You missed Il Volo -Grande amore: 366 points.
@@passioneblue6613 at that time final points still 50-50 jury televoting, I started from independent split points, begin 2016...
Portugal 2017 was a surprise phenomenon in televoting: 12 times 12 points, 8 times 10 points, 10 times 8 points, 8 times 7 points... All countries voted and the worst score was 5 points from Denmark. In the jury, 18 times 12 points and only 2 countries did not vote: Bulgaria and Montenegro. So, in total, 30 times 12 points. Massive! And in Portuguese, with only 1 neighboring country, without being part of blocks (Nordic, ex-Soviet, Balkan...) and almost no staging.
Exactly, a great example a country sending a strong/winning song to ESC, I don't think any country breaking the record next few years...
> almost no staging.
That staging was BRILLIANT. It drew you into the story he was telling, and set the mood perfectly well. You can call it minimalist, but even that misses out so much on the effect that staging brought. It's not the amount of staging that wins, but how good it is and how much it adds to your performance.
imo the reason why it got so many points is because overall the contest was less strong than in some other years
edit: not to say it's bad
@@KayAmenTV Portugal really isn't a strong eurovision country which makes it even more impressive, indeed, 2017 was the first top 5 of Portugal! In 49 participations!
But for me Bulgaria or Moldova should’ve won in 2017
I love how probably one of the most controversial and potentially most hated winners since the televote/jury split is also the only one as of 2021 who won both the jury AND the televote
I don't think Portugal is the most hated winner. I believe jamala is, although she's my favorite.
I think Portugal is the most hated winner, for me no doubts about it
I mean... 2017 wasn't a strong year, and Salvador was definately better than most others that year
I didn't watch the show in 2017, only earlier this year, I've heard something about him being told by doctors that he couldn't travel but idk if that had anything to do with how the result turned out
maybe the commentators were talking about his health or maybe it was in the media a lot and people felt bad and voted for him
@@aela3533 He had a heart condition that has since been treated by a heart transplant. He never seeked pity and has very much avoided the spotlight in Portugal. I doubt he won out of pity, and to think so is to majorly downplay his heart-touching voice.
@@thales7099 Jamala was amazing and I haven't seen much hate for her. In comparison, there is tons of hate for Toy
Damn. This is a collection of BANGERS. And 'Scream' is there, too.
I love scream 👄
Scream is definitely a banger too
Scream is *the* banger
So Duncan had the lowest televote score for a winner (mainly helped by low points for Sweden and N. Macedonia)
that’s not true, there are winners who got less televote points who are just not in this list
Ah yeah that's true I guess I meant from the actual period in which televoting was a proper part of the final score
Mainly helped by lowing jury points for Norway
Two ukrainian entries in top 10, legends
Ikr, they also always qualify for Grand Final
3 now ^^
Thank you Europe for your support in all these years. We love you all.
Italy: heart of Europe! ;)
You deserve it!☺️
@@romy7498 Thank you so much, beautiful soul. ;)
Geographically speaking, taking into account the most northern, southern, western and eastern points, the Czech Republic is the heart of Europe ;)
@@Beckford4000 but you speak about Europe continent or about European Union?
Portugal broke every record, love it so much!!
Alexander Rybak had 378 points in televoting.
At the time was already 50/50… jury and televote… actually it’s the first year of it…
@@ruiduarte6620 The split results were published and he had 387 points in total. Just look on Wikipedia….
@@lucakuni6774 that was the overall result… the total of points… until 2016 that was the biggest amount of points given to a song… so as you see it was impossible to had 378 points from the televote… otherwise he should have had almost the double of 378 points…
@@ruiduarte6620 Like I said look on Wikipedia or in the Video of Misja Eurowizja.
This is after 2016, when the televoters were completely indenendent.
Lordi - 2006 - 292
Loreen - 2012 - 343
Il Volo - 2015 - 366
Alexander Rybak - 2009 - 378 (literally highest televote ever)
I think this is based off the updated Televote system which was introduced in 2016 I believe?
Literally yes, but not a fair comparison because not every year has the same number of participating countries, so that means the years where there were 42+ countries, more points were given... So that's why most people find it fairer to compare percentages (points gotten out of the total points possible) and not the actual number of points.
And that's why Italy (Il Volo 2015) still holds the record of the highest televoting percentage.
In 2009 was mixed voting system, so 378 votes were from jury+tele
@@user-zv7qi8ft7d yeah but Norway actually got 387 televoting points, but only 312 from the jury, which lowers the mixed points.
@@williamsoule9067 I know but the title says history, not in the past 5 years.
Sergey Lazarev is here in twice
Poland ❤️. I hope they will win someday
It's NOT Televoting history ! Grande Amore missing, Molitva missing, Wild Dances, Heroes ect this list is 2016+ CHANGE YOUR TITLE !
why are you so aggressive lmao
Well televoting only became separate in 2016 so it’s correct
So do us a favour and shush
@@crabrave8979 No, the title says 'Eurovision history', not 'Eurovision history since the televoting/jury split'. I get why the vid is from 2016 onwards, but the video title is totally misleading
@@rhysepoos it’s common sense tho XD
@@crabrave8979 How is it common sense? Why shouldn't a video with the highest televoting scores in history include songs from 1998-2008, when it was televoting only, or include songs from 2009-2015, when we know how songs performed in the televoting separately?
10 of them performed on 20th-26th places
If you count it the fairer way by percentage of possible points, Zitti e buoni climbs up to 3rd and She Got Me takes 20th instead of Lie to Me (plus a lot of other changes)
@@AliceFlynn Zitti e buoni competed in a year with less countries so it had less available points to achieve, so counting it only by point totals puts 2021 countries at a disadvantage
Bulgaria 🇧🇬 2017 and Belgium 🇧🇪 2017 so underrated 😭😭😭😭.
Lmao no Belgium 2017 so overrated
Bulgaria 2017 has the 2nd highest number of points in ESC history so not really
@@arvinroidoatienza7082 it's sad for Bulgaria. If they participated any other year, they probably would have won.
@@Kernel15 yes.
Now we can all agree that Sergej Lazarev is a fan favorite...
kinda weird to see it after 2022 edition. BUT the top should be named "since 2016" not "in history" because before split voting system there were pretty mich songs with high televote results, like top3 of 2015 or Norway 2009 (since 2022, third best televoting result in history)
urgh finland 2021 was so fking good
but its unfortunately underrated, blind channel is my favorite band since 2018 and they deserve more for sure
Get ready for Serbia joining the list this year😌
This list's title is not correct because it's missing all high scoring songs from before 2016. You can find from online the separate jury and televote points.
"In Eurovision history", yet no songs pre-2016... 🤔
the new voting system was adopted in 2016 where half the points come from the jury and half the points come from the Televote meaning that now Greece and Cyprus can give each other more points
That‘s because of the different voting systems. Have you not noticed that nowadays there are many more points to get?
@@Kikiricki11 I do and i'm aware of the voting system (been following eurovision actively since 2010), but that does not mean the title of the video is right, televoting and jury results from 2009 to 2016 (no 2013) are available out there, even in Wikipedia or esc-related pages.
@@Fani9892 And are they actually higher? Honestly asking because I know ‚Fairytale‘ had the most points until the new voting system and it was a bit less than 400 right?
@@Kikiricki11 hey! Sorry for the late reply. I checked the 2009 results and fairytale had 378 point in televoting (and 312 in jury). This means that it beats portugal 2017's points by 2. Germany 2010 also won the televote with 250 points (if i remeber), so there are variations.
Ukraine 2022: _hold my beer_
Fuego being only 13th is a crime
Overrated
@@BenefitCounterbench no just no 👎
@@BenefitCounterbench agree
@@BenefitCounterbench agree.
@@kaW3_4 generic euro-pop song, we have a bunch of them every year, so I never got the hype around Fuego, sorry ;)
Blanche
Meanwhile Ukraine 2022
Italy: Ukraine U Get 439 POINTS
Lazarev the best 🥺
This is not correct. Il volo from Italy is missing on the list, Alexander Rybak from Norway, and all televote between 2009-2015
I will never understand why Poland 2016 and Russia 2019 are in this list
Yodel It had that high a televote score?
Ruslana in 2004 has 256 points... What about "Eurovision history"?
It’s clearly 2016 and onwards when televote was introduced separately
Lazarev: *fuck it, I'll do it again*
I'm sorry, but where is the points of previous eurovision's? Ruslana has reached 280 points in 2004. Rybak had 382 points in 2009.
How does public vote work?
Tymczasem alexander rybak w 2009 z punktami wynoszącymi 387 😩✋
This is NOT the top of televoting in "history". If you want to say that you have to include the years when the result was formed only televoting (e.g. 2003 -2008 or something).
You have the results of the televoting the most recent years. Not in history.
Where is Euforia? That broke some record...
This video shows only scoring from 2016-2021
If u make a video with points from televoting in Eurovision HISTORY you forgot about 2004-2009
History is not 100% correct. You forgot 2009-2015
Wow! Portugal 2017 first! Let's all act surprised
Should be Fairytale though if earlier years than 2016 were included.
KALUSH ORCHESTRA with 439 points:
🇺🇦🏆🥇😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🥇🏆🇺🇦
Now Ukraine 2022 Makes It Up To 1st Place With 439 Points With Televoting!
Fun fact cyprus 2018 has equal points with Italy 2019 😜and sorry my English is not the best
there’s a new one now bcos ukraine got 439! Thats a lot!
where is Keiino??
7 th place
Grande amore???????????
Only separated votes (televotes only) from 2016-2021 are presented here.
@@TheFreeGreenChannel thank you 👍😊
Was about to scream for Grande Amore tbh.
And norway 2012? 😅
I wished i could include but those time the final points a split 50-50 jury tele for final results, this list made from independent split voting...
Norway came last in 2012 by the way 😅
@@KayAmenTV actually you could cause there are results in Wikipedia where points are separate
@@orkhanava9279 maybe i can redo again next time haha
What they did to KEiiNO is horrible
Still mad Bulgaria didn't win instead of fucking Portugal
Portugal was a deserved win.
Lazarev should have won in 2016, change my mind
I'm blind here it is lol
Eh, Portugal...
Portugal 2017 was so overrated, Bulgaria was much better
Yes, Bulgaria was my winner
Europe said otherwise! 😉
ukraine on top
Wtf, Poland is there 😳
Russia Eurovision 2016 best ever
