them. Armour is for people too stupid to do magic.
I had the same issue with the campfire not working with Survival Mode, so I looked it up and I found a Survival Mode patch that patches CC Survival Mode with Campfire. I hope that is helpful.
I have a tip for your shield and hotkey use: If you press your spell hotkey twice, it will equip it in the Left hand and then the Right hand, then you can press your shield hotkey to replace the Left hand spell with the shield. Of course, in a pinch it might be safer to pull up your menu so you can take a second to breathe, but if you want to do it all through hotkeys, the above method should work.

22:03 The good news is that magic might still be super cannon-y. I've not run Ordinator, though. In Perkus Maximus it's still powerful enough you can run around in your underwear and still be fine. Just gotta get past the initial squish.

THEFT IN SOLITUDE!
NECKLACE STOLEN!
Late last night, a thief stole a precious silver necklace from the Winking Skeever. The theft, it seems was professionally done, as nobody seems to have seen the thief.
A local smuggler however climbed out of the sewers begging for a healer, after getting sliced up by a dagger.
When questioned as to if the peddler was the thief, the peddler remained silent. When questioned as to how he recieved the wounds, he refused to comment. His illegal goods on his person will likely endure a lengthy stay in the Castle Dour dungeons.
The local beggars claim to have seen an elderly dunmer in the sewers, however none believe their story.
ANY WITH INFORMATION ON THE THEFT ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT CAPTAIN ALDIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
