My Experience Interpreting the Papal Apology Into Inuktitut: Jeannie Manning

Jeannie Manning is a proud Inuk, born and raised in Cape Dorset, Nunavut. She is a fluent Inuktitut speaker. In July 2022, she was invited to be a part of a team of Indigenous language interpreters who translated the Pope’s apology to residential school Survivors during the live event.
