Wow…someone who actually uses their tools. A rare sight on CZcams!
Good video, I have been watching some videos about maintenance/handyman tool bags and most of them looks like they just went out and bought new and expensive ones just for a show and tell. I can tell your bag/tools what you use and what you need nothing fancy or unnecessary. Good job 👍🏼
That's what I like to see some dirty used tools.👏
My tool bag is, not surprisingly, like yours because we do the same type of finish work! From faucets, to mirrors, trim, shelves and light fixtures, those are the tools I have at hand in my kit
I have a similar but different setup and had the same problem of the outer pockets storing too much, the stitching tears and I started to lose stuff from them. I tied a bungee around the whole tote so it pulls in all the outer pockets, it takes the weight off the stitching and pulls the pockets in. Extended the life of the whole setup.
great camera work amd good commentary. good job!
I literally just made an electrical bucket just like this ! Mine has the side pouches
but also a lid that's has little compartments in it which i filled with different wires nuts, staples, nail plates, etc .
for other ideas to put in
my handy dandy electrical pouch kit includes:
( insulated gloves, screw drivers, wire cutters, strippers, *linesman pliers, breakaway blade knife, fish tape, electrical testers, electrical tape, a 4ft ruler, an 8" ruler, tape measure, laser level, marker, pencil, my drill, bits for holes, extra battery, strong magnet, cats claw crowbar, flash light, hammer...
inside i put boxes and outlets etc.
Need yous a adjustable spanner wrench boy 🔧
Very utilitarian setup. You look set up to McGyver just about anything.
Thanks!
Very simple the tools you have now can get the job done looking forward for more videos by the way can you do a video on how to measure
Dropping by to show support.
Love the how to videos.
Always intend my tool box to be organised but it never ends up that way, same as my van really. I know everything is in there somewhere! 🤣
Very nice!
Contractor provides all uni bits, anchors , holes, cordless tools of all kinds. Hand benders. All you nd is hand tools
unless you are the contractor.
Great!
Normally these tool vids show all new tools that have never been used.
Been looking into becoming a tradesman! good to see a video where the content creator is a real tradie, not these other sissies on CZcams pretending to get their hands nice and dirty!! I will be touching myself to this video later, much love from weston xoxo
I know this is old, but what is the brand of that small organizer you have? I like the clasps seems to be made well despite the generic label. After doing some searching it looks like the Plano Dri-loc box. That should be pretty high quality. Plano makes great tackle boxes with quality latches, plastic and hinges, often USA made.
The brand is Storehouse and I got it at Harbor Freight. It’s definitely held up and is waterproof. Here’s the link to the product page: www.harborfreight.com/medium-water-resistant-storage-container-56577.html
very cool, what school did you go to learn how to become an handyman?
Self taught!
Could you please add a link for the bag?
Link is in the description, thanks
