I still hope for similar boxes for each and every factions. Nevertheless I managed to nab one for preorder and I can't wait to get it home and start build them. Next purchase will be a Necrosphinx I always wanted one but never got to buy one until now.
I'm very doubtful there will be, since these are permanent boxes that will be stocked in stores - there's no way they'd make 9 of those. I suspect that everyone will get a smaller Vanguard-style set, though. Happily for me I have an old Tomb Kings army that can use these models.
yeah I Imagine they might do splash army sets for other races but these "starter" with the rulebook not sure we will see more of them

I am trying to find it - unsuccessful so far - I am a bit gutted actually im really worry its been lost to the sands of time! I do have some of it I rebased for AOS and some new units in mid work - Don't fear they will ride again!
A bit miffed the movement trays didn't come with the box
imo you dont want the GW trays - they are badly designed - just get some MDF ones cut to the right size loads of options out there - or cut your own from plasticard
I hope they release this army minus the rulebook, dice etc. If I buy this I'm paying for extra for stuff I don't need. Imagine buying both armies and getting / paying for 2 rulebooks. They should have released an option with just the army.

If Cavalry and Chariot bases didn't get new molds, I guess this means that they are still 1-2mm too narrow. Can you confirm the actual measurements?
Also, I am curious what year are the 25mm bases from? I was going through my old 25mm squares and find out that 2005 bases were better quality than 2001 bases. If they are completely new ones, that would be neat.
i have now checked this and yes they didnt get new molds so they are infact not really 25mm
Agree with new models being over designed especially the bog standard soldier
2006 plastic at 2024 prices. The fact people are simping hard over this just shows GW can get away with anything

Its easy right - just don't play it or buy it? I do love GW always have and there games and the hobby been a massive part of my life - I don't really understand why its not "cool" to enjoy something or be positive about it. Yes its expensive but its always been expensive - so many other hobbies are expensive and again optional. What I don't understand is people who spend time and effort on Games Workshop games when they hate Games Workshop... it would be like someone who hates football going to football matches to shout "down with this sort of thing"
