Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 10 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 8 years.

Tbh..its still so hard to believe Gigi is gone. I still think I'll see her in a vlog sometimes, hear her laugh and make jokes. I cant imagine not hearing or seeing her anymore. Ill miss her ever happy spirit and those cute dimples!! ❤❤❤❤

I used to watched all your videos with your mom visiting you in Thailand, or you were all traveling somewhere and just having wonderful memories as a family. Your mom must be all proud of you, how you all fought for her life til the end. You guys fought really hard for her and she fought hardest for the love of all of you. It’s not going to be easy in weeks, months, or even years to come living without your mom by your side, but just know that she is smiling down on you and she is your angel watching over you sending you love every minute of the day. I can relate to Thailand being your home country. My family and I have lived in Albania for 12 1/2 years. It is home to us now. When we visit the states we feel like "fish out of the water."

Lilly I’m so very sorry that you went through this journey I personally went through with the same diagnosis my father had 22 years ago. You have been such a warrior for your mom and I watched and listened to your every thought and prayers for her and reminded me of myself. What gives me joy is to know that Gigi knew the Lord and for that, I’m ever so grateful to Him, for carrying her through all of this. I know none of this has been easy, especially having to leave your husband and kiddos, to go be with your mom but He has blessed you for being a faithful servant!

Me too, my mum just made 67 and she passed. Hardest thing I've been through.
Lily, you are not alone in this continuing journey. What I mean by continuing journey is that now you have to take time to take deep breaths and come to terms with your grief about the loss of your mother. You are a good Christian and you know God does everything at the right time we don't always understand but you understand it's on his time. He is a good man, and I saw in this video how much you mean to him and how dear you are to him and your family. Your mom eas so selfless and always wanted the best for each of her children. The best way for you and Wat to honor his dad and your mom is through living a wonderful life together, taking care of and nourishing your beautiful family and your extended family with Sun Wei, all of you are precious. It’s an honor to help our parents. They bring us into this world and we help them leave this world.
I do not know how many times I have seen this video, and every time I see this video. I say to myself, I missed that. Little baby Lila is an Angel. Every time I see her on your videos. I have a smile on my face. Lilly, I heard you say you have some white hair. Love, we all go old one day. I had a guy come yesterday with his wife to cut down my palm trees. Out of the blue. He asked me how old I was . I said to him guess it. They both said 55. They are from Sumoa. But boy can they work. They were double my size, and they were pushing those logs, as though it was paper. Lilly, live for your kids. I am telling you this through my own experience. Time flies so quickly, and the kids just grow up, and then one day we sit and say to ourselves. Where did the time go.

Now your going through the healing process which is not easy so be kind to yourself. You will go through so many stages, but each stage will bring you back to a new normal. You will think of a million things you want to tell you mom so speak to her. Yes it will be different, but somehow she hears you. I wish you love, prayer’s and most of all healing.
