- I was expecting Skyrim to be fun, but I did NOT expect to STILL be thinking about it while trying to sleep that night!

Only annoying thing about this video was the chat trying to restrict you from doing what you want to do, amazing job standing your ground
Gotta agree. Super annoying seeing dudes tell this guy how to play like them. Like damn, he just started playing, let him learn and experience things for himself. 🙄
Exactly this. Skyrim more than just about any other game is a "do what you want" kind of game. Let the man play godamn it.
Agreed
Which is why I dislike 99% of live gameplays, especially when they're playing blind.
@@no0btu63rscorneryeah bro
Skyrim wouldn't have been half as fun for me if someone told.me what to do
I still remember my first playthrough
A spellsword dark elf with some.edgy ass name I don't even remember and I focused on necromancy for my spells
I never finished the game with that character but it was so damn fun playing for the first time
Man I miss it
people saying "wrong quest" like bruh you can just pick a direction and start walking and find your own adventure
People saying wrong quest either only watched their friend play or never replayed Skyrim for sure.
Fr, I have this alternate start mod and I started in the dwemer dungeon underneath markarth as a wizard so I had to find a lockpick to get out then I walked to Helgan and did the main quest and it was a lot of fun
Shit pissed me off too. Twitch chat are actually all stunted in the brain, every one I’ve ever looked at briefly at least
That's how you actually play skyrim, by doing sidequests first
Dont let your chat dictate what you do. The most fun i can have observing you is watching you do whatever you want. The best thing you can do for us as viewers is take everything at your own pace.
This is true. Fun to watch it like that and fun for him to experience things on his own (even mistakes, which create amazing stories afterwards).
I like how people were trying to dictate which quests he does when, where he explores, but didn't give actual useful advice like changing the field of view to achieve the visual effect he wanted from the beginning, or to sell his stuff at Lucan's before going to Bleak Falls Barrow.
Fr bro his chat was just like a reddit comment section. Everyone trying to pull people towards their "ideal experinace" but nobody actually helping in the little things that matter 😂😂
They're so obnoxious. But the username of one of them checks out, "Commander117"
@@bobbobert9379he annoys me so much he should be banned
@@bobbobert9379 I hated that guy
the zebrix guy and him literally had me heated lmfao@@bobbobert9379
Dude it's just so fun to watch somebody experience skyrim for the first time. I don't need another 300 hour video essay analysis I just wanna see the pure enjoyment. It brings me right back in time 😢
😂😂😂dude I've seen those videos on recommended but never watched any
you know hypothetically, if there were another 300 hour analysis video, i wouldnt be complaining
This guy is a real one😎why would you tell a guy who’s never played the game to download mods on his first time😂the game is beautiful in it’s natural state anyone thatcl claims to be a skyrim fan but fails to see the beauty in vanilla skyrim isn’t a true skyrim fan.
If that ain’t the truth. I love mods but definitely not a necessity
49:00 i really loved the way you stood your ground here. This game is so broad and longtime players know everything about it but its so much more fun to explore on your own when you have never played the game yet. Keep that up and you’ll enjoy it WAY more than when you listen to everyone else how to play it.
Small tips here and there are fine but guys lets please let him explore the game all on his own! ❤️
Also if he listened to the chat he would have to go back to bleak falls like 2 quests later for the dragonstone anyway. Chat wasn't even saving him time😂😂
THIS FIRST TIME GAMEPLAY IS AMAZING !!!! He tries to understand the story, not talking over dialog too much, while also giving enough commentary and jokes. If you ever see this, good job man 👍👍👍
I appreciate you 😭🙏🏾❤️
those dudes in chat just straight up telling u the answers to the puzzles bothered the hell outta me. like half the fun is watching people figure it out themseleves. commanderm117 is trying to hold his hand through the damn game like hop off ffs
I did not expect seeing your initial reaction of Skyrim to bring me this much joy. I remember being 12 years old in 2011 playing this for the first time on my XBOX 360. THE MEMORIES
Over the course of time I've easily completed 20+ complete playthroughs, each with well over 3,000-4,000 save points. I've broken the game with glitches, modded the game, I've done it all and someday I just woke up to hang it up.
Thank you for the burst of nostalgia today.
Still have my Xbox 360 and the Skyrim copy for it, I’m replaying that version now for gamerscore and nostalgia, still runs amazing if you ask me. Actually less frame drops than the Xbox One version with my mods on surpirsingly, Riften is also playable and not a slideshow 24/7 😅
Omg yeh soo true, I wish I could play it again for the first time, the first two weeks were some of the happiest I ever felt in life. After the two weeks though for some reason the immersion kinda fell apart lol.
I was 20 and mate. Did has set the bar too high that i struggle to enjoy other rpg.
That zebrix guy just spoiling everything about bleak falls
he should be banned same with commander
he irked me in a way that i havent been irked in a long time, as a skyrim veteran with easily a couple of thousand hours on the game across multiple consoles since launch day i would never spoil someones first skyrim playthrough or tell then him what to do like that zebrix/commander muppet did😡
@@danbro6138 like what is the point of watching a first time play through if your gunna command someone that he has to do something a certain way or he went the wrong way that was crazy to see happening
fr, fuck that chat.
Saddens me seeing such spoilers and not-asked-for help in the chat. Why can't people let others experience things for the first time? It's not like they'd do this if you were watching a movie for the first time. Doesn't look like it bothers you as much as it does me, which is good.
It really bothers the hell out of me unfortunately, if only he just turned the chat off, those people are insufferable
For real like literally every step he took they were back seating and spoiling. Annoying AF
Yea yurei was spoiling everything
to be fair he was streaming it so its kinda expected for the chat to be like that. that just how people are durign single player games
@@lop90ful1 Normal people aren't like that.
The best part of skyrim is people not listening to the chat on what path you take instead its much more entertaining to watch you take your own journey and see what path you want to take
since it looks like chat failed you being told not to retrieve the golden claw when you're right there is sabotage
“He just said he was sorry and he’ll send my body to who-knows-where, you don’t even know me” cracked me up haha
its great seeing someone experience this for the first time. Its also interesting seeing how you approach things and seeing how the game design either works well or fails to teach you how to do certain things. I share your pain with picking up every item I see, I eventually made a rule for myself that I only horde gems, jewellery and items that are enchanted. Everything else can be left.
Don't listen to him, he's lying to you. You definitely do need 94 iron boots. Just imagine when you get back to Solitude or Whiterun and can sell all of them for 784 gold!!! You need that gold fr fr don't listen to those who wanna lead you astray
I played Skyrim for the first time a week ago, i am so pleasantly surprised by the game and convinced me to get the dlc s as soon as I can
Definitely not a dragon: "I only horde gems, jewellery and items that are enchanted."
Me: *squints suspiciously*
You genuinely have to roleplay. The encumberment is annoying, so you have to pick up stuff your character would instead of looting everything.
@@ishmaelforester9825 My character is just me, and I'm a packrat, so once I get ovencumbered I just keep picking up stuff 🤣🤣 2890 mass isn't really any worse than 480
“Everybody watching this already subscribed.. right? RIGHT?” Lmfaooooo the way that actually worked on me 😂 I am now a faithful subscriber 😔✌️
You're a GOAT too 😭🙏🏾❤️
There is no “wrong quests” in Skyrim, you play it exactly how you want it in the exact order you want to do different quests and quest lines 😎 Loved the vid man 🔥
If you like the idea of having to eat, drink and sleep but not the other parts of survival mode, I'd highly suggest looking into the Frostfall, Realistic Needs and Diseases and Hunterborn mods. I use them in every playthrough and they make the game feel more realistic due to having to worry about cold, food, water, diseases and actually dressing animals you kill.
The best part of Realistic Needs and Diseases: Not literally living off of salt
"iNeed" I think is the best needs mod given that it's pretty lightweight and just introduces the needs part
I also recommend stepping outside
it upset me that somehow no one knew that you could change your fov lmao. all you gotta do is open the console ( press the ~ key, the one below ESC) and type fov #. my goto is usually 90 or 100
What a coincidence that I'm also starting to play Skyrim for the first time in my life.
I've only been playing for 12 hours and I have more than 10 secondary missions started
Hope you've been enjoying it
Only 10? Wait for the end of the main quest then count.. I always end up with what feels like endless heaps of them
Bro the chat spoiling as much content as possible like shaddup
Such a nostalgic game for me. It's one of the only games that I can happily play all over again. You can expect me to watch the rest of the series and you definitely earnt a sub
Really cool video, I'm glad I found your channel :) The backseat gaming in chat is insane but hopefully they didn't spoil too much for you! I still remember watching my dad play Skyrim when I was a kid and waiting to finally be old enough to play it, so it's really nice seeing you discovering everything for the first time. Can't wait to see what you get up to next
Seeing this brought me to tears. This game was such a huge part of me and seeing you experience it for the first time really made me happy. Thank you.
I can tell this is going to be a fantastic journey! Amazing first video. You're extremely good at searching for loot in your environment and it really scratches a brain itch lol. Thank you! Keep being awesome.
Ive played vanilla probably 6 times and never wanted anything more call me a purist

Yeah I feel like mods ruin it for me, I usually play vanilla or just with graphic mods and the npc overhaul one that makes them actually be people
@@adamstapley6995Have you tried "Legacy of the Dragonborn"?
I Give this man all the credit in the world for trying to play this with live chat. People can't help themselves but spoil things... Enjoying this vid, great content homie
Wtf. You did it again. I found your channel a THIRD time on accident. I looked up “Skyrim blind lets play” and found kingdomace had posted a video on it 2 -3 weeks before I looked it up. This is the third time this has happened
You know what that means, might as well sub lol
It makes me extremely happy to see people still enjoying this amazing game. You will learn all you need to know about the game as time progresses and you’ll love the lore. Just remember that it’s your gameplay and your experiences. No one should dictate what choices you should make.
he had one reason to follow: To make us chuckle when he got slapped into the wall.
Well played, sir.
p.s. You are tactically great at combat and an astute observer. I have no doubt you'll do well.
Can't wait to watch the rest!

Man I wish I could go back in time and play Skyrim again I been playing it for years already trust me when you get into Skyrim more you will have a straight up addiction to it 😭
This was great! Always enjoyable to see someone experience Skyrim for the first time. Hope there's more videos like this to come.
you showed up on recommended and i really like your authentic feel to learning a video game and getting immersed into it, its calm and entertaining. im subbing now.
Love this! Glad I found you and can't wait to see you go on this journey! It's just wholesome to see someone experience this for the first time.
Everybody telling him how to play but not telling him the shit that could help him the most. One he had to figure out that he has to read the claws to get through the doors. The next thing y'all couldve told him was to get rid of some of his basic swords or weapons because right now he just needed one due to his carrying capacity being high. That's all he needed to know not what quests to do 1st.
For Real, that guy annoyed me the most
Never thought id ever watch or enjoy watching someone else play skyrim and im grateful to enjoy this experience with you
I haven't ever seen any of your stuff. This is gold, I love Skyrim, seeing your excitement is great. I wish I could relive this for the first time. I like your stuff, imma check out the rest of your content.c
So refreshing to see someone play this not knowing anything and figuring it out by yourself. It’s so fun when you don’t know anything
I think so long as you personally are actually having fun with it keep going with it for sure
Skyrim and No Mans Sky have been on my list of reactions to see your first time; it's going to be so good.
Both are excellent in VR....
First time Ive seen your stuff and I have to say I was honestly impressed by your efforts to figure out the answer to the claw door as well as by how close you got. Skyrim is - for me - a one of-a-kind RPG to this day. Very excited to watch the rest of your first time experience!
I just got into Skyrim at the start of the year, cool to see more people getting into it!
"im not saying i didnt bookmark them but yall need help" lmao
I'm boutta binge this whole series onj my favorite thing is watching new people play skyrim it really reminds me of when I first got the game, keep it up mane watching is great 🤭
Yoooo my favorite thing about this is seeing your reactions to things you've never experienced before. Because most of your reactions were exactly how I reacted lol. I typically watch Elder Scrolls and Fallout creators that are super experienced in the game and they're pretty cool too, but there's something awesome about seeing someone experience the greatness and often times bugginess for the first time lol. I just found your channel yesterday and I've been having a blast watching your stuff. Keep it up man! And kudos for you for not letting Chat's back seat gaming influence the way YOU wanna play.
I've got around 4500 hours in Skyrim across 3 platforms and all 3 versions released. Over 2000 mods installed as of the last time I played. I still love this game even after 13yrs!
You got my respect. I just watched your reaction to skyrim trailers and I am pumped up to watch ur Skyrim Journey, lets gooooo!!!
It's very fun to watch your playthroughs! I appreciate the quality content and keeping it real! Subscribed!
The blast of nostalgia. Remember playing a couple days after it came out because my 11th birthday was that month. Awesome to see someone experience it at almost 23 years old for the first time.
playing it again today after school, played it for maybe two hours but never liked it. Im pretty excited if im being honest, ill let you know how it goes. If i remember to.
@@Isaac-uu9jxmy tip for you is to make up a story for your character like who they are and what they want and play according to how you like. That's how I had the most fun. Also don't fast travel everywhere unless you're low on irl time
i love this game!! so glad to see someone enjoying it! awesome vid
About the khajiit ability, yes you can just use magelight or a torch. Or if you become a vampire you get the same thing. If you were going for best strategic advantage then orcs or Bretons are the best choices for any playstyle. A LOT of enemies use magic or enchanted items in this game so the bretons 25% resistance to all magic is really useful especially against dragons. The berserker rage is literally just you become an absolute tank and murder everyone.
Yeah, take half damage and deal double damage for any amount of time is a game changer in any fighy
I like the kahjit they are great at stealing shit , lock picking and sneaking which is good to build your money up at the beginning and they do look really cool 😂

51 seconds it took for you to get my sub. Man, you're good. I think that's a new record for a CZcamsr getting my subscribe. Gonna enjoy this video.
It's cool to see someone play skyrim for the first time even though this video was made a month ago. and actually injoy the game
Hey there! This video popped out of nowhere lol and watching your first playthrough was so refreshing! You reminded me when I played Skyrim for the first time in 2018. I was also looking for answers in those carving back in the days, that was fun watching you struggle as I did ahaha
Man this is just the beginning 😂 Wait until you start building multiple characters with different paths and objectives. I still play to this very day creating different style classes for each race. Man welcome to the addiction, easily over thousands of hours in this game, going for the millions 💪
Amazing video. I really didn't pay attention that it was 2 hours until it finished
I like your style of playing and the commentary

hey man great video, your voice is very soothing i thoroughly enjoyed watching your interaction with the world the rest of us know and love. keep it going i subbed.
I hope you carry on playing the game and enjoy it your a good player! It would be good to watch you progress 😊
I love watching new players play games I have invested a lot of time in. It is refreshing to see how they handle things.
Redguard is a fine choicе, sir.
A lil bit of background: They originate from Hammerfell - kind of like a desert-y place that used to be a part of the Empire but is now autonomous. You'll need some additional context about the Empire's history(I don't wanna spoil) to understand why, but basically Hammerfell got sick of the Empire's sh.. and became independent(kind of what the Stormcloaks are trying to achieve for Skyrim now).
So redguards are bada..s warriors and independence fighters. Good choice!
man you've got a great delivery, was an instant sub
I remember I was in high school when it released. That midnight release was THE event to be at and none of us slept for like 3 days straight and most of us skipped school for at least the first day. Im shocked you havent played it till now!
I think this guy is awesome I love watching Skyrim again, I’ve beaten the game so much I still play it, best game ever
Ranger (theif stone) is the most broken build in the game: Marksman, Sneak, Alchemy. But unless you play the hardest difficulty you're just broken no matter what you do. Sword and board is probably the most fun though, causing problems is valid.
Enjoying watching your playthrough! Man to experience this all over again! Hope you enjoy skyrim and Playing it how you Want to experience the game. I know I'm late to the party you now have my sub.
Bro I love Skyrim and you’re funny asf. This was amazing😂
I like the surprise at how elaborate Bleak Falls Barrow turned out to be - those of us who'd been waiting years for this game, and followed all the hype during the build-up, knew exactly what/where/how for everything in there, since it was the focus of one of the first gameplay previews. In particular, the claw puzzle solution was spoiled by Todd Howard months before the game came out.
Love the videos bro!
So happy more people are enjoying this game. I played Fallout 4 and really enjoyed it, esp once I got into modding and the building. Then I played a bunch of other games, but was once again looking for a new game to play back in 2022, so hubby and I began our Skyrim journeys. I enjoyed it immensely, but was very confused over the lore as I had never played any other Elder Scrolls game. That's when I began playing Elder Scrolls Online (just over a yr ago now) and have learned SO much more and I'm still barely scratching the surface of the immense lore the ES has, it's crazy. Praise Sithis!
I loved your way of thinking and deciding on who to escape from Helgen with. I remember the first time I played Skyrim, I believe either in November or December of 2011, I ended up escaping with Hadvar, but ONLY because I didn't realize there was a choice, and I was sort of in a panic and trying to not be killed by the dragon, lol. Later when I realized that there was a choice, and all of the background surrounding the Imperials, the Stormcloaks, the Thalmor / Aldmeri and just, EVERYTHING, I went back to make a new character and go with Ralof - but, that newer playthrough, and every subsequent playthrough since then, I've ALWAYS befriended the blacksmith Alvor in Riverwood and did his little "work around the forge" quest, despite being the uncle / family of Hadvar, just because, Alvor is awesome!
I just love that he tried to solve the claw key puzzle by looking at the walls haha. it took me hours to figure out that the claw had the code.
LMAO. Your intro got me. Well done man.
I would say I'm a pro/non-pro at skyrim. I completed the whole game but god I love seeing newcomers play this game its so funny on how the struggle is at first lol
First time viewer and also just started getting into skyrim deeper recently!! Subscribed and liked! Love the content
Ulfric is the Jarl (or Lord) of a city (Windhelm) and province who leads a rebellion against the Empire. His followers (Stormcloaks) are fighting the Imperials who are based in another city (Solitude) ruled by another Jarl, the widow of the prior High King. When the game begins there is no High King who rules Skyrim and it's in a state of Civil War. The Imperials and the Stormcloaks are two of the factions you can join. It comes up fast in the first act.
He’s so comfy to watch, I love it. Wish I was able to play Skyrim for a first time again, lmao
yo i started watching your reaction of the skyrim trailers today and i'm looking forward to the next episodes, i hope u like playing skyrim :) also there pretty much isn't a bad side in the civil war, both the empire and the stormcloaks have their good sides and bad sides, hope u like it :))

@@KingdomAceafter you beat this playthough you shuld get a vr and play skyrhim vr as a mage
Serously the power rush as thunder is coming out of your hands is amazing you actually feel like your shooting thunder on top of a snowy mountain
Words cannot explain how amazing it feels
Also I try not to use the unofficial patch mod as they take out a lot of amazing glitches that are funny
Like the skyrhim space program XD
Also imperials are the good guys
The stormcloaks are kinda retarded there grievances to some degree are understandable
But there actions are so retarded they basicly fucked skyrhim with a strap on
If they win the war the whole government is destroyed then the thalmore will come in and invade genocideing everyone in skyrhim
If they just sat there happy ass down and waited while secretly worshipping talos like the imperials do the imperials could have stabilized skyrhim
In turn eventually allowing open worship of talos again
The lore is really deep but ulfric stormcloak and his buddys have one shared brain cell and it’s not very powerful
always fun watching someone new to skyrim
Oh man I've been a fan of you since your early KH theories and I also love this game. Super pumped for this!
It's explained in game but basically the Jarls/Yarls (Earls) are Low Kings who elect the High King at a Moot.

Yea the old 'adult mod issue' is probably the worst part of playing skyrim in 2023. Nexus is lile 70% h0rny mods, 20% necessary framework mods and then 10% actually good mods.
You can really see where humanity chooses to invest it's time. 😭😭 We are doomed
Please describe to me why is it an issue? (serious)
@@thinkingsheep9141because there's so many talented modders that could make awesome mods, but instead they make the 786.509th tiddy mod
We could have earth bending and he man sword instead we get boob and sex mods. I freaking hate modding community
@@MADcrft nobody forcing the modders to make anything, they do what they want to make, for free. So This things you called as an issue is that the modders make what they want and not what YOU want, correct?
Of course the amazing thing about these games is the freedom. In Elder Scrolls you always iconically begin as a prisoner, but after that you can do what you want, and in Skyrim full edition the gameplay potential is unique. I had a blast and hundreds of hours over several years. It is legendary gaming. For me, the best game ever made.
this was so nice to watch, I ate up every second of this video. get ready to put in hundreds of hours into this game
idk why but I'm recently enjoying smaller creators like this wayyy more than per say Mr. beast .
It feels authentic
You should mute these chatters that try to dictate what you do in a game that was designed specifically to give you all the freedom in the world.
Also, they're spoiling the hell out of the experience! That "Yurei" guy is literally telling you what the combination is for the door! If someone's gonna give you tips, they should be very surface level like "the guy you killed earlier dropped a notebook", and you'll figure it out on your own eventually! But that one guys was directly telling you the solution without even telling you how you were meant to find it! Pissed me the hell off.
As someone who’s fully played Skyrim and completed everything there is to do in this game this watch has been so entertaining
Skyrim is the only game I come back to once every year or so and get back into it for a good 2-3 months. I've tried almost every type of character possible 😅
I just found your channel. I started playing Skyrim about 6 weeks ago and a in love with it!! I’m 50 hours in. To say our play styles are 180* different is an understatement! 😂 I went with a Khajit. Like the majority of people who play, I’m a stealth archer.
From watching you play the very first second of the game, even I can say you made a good choice to go with a run and gun warrior type. 😂 I’ve got to catch up watching your streams, but unless you’ve made some big change in how you like to play, you’d HATE the stealth, ranged approach. You’re gonna set off a shite ton of traps, but hey, that’s what quick saves, potions and food are for, right?!
Love seeing how other people play. It really makes me lighten up and just enjoy the game more. Thanks so much for the fun!! 👏🏻
