Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 8 1/2 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have 2 half Thai, half American boys named Luke and Leon. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 6 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together in Maenam Village in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

My parents came to America when they were teenagers and did not speak to us in their dialect because they were afraid that we would have accents and be bullied. Wow guys I am so happy that your kids will be able to secure their American passports and permanent residence visa or green card for your husband so you can all go to the U.S.and be able to decide later when Luke & Leon are both grown up to study in America so they can have the best of both worlds, Thailand & America.

oh yeah? Just wait until they become of age and find out that as Thai citizens they are liable to be drafted into the Army. Whether they speak Thai or not.
@@gkprivate433 It is okay for the kids to have both passports, they have an option to decide later if they want to keep the one or the other or both. It gives both advantages and disadvantages but for her husband to apply for a green card is not advised unless they plan to go and live there. With the green card there come reliabilities like paying taxes even if you do not life there. He does not need a green card to go there for visits. Stay away from the green card as long as you do not plan to live there. I know what I talk about, kept that stupid card much too long and paid lots of taxes for no reason whatsoever. Felt like a free man after I surrendered it.

@@gkprivate433 My luk krung kids never had to serve in the Thai military despite having Thai citizenship. They are in their 30's now so it's not going to happen.

Wow Bangkok is so beautiful and the hotels all that for only $60 on US dollars that's so like cheap The hotels are amazing I hope they have American food there in fact I think I found a perfect place for me to do film making over there in Bangkok Thailand I thought about studying Japan but I think change of plans by looking at this view it feels like Thailand is the best place I don't know if you know much about Buddhism but I read that if you listen to one of the Buddhism's meditation It gets rid of all the stress and all the negative that's whatever it is you're feeling and whatever it is you're scared of Buddhism helps You meditate to get rid of the negative thoughts and it worked are there any Buddhism there in Bangkok Thailand Bangkok my god it's so beautiful and it's perfect much better than Japan hahaha bless your kids are so cute can't wait when your third baby comes I hope it's a girl

@@claylover9845 really wow did I picked a good place to do my films there and to study there I bet the hotels in Japan cost like I don't know 1,000 something I need like a lot of money for the trip first thing I'm going to go is Bangkok and the best thing I like about it is that there's not that much people there's not that much big buildings and not that much you know stuff just enjoying the life of the Earth the nature The life that we have on the planet it's much better
I sincerely hope you return soon, I have enjoyed you all tremendously.... I was a broadcast engineer for forty years all over the world. Then I got blown up and ended up losing both legs above the knee, hence I can not travel any more , be safe blessings to you... CLIff
