Does anyone know how qualifying for a status card works in ontario? My father is 25% native and has his status card and my grandfather on his side was 50% and also had his status his whole life but none of the women in my family where native. Does anyone know if i will qualify? I don’t want to spend all of this time applying of i am not going to qualify

How does this information work with ancestry of Indigenous people that were beyond grandparents and past generations?

Does the regional office give recommendations in person for what files are acceptable to provide? I have many files from the canadian archives, but im unsure if all are necessary or if any will meet the requirements.

My question is when will our political leaders stop creating new commissions of studies and fake Ministries with tasking indigenous dealings and creating jobs for another non indigenous politicians for a Ministry heads instead of directly dealing with the issues.
