For the vest color change, I think it's 1 long vest probably connected to the chair, that's why he had to get up for it to change and why it's still black on his back but I'm just guessing

No, using a cloth to make something disappear was part of the act. The methods he used required it. These are just other methods that have been developed.

Those are not tricks!! He is a modern day sorcerer!! To change a content ( color) of a matter is one thing but to change its form ( cards to coins) is high level!! There is an entity in China that teaches few of the sorcerer the high level of sorcery!! But there is a price to pay!!
