I’ve never seen a Eurovision crowd so behind a song before! Such a brilliant performance by Finland compared to the very formulaic and dated Swedish entry that only won because of so-called expert juries rather than 71% of the public vote that went to Käärijä.

Of course this was the audience winner. It obviously were a party going on and the interaction between artist and audience were closer, Käärijä performed(!). Swedish song were more like a presentation and the audience were just an audience with no interaction at all. That's why Käärijä were the people's choice and not Loreen.
Somebody might say, Käärijä dont sing very exellant. But it is not easy to sing, when 11000 people are shouting Cha cha cha in your ear 😁. And thats not the point anyway, because it`s crasy , it`s party 😆
Well, it is Eurovision _SONG_ Contest, not Eurovision Singing Contest. The best song should win, not the best singer, otherwise they could all perform the same song, so that it would be easier to compare. And Käärijä is the best _performer_ as whole, which comprises other qualities than the vocals, as well.
@@patrickuotinen According to this logic, you can simply turn on the studio records and ask people to vote. You are still using your ears to perceive the performance. So a pleasant voice and hitting the notes is important.

I think he got particularly exhausted here in the semifinal. Probably from the running in the beginning of the song and maybe nervousness.
