Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 9 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and are expecting our third child in a few weeks. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 6 years.
Wat and I have owned several businesses together on Maenam walking street in Koh Samui. Right now our restaurant Lilikoi Bistro is closed but we will let you know when we reopen.

Yes I wanted to be sure Lilly made it home safe through the Covid quarantine and to help with Luke just in case anyone tested positive for Covid. I wanted to stay and be there for the new baby but I had to come home. I will return soon.

Thank you for sharing earlier experiences of stays in Thailand. Before today's vlog I thought Thailand was simply a 5 star lifestyle. Baby squeals of delight, family fellowship of delicious foods, lovely country people, sparkly beach, water play. Who could ask for anything more?Especially sipping morning coffee as I arm chair travel through your vlogs.
We have been blessed to be able to have a few days at these amazing hotels. I spent 5 weeks in Thailand but we mostly stayed at Lilly’s house.

I wish I could be close with my mum, but for a number of reasons it will never happen (we still have a reasonable enough relationship, just not close). Wish Wat speak thai to his sons so they gonna fluent both languages. ^^. Lovely family!
If he speaks Southern dialect to them which is very hard for some Thai people to understand if you’re from other part of Thailand.I’m Thai.
@@piriyapalau2915 There are some clip video Wat spoke Thai Southern dialog to the kids and Luke talked the same.
He speaks Thai to them a lot, and Nam speaks Thai and Burmese to them. Just in the video he is speaking English
It's fine to be English - Southern Thai bilingual. There are a lot of English-North Eastern Thai bilinguals on this world which is so cute. For my opinion, you will have some benefit when you speak local accent in the area compare with central Thai accent. Especially, when you ask for some discount LOL.
